Foundations -Revlon - Nearly Naked Foundation

I am IN LOVE with this little gem! Finally, a drugstore foundation that is perfect for me. To start off my skin is: -Acne prone -Lots of scars, blemishes, dark spots, and uneven skin tone color -Combo/Oily (I get more oily around my nose and cheeks) The texture of this foundation is beautiful. It blends into my skin like butter, and guess what? It covers WAY BETTER than Colorstay. Yes I said it.. This covers better. All my scars aren't concealed, but after 2 coats, my face looks fresh. I love how glowing and dewy it leaves my face without the greasy feeling or look. It makes me look so healthy and fresh and alive, I love it! It last me a pretty decent time, around 8-10 hrs. Other foundations are either too matte looking and makes my acne scars look dry and crusty, or too oily and makes me look like a grease-ball. This has the perfect amount of texture and finish to it. And, it's light and breathe able on my skin. I really love this foundation, I will repurchase forever! Btw, I have brown indian skin, and I got this in chestnut. I usually wear Carmel from the revlon line, but the caramel in this foundation seemed a little too light for me. Chestnut is a close to perfect match, I'm so happy with this foundation :)

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - Full Cover Concealer
Mramdayal 12/29/2012 6:38:00 PM
Oh my Lord! This stuff covers like no other. It is like your taking an eraser and erasing your imperfections and scars. I LOVE IT!! It's so smooth, creamy, dries matte, and so LONG-LASTING! It even covered my moms tattoo on her hand!!! Can be used alone and set with powder or over foundation to conceal any stubborn skin flaws. I love this stuff so so much. Only downside is that it's very pricey ($32 USD at Sephora) but, it's so worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! <3 :)

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
Mramdayal 11/26/2012 9:22:00 PM
My first impression trying this on, was that, it's very creamy, and the color was perfect for my dark brown Indian skin (got it in the darkest shade). Putting it on, it was very soft and smooth, blending very nicely. After it was set, it felt smooth on my skin and very light, couldn't even feel or tell I was wearing any form of facial makeup. I put it on around 3:30. By 5 something, I looked in the mirror.... And I was a grease ball! It made me so oily and greasy. This is nice for when you aren't going out, but just lounging around home, and running small errands. Not sure if I would repurchase though, let's see if it does what it says for "8 in 1"

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow
Mramdayal 11/24/2012 11:59:00 AM
These eyeshadows are awesome :) I have the one in "Bold Gold" and it's a creamy, nice color. I love how it has a shimmer in it, without the chunky sparkles, that falls off and ends up everywhere except on my eyelids! The color is creamy and soft and goes on nice. It is metallic and not matte. The only downside is that, it isn't so pigmented. But, that's no worries, because I use this as a base(the staying power is AMAZINGGG!) and then the gold shadow in the Too Faced kit "The Return of Sexy" over it. I get the PERFECT gold, sexy sultry eyes every time. I'm in love and will be buying more colors, thanks Maybelline!

Crème -Revlon - ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup

I really wanted to love this foundation, because everyone practically raved about how good it is. For me, this is just like any other foundation out there. To start with, I always have acne on my cheeks. I also have acne scars, not too much but enough to see it's there. THE COVERAGE: This foundation isn't all that. For one thing, it DOES NOT give full coverage. Maybe for people with good skin, but for my problematic skin, it did NOTHING. With 2 coats I still saw my dark acne scars. It also just sits on the skin, taking very long to dry. One thing I liked about it, is that it isn't cakey. It gives you a matte look without looking too flat on the skin. FEEL: Despite being thick it feels light on the skin. I'm shocked it doesn't cover well being So thick and whipped. OIL CONTROL: This does control oil. I feel the more it sits on my skin the better it soaks in and blends out. LASTING POWER: This last me about a good 12 hours, not bad. For a drugstore foundation, the price is evry high, especially it isn't full coverage at all. This runs about $12-15 depending on where you purchase. Over all, I like the feel to it and lightweight. But just wish it provided more coverage. Not something I'm in love with, and would not repurchase.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
Mramdayal 11/19/2012 4:45:00 PM
I am absolutely IN LOVE with this foundation. And every time I use it, I fall in love even more. To start with, my skin isn't the best. I ALWAYS have acne, only on my cheeks. I also have acne scars, a lot of it. What I look for in a foundation the most is full coverage and long lasting. This foundation makes my skin FLAWLESS!!! It is thin and runny, yet applies like a dream. It isn't thick and feels sticky on the skin. It really is super blend-able. What I love about it the most is that it is full overage. Believe it or not, this covers BETTER than revlon colorstay. Although it is full coverage, it never feels mask like. It blends like butter into my skin and makes me look so natural. Even my fiancé comments how beautiful I look when wearing this foundation, and he hates when I wear makeup! The only downside is that... This isn't long lasting. I would do my makeup around 7 am and by 2 pm I see my scars peeking through, not a lot but it's visible. I just WISH the lasting power was longer. But, I do use a primer and set with loreal translucent power( that's amazing also) and it lasts a little longer. Overall, great product, totally love it and would buy forever and ever.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational Blissful Berry
Mramdayal 11/9/2012 3:31:00 PM
Really nice color for my dark brown skin. A rich deep berry color with a tint of a red wine color. It is a little drying and doesn't last too long, but very good lipstick overall, matches me perfectly and looks beautiful.

Liquid -L'Oreal - infallible never fail makeup
Mramdayal 11/8/2012 10:46:00 PM
Despite all the low ratings, I really do like this foundation. My first reaction to this foundation upon opening the product and testing it out, was that, it's watery and thin. I really was disappointed at first. After a couple times of shaking it vigorously, I tried it again, this time, it wasn't runny at all, but thick and creamy. (Please shake product upon using) The coverage is medium and can be built up to full coverage, for those who doesn't have much scarring and problematic skin. I have quite a few acne scars, black spots, and pimples, and this coves most of it with 2 full coats. So far so good. The only downside is that.... There isn't much colors to choose from! The darkest shade is classic tan, which is still too light for me. I really like this foundation, so I use this first, then apply revlon colorstay whipped foundation in caramel over this. The results is a flawless, dewy, full coverage finish. This foundation covers way better then revlon colorstay both in liquid and whipped formulas. It also dries onto the skin, with no transfer of makeup, and last me all day (8-10 hrs). Overall, a great product. Way better than a lot of other drugstore foundations. Just wish they had more colors, there aren't just light colored people In this world, I don't understand why carry makeup stopping only at a light color >_<

Bronzers -Physicians Formula - Bronze Booster Pressed Bronzer - Med to Dark
Mramdayal 11/8/2012 2:31:00 PM
This pressed bronzer is amazing. A little pricey, being $18.85 at CVS. It's Great for contoring the face, and for everyday use. It is sheer, yet buildable. And, no matter how much you use, it is never cakey or looks dry and piled on. The shimmer in it is milled fine, and doesn't show up at all, it gives more of a glowy, healthy look. When used on top of foundation, this provides excellent full coverage and hides nasty acne scars, and smooths out fine lines. My face feels soft to the touch with this product and last about 8-10 hours. I highly HIGHLY recommend this bronzer to anyone. Best bronzer ever, without the orange tint and high shimmer that most bronzers contain. In the package it looks a little light, but this will adjust to any skin color. I am a deep brown color and it goes on very nice. I'm IN LOVE with this bronzer, a everyday must have for me. Will use this forever and ever...

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
Mramdayal 9/20/2012 5:09:00 PM
UPDATE: This made me broke out so bad, it's so thick yet doesn't even cover well, so not happy with this! Deff NOT full coverage! Pros: Nice thick formula without being too thick or cakey Provides good coverage Long lasting (12 hrs max for me) Doesn't leave my face too oily or greasy looking (even after 12 hrs of wear! And I do have oily acne prone skin) Doesn't need any powder to set it (I tried the formula for normal/dry skin that was an oil mess, the one for combo/oily skin is great for anyone with that kind of skin Cons: Very pricey for a drug store foundation- $15.23 at Duane Reade Doesn't have a pump(for the formula and thickness, this one needed a pump :-/ ) When it's almost finished, takes very long to pour out of the bottle Bottle can be VERY messy, and sometimes when rushing you tend to over pour, causing product to waste Has a high smell, for some that might be a problem, it does die down though after putting it on Dries quickly, for those now starting to wear liquid foundation this might be a little too hard for them, because it requires blending and doing it fast. Overall, a great product, if it wasn't because of the great coverage and the airbrushed look it gave me, I wouldn't have repurchased. I would buy again, I never bought the same foundation twice, but this one is a keeper. Please revlon, if you wanna make changes, don't change the foundation itself, just add a pump >_<
