If you like racoon eyes, this is the mascara for you! Seriously, I liked everything about this mascara until I saw myself in the mirror a few hours after application. Half of it ended up under my eyes!!! How disappointing because it actually lengthened and volumized quite well and didn't clump. It was meeting all my mascara needs until the racoon eyes. Thank goodness it was just a free sample from Sephora and I actually didn't pay for this product! I tried it several times and the result was the same. Back I go to my cheapie drugostre mascara (CG lash blast).
I'm not sure why I waited until my bottle almost runs out to write a review .. perhaps because this is the first time I used up a whole bottle of perfume! At last, I have found my signature scent and it was all by chance too. I purchased this at an airport duty free shop in Europe last summer. It had just come out and the sales girl was highly recommending it. Normally, it takes me weeks of sampling a scent to commit to a bottle.. but I bought this on a total whim. I'm so glad I did! This scent has the perfect balance of crispness and warmth, which means it works well for any season. The drydown made makes me fall in love with it over and over. My scarf smells amazing from it. I agree with reviewers describing this as an "expensive" or "uptown" scent.. but at the same time, it's totally unoffensive and approachable. Anyone can wear it IMO.
Styling Products -Charles Worthington - Big Hair Great Body Styling Spray

With hairspray bottles, names like big hair usually catch my attention because besides hold, I also seek volume for my fine hair. Purchasing this one however, was a mistake. I barely use it. It gives some volume.. but also stickiness. The major problem for me is the strong, cloying scent. It is so overpowering that I have to leave the bathroom immediately after spraying my hair. Needless to say, on to the next brand..
Shampoo -L'Oreal - Vive Pro Nutri Gloss Normal to Fine Hair

I think Nutrigloss for Fine hair has become my HG shampoo. It just became available in Canada a couple months ago but after hearing the good things about it, I bought a bottle when I was in Europe over the summer. I'll never forget the impression it made after the first time I used it! It gave my fine/flat hair a bit of a lift.. not making it look thicker or anything but just kind of airy and flowy, if that makes sense. It also makes my hair shinier and healthier looking. That's reason enough for me to keep on using this product. I am a bit concerned about build up so I don't use it on every wash.
I like that it's a rose scent but not a flat one, it's a got a nice musky drydown. I'm not good at describing scents but I gravitate to this one because it's not an overpowering floral and it's got this softness to it which I love, especially on the drydown. The lastnight power is not bad either. I had this on my left wrist and Victor & Rolf's Flowerbomb on my right.. at the end of the day it was the left one I wanted to sniff more. I will very likely purchase this for my fall/winter scent.
Like many have mentioned, this is a good day-time mascara because it looks natural and leaves lashes quite soft. After finishing up my tube of Diorshow, this was quite the change! Definately NOT the mascara to go to for the va va voom lashes but it does the job if you want a simple, no clumping mascara that stays on all day without any sort of flaking. I noticed that with this one, I need to apply more coats than usual to get the desired volume. However, it's also nice to have the flexibility to build up as needed without getting clumpy. It is a bit on the runny side so the application takes some mastery to avoid smudging and getting it all over the eyelid. I wouldn't mind repurchasing but probably won't... so many mascaras out there, so little time!!
I think this is my first ever review for a shampoo.. I liked this shampoo so much I just had to share. I picked it up on sale and wasn't expecting much but to my surprise it out-performed most of the shampoos in my bathroom (and there's quite a few). It makes my fine, highlighted hair soft, manageble and gives it a bit of oomph. It's not the most volumizing shampoo I've used but with the right styling products, I still get the desired effect. The scent is very subtle and doesn't linger. As others have mentioned, the packaging is not the greatest. The bottles look sleek and cute but because they are so thin, they also tend to flip over easily in the bath tub.
Conditioner -TiGi - Bed Head Self Absorbed Conditioner

For some reason, when I first started using this conditioner, I thought it was nothing to write home about.. even a bit disappointing as it is pricey and I wasn't seeing any difference in my hair. I found the half-used bottle today and thought to give it another go after several months went by.. and wow, I love how my hair feels right now! It left my highlighted, dry and fine hair very smooth and soft. I also noticed a shine that I rarely see.I don't know why the results are so different this time .. perhaps it has to do with shampoo I used. I don't remember which one I was using before (I think it was Dumb Blonde) but today I just used Dove (moisturizing). As for the creamsicle smell, I kinda like it.. it's an unusal scent for hair products. I took off one lippie for the high price and also poor packaging. I hate the way TiGi packages their shampoos and condioners b/c the products are often thick and the bottles can't be squeezed. One of my bottles ended breaking.
Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover

Surprisingly.. not impressed! I remember using this remover a long time ago and that it was a pretty effective product. However, I never purchased it because of its high price. There are plenty of good eye-makeup removers out there for dirt cheap. I was excited though to get this in as GWP recently since I just ran out of my latest one (Red Earth). I used it a few days now and I'm beginning to wonder if the formulation has changed. For me, this does not remove all the makeup! For instance, last night I removed my mascara with it and then hopped in the shower only to come out with racoon eyes! What is up with that? I'm also not crazy about the oily film it leaves. I find after using this, I have to go over it with my Cetaphil cleanser just to get everything off! Not good. The only good thing about this product is that it's gentle.
I got the Night cream version of the Line Peel cream as GWP. This is intended for dry skin and being normal-combination, I used this only when my skin was feeling dry during the winter. It IS a rather heavy-feeling product so it might work better for those with really dry skin. No breakouts but there is a slight tingle feeling after putting this on so it may not be recommended for sensitive skins. Seeing that I'm 25 and don't really need wrinkle care yet, I just didn't see difference from trying this product. I've tried other Biotherm moisturisers and this one has been my least favourite to date.
Ever tried a new product and dismissed it, but then some time passes, you try it again and realize that your first impression was totally wrong?? Well, that's exactly how I feel about this product! I first tried from a little sample I received in a magazine and I wanted to like it cause I liked the smell, the color and all that. However, it just didn't seem to do anything for my skin and I even thought it caused a few small spots on my usually clear skin. Recently though I saw Happyderm on sale and needed a new moisturizer so I thought I'd give it another try. I'm so glad I did! I've been using it consistently every morning and my skin is thanking me for it. No breakouts, no dryness.. just smooth, soft and glowy skin. The packaging is great and I really like how the pump just needs a twist to lock... nice and hygienic. I usually go for two pumps instead of one because this is non-greasy so I like to massage it in generously. I'm very likely to buy this again.
This was my first real (expensive) fragrance purchase.. I remember getting it when I was 17 and wearing it everyday. After some time I got really tired of this scent though and now I won't go near it. I don't know what it really was that turned me off so much..
This fragrance is totally unique.. really unlike any I've tried before and because of that, I was ready to write it off and forget about it after trying it out in the store. Then as the day went on, I just couldn't stop smelling my wrist. I was amazed at how well Summer blended into my skin. I realized that for the first time I was wearing a perfume that didn't smell like perfume at all. To me it smelled like the warmth and innocence... the warmth of sunny summer days with a slight hint of baby oil. I'll be buying this scent for next summer and I can't wait.
I wanted to like this.. the name, the packaging, the color were all good indicators. A friend of mine had this and I liked it on her so I decided to give it a shot as well. It turns out that it's just not the scent for me. For some reason, it's headache inducing so I have returned.
There aren't many fragrances that I particularly don't like.. but this one has has something about it that I just can't stand. I wish I could put my finger on it but it's just not a fragrance I like. My friend used to wear it all the time and it drove me nuts. I find it to be way too old-lady and way too offensive.
