Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Milk

This is the only colour for NYX's jumbo pencils I would use. I bought other colors but it's far too creamy for my oily lids & will start smudging after a few hrs. Needless to say, the lids look horrible with oily smudges of colour! Milk however is a different story. I use it as a base colour by dabbing it all over my lids (all the way up to the brow) & blend it out using my finger. Other eyeshadow colors "pop" on top of it. But if I'm feeling lazy. I just wear it on its on & it brightens the eyes beautifully. I will definitely repurchase milk.

Primer/ Corrector -Shu Uemura - UV Underbase Mousse SPF 30+

I bought this in beige and the whitening (purple can). After a few weeks of use, I very much prefer the beige mousse although the whitening formula does a great job of brightening up my complexion. The beige mousse on the other hand evens out the whole skin tone very naturally and if I'm feeling a little lazy, I will skip even the foundation and just pat on my loose powder. The mousse formula, although it liquefies when I dab my finger into it, is very light and easy to spread on the face. Just a small dollop of mousse is sufficient for the whole face and it does a brilliant job of keeping my makeup on throughout the day. I read a lot of reviews on the difficulties of dispensing the mousse.... Perhaps I'm lucky with my bottle, but I find it ok to control. I just need to depress it lightly (literally just a light dip) and a nice little dollop is dispensed.

Bought this after seein so many rave reviews on it. But it really didn't quite work for me. The scent is nice but it doesn;t seem to make my makeup last very much longer. Now, I use this as my day moisturiser instead and use Shu Uemura's UV underbase mouse and my make up goes on so much better and the staying power is also improved.

Initially I was concerned it would be too rich for my skin but I was pleasantly surprised. It is oily no doubt but it gets entirely absorbed into the skin in just like 30 seconds & the skin feels wonderfully hydrated & matte after that. I use it once every 2-3 nights and the next morning, my skin looks plumper & my pores visibly smaller. I usually use a whole capsule on my face & neck but it can still be a tad too much so I'll use the leftovers on the back of my hands too. Will definitely repurchase!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

Great mascara! Ive had mascaras that give only length, others give only volume satisfactorily. But this little magic wand gives both! It works even better than its sister - magnum volume express. The curved wand makes it very easy to apply and there is no clumping. Best of all, no smudging on the under eye after a 10hr day! Love the Falsies!

This product gives a very natural finish to my sparse brows. I like that it's in a convenient & portable felt tip pen as well. Like what other reviewers say, sometimes the color does suddenly come out slightly thicker but I just blend everything out with a small angled brush when that happens. My only gripe is I always have to wipe the tip down after every use as there tends to be some kind of waxy buildup which will affect the application of the product. (& I waste product wiping it down!). but until I find another product that gives me the same beautifully natural finish, I will stick with this one. UPDATE: I did find a better product - Shu Uemura's hard 9 brow pencil in Seal Brown (02). Never thought a pencil can give such a natural finish and the brown colour is a very natural colour that suits almost everbody.

It's a great pencil. All the 24/7 pencils are great! Beautiful bright colours, glides on like a dream and stays on all day. But I just don't know how to use this colour! Baked looked beautiful swatched on my skin but on the eyes, it just kinda disappears.... I had thought Binge would be a more difficult colour to wear but to my surprise, it was Baked that was tough. I would still get the 24/7 pencils, but just not in this colour.

Eye Shadow -Smashbox - smashing zoom

Recieved this in the mail yesterday and it has already become one of my fav colours! I don't find it as pigmented as my UD shadows so I do pack it on a bit for the colour to build up. But I suppose this is the beauty of it because it looks a subtle golden green which looks uber flattering! I touch it up with just a bit of Green Room at the outer corners of my eyes and my "green" look is complete. I always thought green was a tricky colour to wear until I discovered Zoom. Love it!

Mascara -Maybelline - Magnum Volum Express Waterproof Mascara

Again, this proves that Maybelline makes the best mascaras. Even my Dior Show cannot compare. The wand is a little unusual.,, It's like a boat - flat, curved and wide, if that makes sense. But it was easy to apply. The wand seperates my lashes nicely and it really does give volume & length. My pet peeve about mascaras is that even waterproof formulas smudges & gives me racoon eyes by mid day. But Maybelline mascaras never smudges. Just as a last note, I like Magnum way better than Stilleto as the latter only gives length but not volume. Magnum gives both. Will be sticking to Magnum for a loooooong time, until Maybelline comes up with an even better one :) Edit: & maybelline did have an even better one - the Falsies!

The most gorgeous olive gold colour I've seen and it glides on like a dream. Stays put even after the end of a 10 hr day, no smudging even on my oily lids. I only regret that I didn't discover this earlier. <3

What a beautiful colour!! It stays just as brilliantly blue at the end of a long 10 hr day. The pencil goes on like a dream and best of all, NO smudging on my oily lids! My best liner to date! <3

I don't know why I've lived with this for so long... It glides on smoothly enough but always smudges onto my bottom eye area by mid day. I always thought this is unavoidable because of my heavily hooded & oily lids. That is until I discovered urban decay's 24/7 eyeliner which glides on like a dream, colour stays just as brilliant at the end of a long workday, & best of all.... NO smudging!! Will be sticking to UD.

I caved in to all that hype & got the palette. My BEST shadow investment ever! The UDPP helped my shadows stay on all day and the colours are all so easy to wear & blend. I use virgin, sin, naked, hustle and dark horse most often and they create beautifully subtle smokey looks. Love the sleek suede packaging too!

When I'm not using my bb creams, I love to use this foundation. Its great for my dry combinition skin and gives a good medium coverage as well. The make-up is very lightweight (since it contains 40% water) and holds up very well. I've read many other reviews about this product oxidizing, thankfully I didn't have this problem but I still bought this in in 010 (Ivory) for my NC20 skintone just to be safe. The color blends out very naturally for me. When applied using either my MAC 187 or Sigma F80, I get a dewy air brushed finish which is absolutely lovely.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Gold Label

I've been using this BB cream, the face shop's extra BB cream and brtc jasmine water BB cream for a while now and I can safely say this is my favorite BB cream of all. I was initially concerned tha the greyish beige cream will make me look dark and dull. That was unfounded. The cream blends very nicely into my NC20 skin tone. Initially when I put it on, I wasn't overly impressed. It looked ok... Just ok. But after an hour or 2, it must have somehow melted or blended into my skin so well that the skin tone looks so even, the skin texture looks so much finer and smoother. I actually look like I've got really darn good skin! Only drawback (hence 4 lippies) is that even with my dry combi skin, it actually turned me very oily about midday, so I have to blot. But the skin looks fabulously smooth and fine after the blotting, even without powder touchup! So I can live with that. But for girls with oily combi skin, this may not be the best choice since it is rather rich.
