Very nice foundation. Leaves a soft airbrushed look. Great staying power. I live in San Antonio, and it is between 96 and 100 most days between May and October. My makeup usually melts off if I have to be outside for more than 30 seconds, but this stuff stays put. I set it with the MK loose powder. Great stuff. New HG.

LOVE this blush!!! The color is a really beautiful, not clownish, pink and it has a great sparkly quality to it, a lot like NARS Orgasm. It is beautiful and lasts all day. It works really well for me, makes my skin look fresh and awake. Will be keeping this one on hand at all times!

Foundations -Unlisted Brand - Luminess Airbrush System

I just received this three days ago. The first day, I was ready to return it almost immediately, but I figured I would give it another chance or two. I was in a grumpy mood the first day I tried it so that did not help my patience level. Today is my third time using it and now that I have figured out how to keep it moving at just the right speed without putting too much product on my face, it actually looks really great. Word of caution, go easy on the blush...it is highly pigmented and will be intense if you add too much. When doing my under eye circles or any redness, I put it on the low setting and get in pretty close with the foundation, keep the stylus moving slowly until the area I want to conceal disappears. Then I dry it with just the air and no product coming out of the air brush. I do my overall foundation after that, moving slowly and just lightly spraying on one layer. I do set everything with a thin veil of my mineral setting powder because I am prone to sweating, especially in the San Antonio heat. I will probably order shadows and liners from Dinair in the next few days so I can actually do all of my makeup with the air brush. I really like it. It is fun and now that I have used it a few times, it is really quick. It's also pretty cool at filling in eyebrows. It gives a very natural look instead of the too dark or "too perfect" look of a brow pencil. I am disappointed that Luminess Air does not have more of a color selection, but I'm very fair and got lucky in that I found a perfect match with the F3 foundation. The F2 was a bit too pink though. Cleaning it is no big deal. I mix alcohol and water, back wash it for a couple of seconds, and then spray it through until clear and dry. I did not really have high hopes after all the reviews I've seen on line, but I was very curious so ordered it anyway. I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised. This is a cool way of doing my makeup, and it is quicker and less messy than using mineral makeup. I will update again in a couple of weeks to see if my skin is reacting okay to longer term use of the makeup. UPDATE: I have been using this every day since the last update, and the more I use it the more I love it. You do need to have a light hand with it. I have decided not to use the blush that comes in this kit at all. It is just too intense for my skin color, no matter how light I do. However, the foundation (F3) is awesome! It really does give great, long lasting coverage. I do put a light dusting of powder on when I am finished because I live in San Antonio and it is HOT. There is no makeup in the world that can withstand this heat and not melt. However, when I use the airbrush foundation and set it with just a light layer of Sonia Kashui Barely There Loose Powder, it is perfect and really lasts. I don't even get those irritating sunglasses marks through my makeup on the sides of my nose. I spray a little more of the foundation under my eyes and around my nose and on any blemishes but for the rest of my face, one light even coat and I'm good. It really is quick and simple now and makes my skin look great. I cannot say enough about this system. It is really great. I am going to order some different colors of foundation, blush, eye shadow and liner from Dinair because they seem to have a great selection of colors, more so than Luminess, and their product is really thin and should work with the system just fine. If you have been wondering about this and have the patience to try it several times before you figure out how to get it just right, it is fanastic and you'll love it! Just beware that blush! It is just too dark for me!

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Lineur Intense

I really wanted to love this eyeliner, but as soon as I tried applying it, it was much too wet and would simply "disappear". I am not sure if it just will not stay put if there is any oil at all on the lid or what, but I could not get an even distribution of color across my lid at all. It was very frustrating. I returned it to the store and picked up the Physicians Formula Felt Tip liner in black. Works much better!

I actually love this product! It is the only eyeliner I have found (liquid or marker type) that allows me to create a very fine, very precise line just along my lash line without constantly correcting mistakes and ultimately drawing a thicker line than I want to cover up the uneven line I started with! If it continues to perform as it has been since I purchased it, I will definitely buy again. Will update if it changes.

Absolutely fantastic! The best flat iron I have ever used. This is the one my stylist uses, and I always love how my hair looks after a visit to the salon but could never get it "just right" at home. Now I can, without even blow drying. I wash my hair, let it air dry, then style with my Chi. It is quick and easy and makes my long, thick, very wavy hair look silky and smooth. This stuff covers so well!!! It feels light as air, does not take much product AT ALL and covers beautifully without settling into fine lines. It is really great for the area around the nose and under the eyes. It lasts and lasts and lasts. I am very pale so I NEED a great concealer/foundation. This serves both purposes and feels sooo good! I admit, I am lazy at 11:00 o'clock at night when going to bed. I religiously brush my teeth, but I am not about to take the time necessary to wash my fash and apply moisturizer. With EM, I don't feel so guilty anymore. This makeup feels like I'm not wearing anything at all on my face, and it is all natural so sleeping with it on is just fine by me. Finally, an affordable, HIGH quality makeup that lives up to the hype!!! Go EM!

This blush is beautiful! I am sooo fair, and this color is perfect. It looks like a natural blush, has AMAZING staying power, and is so affordable! I love the way it feels, like not wearing makeup at all, but the color is perfect and true. I will only use EM makeup from now on. Just used the stuff from the sample kit so far, just placed my first full order and am already hooked!!!

Hair Color -Ion - Color Brilliance

I strayed from ION for a while and came back to it and am in love with it all over again!!! I used the cream in medium intense red blonde and 30 cream developer. I used ColorFix before hand to remove about a year's worth of color build-up, conditioned and treated with ION protein pack, dried my hair, then applied color, rinsed, conditioned for 5 minutes wth Feria conditioner, then rinsed, dried and styled. It is GORGEOUS!!! Very true, brilliant red. So natural looking and tons of shine. I just LOVE ION COLOR BRILLANCE!!! HG HAIR COLOR!!! :)

Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

LOVE THIS! I color my hair at home, have for a few years now. I can honestly say I've tried them all. I am pale with freckles, green eyes, and red hair. I use this in Spicy Salsa, and it turns out to be a beautiful, warm, natural looking auburn/red without making me look like a traffic cone or a clown. I get TONS of compliments on my hair. My husband has started to keep count. It's a running joke now. Garnier also leaves my hair in great condition after I have colored it. I used to love Feria, but it really was harsh on my hair and after only a couple of colorings, my hair was ravaged. This stuff has been gentle, consistent and beautiful for YEARS. Will not switch again. HG all the way!!!

Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

This is a really great foundation. I found my HG! I do not like taking forever to apply foundation, and this really makes getting your makeup looking perfect a quick and easy breeze. Word of caution, LESS IS MORE! This stuff works well, and you do not need much to provide a ton of coverage. Definitely set it with a light patting of dry powder, or you will end up looking rather shiny should you encountere humidity and/or sweat at all. All in all, a great product! Definitely a repurchase!!

Used the Feria Colour Strands, and it worked out really well! I put caramel highlights in red hair and will be repurchasing...felt a little dry, but nothing crazy, nothing good Feria conditioner won't fix. Love it!

I just tried Herbal Essences Bold & Brilliant in Radiant Ruby, and it is terrific! The color is gorgeous and virant, not dull or flat at all, and the conditioner that comes with is absolutely wonderful...very moisturing and left my hair feeling silky and smelling great. Will definitely repurchase. Maybe HG of hair color!

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eyeliner Gel Macroviolet

I love these! I have Iris Eyes, Blacktrax, and Macroviolet. I have discovered if you put a very thin line of Blacktrax on first and then a thicker line of Iris Eyes or Macroviolet on top of that, it gives a very sexy and dramatic effect for going out at night! The colors are beautiful and stay put forever. With the Iris Eyes, you have to put a little more on to get the bold look, but other than that, these are HG eyeliners all the way!!! Will DEFINITELY be repurchasing!!!

I LOVE this eyeliner! I bought this on a whim at Sally's while picking up hair color, and I will never use another eyeliner. I got this in the plum/lavender color, which is gorgeous! I have red hair (thanks Miss Clairol!) and green eyes with freckles. Something about this color just works really well. It is SUPER easy to apply and lasts forever. The applicator takes just a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it (it only took me once!), it is really easy and loads of fun! It also has a great price...only $3.99 and it looks like it was last a while!
