Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Made For Me Pinks LUMINOUS
MrsKH 9/28/2010 6:37:00 AM
This is a review of LīOreal Color Riche Made For Me Intense, in 288 Intense Fuchsia. A caption on the lid states: "Dark skin tones". Since my skin is NC 15-20, I take this with a grain of salt. Intense Fuchsia is a seen-across-the-room dark pink, or magenta. It is really intense, a shocking pink with a creamy feeling and look. Doesnīt dry the lips too badly. The lipstick has the typical, soft LīOreal, smell. A bit old-fashioned, but not unpleasant. The product glides on - and stays put for at least a day. If you wash it off but donīt have any industrial strength remover, your lips may very well be slightly pink the next day! The engraved brand name on the lipstick is a nice touch. OK packaging, discreet in light silver and gold hues. All in all - a dazzling lipstick, to be worn as an exclamation mark on the puckers.

Bronzers -Lily Lolo - Waikiki
MrsKH 8/3/2010 2:35:00 PM
Now this is a great colour for those gals that never get a sunburn, but almost never tan either. (Or maybe thatīs just me?) Waikiki is somewhat speckled, which adds a more natural hue to the skin. The bronzer also works as a blush. This is a thrifty purchase. A little goes a long way. Too much product on the brush results in a very, very, brown-tanned face.

Lipstick -GOSH - Velvet Touch Lipstick #134 Darling
MrsKH 7/1/2010 5:05:00 PM
Now this is some serious makeup mojo going on! My lips are naturally light pinkish-but-a-tiny-bit-brown, so this nude lipstick mutes the colour somewhat. Yet Darling looks natural. How? I didnīt know it was possible. Creme īdī Nude by trusty Mac pales (no pun intended) in comparison. The final touch: The lid closes with a satisfying little click, if one wants to officially mark another successful attempt at gilding the lily. (Which surely is oneīs mission, donīt you think?)

Highlighters -Pop Beauty - Pop-up Glow - Sunny
MrsKH 6/26/2010 8:08:00 AM
Plus: "Sunny" gives a nice glow to fair-skinned (NC15) people. Cons: The stick is extremely hard to use. The product stays in its container - not popping up as the name indicates, - and scrapes the skin when I try to apply it. "Sunny" smells of artificial melon, which I canīt stand. The smell is the main reason why Iīm not using nor buying this product a second time.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Retrospeck (Lustre)
MrsKH 6/25/2010 7:52:00 AM
My skin is fair (NC15), and Retrospeck works a treat. It brings out the eyecolour, but not in a shouty way. The hue reminds me of the healthy gleam one gets on the skin, after a day out in the sun. Sometimes I try to find a similar, cheaper e/s in the same colour. (Mac is rather expensive in Sweden.) So far, no luck. Retrospeck is one of a kind. I hope Mac never discontinues this product. If so, Iīll have a major personality crisis, looks-wise!

Fragrances -Caron - Narcisse Noir

Naughty oranges. Thatīs what spring to mind. I have the EdT and love it dearly. Whenever I wear this, I have a feeling that Iīm a star in an old-fashioned black-and-white movie. Red lipstick, ondulated locks, you get the picture.
