Pressed Powders -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder
MsFeli89 11/29/2011 12:54:00 PM
Possible one of the worst powder foundations I have tried. I have had this powder in my make up drawer for a couple years now and used it only once in awhile. I've been starting to use it so I can just get rid of it, and I don't like it at all. My skin is very oily. I press on this powder with a flat top ELF brush below my eyes over my concealer and my tzone area. It doesn't help control oil what so ever but it's probably just not a good powder for oily skin. The color does match me perferct however, and the coverage is ok but the lasting power is bad. Will not repurchase, I will probably just throw it away.
I love this color! I went into ULTA looking for an OPI nail polish that was in the basic neutral colors. Like tannish brown. This one was perfect! I think it's lovely for the Fall/Winter time. And matches everything. Will definitley repurchase.
Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation
MsFeli89 11/29/2011 12:45:00 PM
I bought this foundation bc I have extremely oily skin, and I wanted something to help control the oil on my nose, forehead and chin and keep me matte all day. Foundation I used before is Lancome Tiente Idole. I went to Sephora and first I got shade 55. The price is $34. The next day I put it on and it was too light so week later I exchanged it for #65. I've been wearing it for a couple days to work, I work a 9-5 job, so my foundation always melts off my face by noon. This foundation does not do a great job of controlling my oil. Im oily after 1 hr! I apply it with my Sonia Kashuk flat top brush or just use my hands sometimes. It could also be that I am using a bad powder, which is L'oreal Trueblend. I hate this powder but it's my only powder at the moment. I wore it by it self and it seemed better. Maybe if I use a better powder it will help. I'm almost considering returning this foundation. A foundation that I think is better than this one, is Clinique Acne Control. it covers beautifuly and helps with the oil control better and its only $24. I may just get that one instead. Also the coverage is not the great. I only like to apply 1 layer of foundation on my face, other wise i feel like it will look cakey.... And I feel that with this one you have to apply more than 1 layer. I want a foundation that with 1 swipe it makes my skin look beautiful, even, clean and matte! This one just doesn't do it for me. Really sucks bc I thought this foundation would be so good! Maybe my skin is just too oily. :(
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray
MsFeli89 10/15/2011 12:05:00 PM
I bought this about 2 days ago at ULTA. I kept debating if I should get it or not because it sounds like an amazing product. I have really oily skin especially in my tzone. I finally decided to purchase it, I feel it was so expensive $29, I also bought this and Urban Decay eye primer potion in Eden. Ended up spending a little over $50 bucks! So I was really hoping this product would work if not I was going to return it! The packaging is so cheapy and ugly. But anyways that same night I was going out, so I followed the directions. Sprayed on my face after I moisturized and then sprayed on my face after my make up was all done! But don't spray this after just putting mascara on, I would wait after to put your mascara on. Each time I spray, I do about 4 sprays. I did notice after 3 hours my face was not oily. After that it did get a little shiny on my nose but not a big deal. I don't believe it lasts up to 6 six hours though. I like it and I feel it does a good job, I'm not one to powder or reapply foundation through out the day but I do blot. And I feel like it does a good job of not making my face looking like an oil slick! Only negative is how expensive it is. :/ So I dont think id rebuy again.
Highlighters -Clinique - Fresh Bloom AllOver Colour - Peony

Got this as a GWP back a few years ago, yeah its been that long. Never really cared to use it for some reason. But about a month ago just starting using and I loved it. Im Nc42 and I think it looks beautiful on. I use it as a blush and highlighter. But sadly it broke and shattered so I dont use it as often now. Thinking about buying the fullsize, but its very expensive. About $30? But nice quality, stays on, and its kind of reddish on my cheeks and the pale pink mixed with it gives me an angelic glow. Think im gonna buy the full size!
Tinted Moisturizer -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20
MsFeli89 1/18/2010 12:07:00 AM
Bought this bc heard great reviews on this on youtube. Bought it in medium/dark and I have oily/combination skin. Very nice when you put it on, covers most imperfections, need to wear concealer and looks like you have foundation on. But after an hour or two, my skin is so oily and it smears and gets on everything! I picked up my nephew and I got makeup on his sweater. Works a little better when you put powder on, but still. Not good if you have oily skin. Wouldnt buy again.
I like this not really the best bronzer I have tried, Ive tried cheaper bronzers that i think work better than this. But i do like it. Its sheer, not really pigmented but you can build it up. which is good bc bronzers that are too pigment can make you look muddy. Its not really matte which i like, just a smidge of shimmer. i was also scared bc its so dark in the pan! but just right for my nc42 skin. I tried refined golden and it didn't really show up on my skin.
I love this stuff! =) I have naturally curly hair, so be4 i blowdry my hair I put a good amount of products in it to keep it nice and straight, but my hair gets so greasy and oily at the roots after like 2 days! I dont like to blow dry my hair either so when I do I want it to last a long time. I bought this a Sally's the Blush version. And It worked amazing! I just spray it at my roots and a lil all over and my hair is greasy ne more! like magic...The Blush one has a deodorant kinda smell like those spray deodorants from Secret lol. But it goes away and I dont mind it.
I was on the in Walgreens one night looking for a new moisturizer, I've been really wanting to get Clinique's Dramatically Different Gel, but all the malls are too far from me. So I saw this one, I was looking 4 an oil-free, non pore clogging moisturizer. So i thought i tried this one. It was lil expensive, $13-14? Dont remember. I've been using it for about 2-3 months now, And I really do love it. I didnt' use it daily when I 1st bought it but now I do. For a month straight now. It has really made a difference in my skin. Its much more even and brighter. And when I put it on it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and soft. I love it! It leaves it perfect and ready for when I put on makeup and at night. Definitley will buy again. But I still want to get that Clinique one! lol. So my daily face routine is 1. Neutrogena Oil-free face wash 2. Clinique step 3 Clarifying Toner 3. Garnia Regenerating Daily Moisturiser. It's really cleared up my skin!

BUT NE WHO I USED THIS, AND IT TOOK ALL MY MAKEUP OFF AND LEFT MY SKIN LEAVING FRESH BUT I HAD TO USE LIKE 2-3 TO MAKE SURE ALL MAKEUP WAS OFF. SO I BOUGHT IT CUZ I LIKED IT BUT IT WAS EXPENSIVE FOR ONLY 30 TOWELS? I THINK. I THINK ABOUT 6, 7 ,8 DOLLARS? DNT REMEMBER BUT I JUST REMEMBER THINKING TWICE BE4 BUYING IT SINCE ITWAS SO EXPENSIVE. I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT BUYING THEM AGAIN. BUT STILL THINKING. NICE WAY TO REFRESH UR FACE DURING THE DAY.

Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - Synthetic Flat Top Multipurpose Brush
MsFeli89 7/13/2009 7:26:00 PM
This brush....I did not like this brush when i first bought it i must say. I always saw in Target and wanted to get it and especially from the good reviews on here for foundation. which is what i wanted it for. But the first couple times I used it i found it so inconvienent or however u spell that lol. It was too stiff and i found it hard to blend. But a month goes by and i my foundation brushes were getting gross. So i pulled this out and used it for my foundation and i must say it was so easy and blended out my foundation perfectly! It made my foundation flawless! Idk y it didn't work the 1st time but w/e. I stipple it on all over my face and then blend it in. I use Clinique Even Better foundation and it looks flawless.
EHH. NO ME GUSTA. THOUGHT I WOULD LOVE BUT IDK, I JUST DONT LIKE IT. AND I REALLY DO LOVE PURPLES. BUT I JUST DONT LIKE. I GOT MY FIRST 4 MAC EYESHADOWS, HUMID, RICEPAPER, SHALE, AND SKETCH. EHH...I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA LOVE THIS E/S. PURPLES LOOK REALLY GOOD ON ME. BUT THIS ONE DOESN'T SHOW UP ON ME OR I GUESS IS NOT WELL PIGMENTED. UHH I DID NOT LIKE AT ALL! IM TAN SKINTONED AND ITS TOO SHEER! WTF! IDKK. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.
