I have been using this for 4+ years. I buy the huge bottles and they last well. My skin is impossible and this is the ONLY product in the last few years I have not only finished but continually re-purchased. Very occasionally I get bored and try another cleanser and regret it bitterly! I have extremely dehydrated, sensitive skin. I implore everyone to buy this so they never discontinue it!! This cleanser smells really old lady-ish I have to say. Don't let that put you off. I really wasn't convinced about it at first - I thought it was pretty boring and wasn't going to do much - but I persisted and am so pleased I did. Ignore the instructions to tissue off and rinse it off instead. It works very well removed with a washcloth or just by splashing your face - it's quite thin and rinses off like a cleansing oil does. It has worked absolute wonders on my nightmare skin. It also does a good job of removing waterproof eye make up because of the mineral oil. The ingredients list is a bit off-putting as it's not exactly au naturel but who cares it works and I find it incredibly difficult to find things that do! I have tried pretty much every type of cleanser under the sun: super-expensive/natural/off-the-shelf Boots/home-made.........the list goes on.....

Oh no - why oh why oh why did I think it would be a good idea to put this on my face? I am so distressed right now - my dehydrated skin looks 100 times worse - covered in small red bumps and thousands of fine lines! I used this for about 4 days. HELP!!!!!!!

Be very careful if you have sensitive skin. I got a sample of this and my face flared up bright red and was burning (I tried it twice to make sure it wasn't coincidental). I went back to the shop to look at ingredients - alcohol denat is third ingredient. I can imagine that even if you don't have particularly sensitive skin, this foundation won't do you any favours in the long run - dehydration/break outs etc.

I ended up chucking my huge bottle of this away. It was way too thin for me - need more coverage than that. It is an odd texture- sort of thin and slightly sticky and I found it went on in a very uneven fashion. I gave it a go on a scar on my body as well and it was totally useless - just coated the fine hairs on my arm and covered none of my scar!

Don't do it! My skin reacts badly to this - guess what - it's full of alcohol. No wonder lots of people complain of break outs - poor skin gets a battering if you put this junk on it. Mine looked red and dehydrated and very cross indeed. Oh yeah - it stinks as well - so heavily perfumed. Just vile.

I struggle to understand how people find this foundation to be hydrating - I find it really drying. It is also not great coverage. Think you need to have lovely young dewy skin in the first place to really like it! I have found that it works quite well mixed with ELDW. The ELDW gives it more coverage and in turn it reduces the coverage of ELDW and gives it a bit of its light-reflecting qualities! Obviously the whole combo is fairly drying though. So - yes - I would buy again to mix it in this way as the mix is the best foundation I can find. Why can't a company bring out a good moisturising light reflecting foundation?? I WISH this one was thicker and not so chalky.

AWFUL. I couldn't work out why this irritated my skin - made it red and parched and then I saw it had straight alcohol really high up on the ingredients list. WTF?!!!! Don't go there people. This is rose day cream LIGHT and not the regular version, which is fine.

Very good indeed. I have extremely dehydrated, sensitive, mild rosacea skin and I struggle with products. I have been through about 4 tubes of this now (it is rare for me to finish a product let alone continually buy it!). I use it as a night cream and now no longer examine my face in horror when I get up as I know it will look fine and even have some moisture left in it. I do like Eucerin a lot as a brand - so mild and good value. (BTW I don't go a bundle on the day version with SPF - it contains alcohol - why?!! I haven't tried the light version.) EDIT: Taken to using this in the day as well now - and putting sunscreen over it. It is the BEST if you have sensitive and dry or dehydrated skin. I wish they did big tubes of it as I just slather so much on - it makes me so happy that it works!

LOVE IT. I have sensitive, insanely dehydrated skin. I find putting oily moisturisers on makes my skin break out and freak out but anything less does not moisturise enough - it's a total nightmare. However, a thick layer of this at night is magic - my skin still has some semblance of moisture in the morning which is a massive result in my book. It is far far better than E45 or anything like that. It has no mineral oil for a start (I don't have massive issues with mineral oil as such I just really don't find it to be a good moisturiser). Eucerin 5% urea doesn't block pores and it is very gentle on skin. I don't use it in day as no SPF - am just trying the hyaluron filler SPF15 in the Eucerin range which so far seems good.

Although I have had some bad experiences with believing MUA, I found this product through MUA and I really love it. It is a brilliant product - really suits my extremely fussy sensitive (mild rosacea) dehydrated (like a desert) skin. Does not irritate and gives a nice glow. As a reviewer below said: "I'm not as stressed out about how my skin looks (which makes it look even worse and starts a vicious cycle)". It is so annoying that it is not available in the UK and I have to order it through eBay from the USA - I hope they bring Lumeme to the UK soon! Especially since I get through it pretty quickly. EDIT: Upped to 5 lippies - this product goes from strength to strength for me. It is one of the few things I have tried in the last few years that actually helps. It's so good - a mix of moisturising oils and natural moisturising factors - without any silly ingredients just there to sound good, or irritating essential oils. It makes my skin look much more supple. Please bring this Lumene to the UK!

BEYOND AWFUL! I dread to think how oily people's skin must be if they like this. It is SO SO drying! It goes on really smoothly and nice and you think "wow", then 5 minutes later watch your face shrivelling up like a wizzened old witch - stripped of every molecule of moisture. Alcohol is the 3rd ingredient - could have something to do with it........

For the life of me I can't understand HOW people like this foundation! It is so drying. It goes on smoothly and then you can watch your face shrivel up. One of the main ingredients is straight alcohol - what is that all about?! As I read in a review for the latest Clarins foundation: "alcohol in foundation seems to be a disturbing new trend, i.e., DiorSkin Nude Liquid, Teint Miracle, Vitalumiere Aqua, and now Skin Illusion." It's so true - I tried that Dior one and it did exactly the same to my skin - then I noticed it had alcohol as the 3rd ingredient.

Caveat emptor! I bought this because I wanted something neutral, natural and calming. I have NEVER had a reaction like I had with it! About 10 secs after application my face went crimson and was burning. I thought I'd wait and see what happened....the burning subsided but the redness remained. What on earth do they put in this gear?! Normally I use unsuitable face creams on my body instead but I didn't even want to do that. Luckily Whole Foods let me return it without any fuss whatsoever. Sometimes I really have to concede that the big cosmetic houses have a wealth of research behind them and these "natural" companies are a law unto themselves.

Mascara -Rimmel - Glam Eyes

EDIT: Rimmel have done something to this mascara - I swear. After loving it for years I now find it appalling. I have tried 3 new ones in the hope that I just got a "dud" but will not re-purchase. I don't know if it's just me but with this mascara the brown/black is a million times better than straight black. I've bought quite a few brown/blacks - but the 2 I have bought in black have been awful - a totally different animal! Odd that. However, this is my favourite and I have tried A LOT over the years from premium to cheapo. It is amazing - volume and length, doesn't flake, doesn't smudge and you can use eyelash curlers on it once it's dry and they're still nice and supple. People ask if I've got false lashes on when I've applied a few coats of this and my lashes look pretty much non-existent without mascara. Like most mascaras it gets better with a little age so stick with it if you have only just bought it - it might take a week to get it perfect - I think when you first buy them too much of the mascara comes out on the brush and once they've been used a few times it improves.

Appalling - just settles into pores, slides off and causes spots. Bought foundation brush at same time and tried to take it back to Liberty - NEVER EVER BUYING SHU U AGAIN - THEY DON'T EVEN DO REFUNDS ON UNOPENED ITEMS WITH RECEIPT. BRAINLESS UNPLEASANT CUSTOMER SERVICE
