Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum

Bought this in ultra black and it's my new HG liquid eyeliner. Doesn't budge, completely waterproof and it most definitely stayed on after I napped for half the day without even the slightest budge. Great for sensitive eyes, the applicator is fine and not messy, pigmentation is really dark and it stays put foreeeeeeever. Definitely purchasing again. I will say that it was a pain in the ass finding this, literally went to SIX CVS's in the area and not one was carrying it. I had to travel out of town in order to find it, it was ridiculous! I'm afraid it's becoming so popular it'll be super hard to get ahold of it in the future :'(

Powder -Unlisted Brand - Asepxia - Powder Makeup
rated 4 of 5

so my (mexican) family has been ranting about these asepxia products being heaven-sent so I gave in and bought this compact at Walgreens. They're this huge deal in mexico and it's a powder that's marketed saying to sleep with it on so it gets rid of acne. I have personally not done this yet and don't plan on it because it's kind of icky to me... your skin needs to BREATHE through the night, not be suffocated with makeup but I digress. I bought this in the color "Natural Matte" and I'm a C5 in mac face and body, the undertone is completely red but somehow it works out because it makes me look kind of "sun-kissed" (how cheesy). The color options are the following: Claro Mate (Light Matte) suitable for really light skinned ladies with red undertones. Beige Claro (Light Beige) suitable for those same really light skinned ladies but with yellow undertones. Beige Mate (Beige Matte) suitable for literally "beige" tones up to NC40. Natural Mate (Natural Matte) suitable for anything darker than NC40 with red undertones but not too friendly with darker indian/african american skin tones. Matizante (Mattifier) translucent powder suitable for whoever wants to look gray and dull! (just kidding...I didn't actually see this color in person so I really have no clue what it looks like). ANYWAY FOR MY EXPERIENCE, I've used this for the past week and so far so good. I have really sensitive oily acne prone skin and this hasn't broken me out and hasn't clogged my pores despite having mineral oil as the third ingredient. It gives really good sheer to medium coverage without anything else on, doesn't look cakey and looks like your actual skin. I will go ahead and say that continuous use resulted in a bit of redness in the end because my skin is just so sensitive but i adored the matte finish and the fact that it kept me oil free and I never had to blot while wearing it. I plan on wearing it whenever I know I have a really long day ahead of me. The actual compact is really nice, it keeps the applicator sponge in a different compartment and it comes with a mirror. This is always amaaaaazing for touchups or getting ready on the go. The sponge sucks but the fact that this product is only 8 bucks at walgreens totally makes up for that! Just drop 3 more bucks on another set of sponges and get the most out of this! Applying this with a powder brush also works well and the product blends like a dream. I plan to update this in the future once I have been using it longer but I will go ahead and say that my niece (15 and has been dealing with that pesky teenage acne) has gone through two of these and her face looks really good, she claims the product dries up her zits after two days. Lastly, I do believe a lot of major cities in the US are carrying this. I am absolutely positive LA, Chicago, NYC, and major cities in Texas carry this in almost every drugstore.

Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser Cold Cream
rated 5 of 5

I've wasted a lot of money on makeup remover wipes and I got tired of drying my face out with them (because of all the alcohol!!!!) anyway, after reading allll the reviews on mua (literally, ALL OF THEM.) I went through with it and bought a small container of this. Totally worth the five bucks, removes your makeup completely and doesn't leave much residue. All you have to do is massage it into your skin for about a minute, use a kleenex or baby wipe and wipe of all the makeup softly. You don't need to rub much because it literally dissolves the makeup. I'm really skeptical about it removing it all the first time so I always go over it a second time only to feel stupid because there's seriously no makeup left on my face, one time is enough! I have really acne prone, oily, sensitive skin and this has yet to break me out. I have regular hormonal breakouts and my skin is really touchy but seriously this hasn't done ANYTHING to upset my skin. I use it daily whether it's just to remove eye makeup remover or a full face of makeup (foundation, powder, blush, concealer) and it gets eeeeverything off. I follow with my regular cleanser (clean and clear's deep action cream cleanser) and then go over my face with my homemade apple cider vinegar toner. My face feels neither dry nor oily and it most definitely leaves my face feeling clean. Will continue repurchasing for sure. I will say that.......I absolutely despise the packaging BUT I manage to get the product out without having to stick my fingers in the product.

Concealers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Concealer
rated 5 of 5
Monseter 5/5/2013 11:36:00 PM

I used this for a year in "correcting yellow" and holy crap did it give me that coveted kim kardashian look. (Well........I mean as kim k as III could look, you know?) Anyway it never ever ever broke me out, didn't look unnatural and it cost me like 1.25 on sale. I have really oily lids and suuuuuper sensitive acne prone skin and it worked really well for me. Highlighted the parts of my face that needed it and never smudged or creased like other concealers have.

Cleansers -Purpose - Gentle Cleansing Wash
rated 3 of 5
Monseter 4/28/2013 1:36:00 PM

used this for a while and swore by it but after about a month or two, I started getting really deep cystic pimples. Not pretty. Not to mention that it didn't do absolutely anything to remove makeup and my face never felt clean! It also dried out my face which in return made my face overproduce oil making me extra oily.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
rated 2 of 5
Monseter 4/25/2013 1:24:00 PM

used this after I had an allergic reaction and couldn't put absolutely anything on my face, the doctor recommended this but honestly I didn't feel like it did anything to help. Left a film on my skin and it was way too pricey. Made me really oily and my face never felt clean. Ended up giving it away.

Lips -E.L.F. - E.L.F. Essential Lip Stain - Crimson Crush
rated 5 of 5
Monseter 4/21/2013 12:14:00 PM

Purchased this yesterday at target for 2 dollars and so far so good! It makes my lips nice and dark but at the same time it's not dramatic because it's really matte. It doesn't last forever so longevity isn't great BUT the pigmentation is amazing. Will most definitely purchase more colors in the future.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
rated 5 of 5
Monseter 4/21/2013 11:38:00 AM

might be too soon to start raving but HOLY SH**! I've been using this for two days and my skin's redness is almost completely gone and the two pimples I had have been pretty much dried out! It smells absolutely terrible but I'm willing to trade smell for bright skin and little to no rosacea!! Other toners dry me out really bad which in return causes painful cystic pimples but this makes my face feel clean and refreshed. I will be sure to update in two weeks and then in a month. Price wise, it was fairly cheap! 3 bucks for the vinegar (organic section, on sale) and then I bought a cute waterbottle for a dollar and then poured out about 1/4 of the water and filled it with vinegar. It looks pretty diluted but I think that's alright because it's not as harsh on my sensitive skin. Another thing is that I've shoved that sucker in the refrigerator so the smell isn't as harsh. UPDATE 5/5/2013: I've been using this for two weeks and I'm still ranting about it. My face isn't COMPLETELY clear yet but it has gotten rid of break outs for the most part, skin is still not as oily as it was in the past and if i get a new break out I can pretty much count on it to be gone after a day or two of using this. I read up on ACV as much as I could and I read that it can get rid of blisters... my boyfriend managed to get one after mowing the lawn the other day and I used a cotton swab to put a good amount of acv on a band-aid for him overnight and by the next morning his blister was gone! I also used it to brush my teeth one day (two drops, soo gross) but it really made my teeth a little whiter and my teeth felt REALLY clean!!

Primer/ Corrector -I-Iman - Under Cover Agent Oil Control Lotion
rated 2 of 5
Monseter 4/14/2013 10:53:00 PM

this is one of those really heavy siliconey primers. Doesn't do very much for oil control, you can slather as much silicone on your face as you want in order to prevent oil and block the crap out of your pores but it still won't stop oil production. Honestly, the price isn't even all that good, for three more dollars get a mac primer, which are just as silicone filled but they also provide OIL CONTROL!!!!!!!! Anyway, the packaging was okay, I went through one of these and towards the end I could tell there was still a good amount of product in there but I couldn't get to it unless I cut open the container (who has time or patience for that?) The pump was alright but as I said, it doesn't come in too handy towards the end. I will admit, you do get a really good amount of product for the price but for the most part you're purchasing this for oil-control (hello, it's in the name!) and if it doesn't do just that... then what's the point? I did end up buying a second container of it and I just found it after three years and it's completely full. What a waste of 20 dollars. For the record I have oily sensitive acne prone skin (worst combination ever) and this ended up breaking me out because of how thick and heavy it is.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Moisture Sensitive Skin
rated 2 of 5
Monseter 4/14/2013 9:39:00 PM

Broke me out every time. I've suckered myself into buying this three or four times and every time it just ends up breaking me out. It's an okay moisturizer but definitely not for those with acne-prone skin. I'm pretty sure the breakouts could also be caused by the sunscreen in the product. I reallyreallyreallyREALLY do like the pump though and I like how clean the bottle looks. Something about it is just so cute to me, that's why I kept falling for it haha.

Moisturizers -Yes To Carrots - Yes to Cucumbers Facial Hydrating Lotion
rated 1 of 5
Monseter 4/14/2013 9:35:00 PM

Got this at walgreens on sale one day, I was so excited to be getting it for FOUR DOLLARS!! I gave it a week but it ended up breaking me out horribly. It made me extra oily and it smelled pretty terrible. I forced my boyfriend to use it a couple of times (he has normal skin and never breaks out) and it gave him two or three pimples within the first two days of him using it as well. I will say that I really liked the packaging!

Liquid -Cover Girl - Clean Makeup Oil Control
rated 1 of 5
Monseter 4/14/2013 9:31:00 PM

my boyfriend bought me this about two years ago, wore it twice and I broke out in really horrible cystic acne. At the time, I wasn't even acne prone and had generally good skin. Didn't make me oily or anything, just really clogged the hell out of my pores. The color was okay and the price was right but the packaging sucks and the product was the absolute worst.

Eye Makeup Remover -H20 - water-activated eye make-up remover
rated 5 of 5
Monseter 4/6/2013 1:47:00 PM

HG makeup remover. Bought at TJ MAXX for four bucks. Super gentle on my sensitive skin, gets all the makeup off. All you have to do is apply it, wet your hands, massage your eyes to loosen the makeup and then rinse it off. I've even used it a few times as foundation remover and it totally works. I'm on my second tube of it and I already have another one just sitting around because I'm afraid of running out!
