I only gave this one a three, mainly because it wears off quite fast and has a funky plastic smell IMO. It does have a "soft silver" frost as the name implies. It is a fun color to wear, but not my everyday sort of thing for sure. You've definitely got to be into the frosty look to love this one. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, but most likely will not purchase it again. Also, I've put up a pic since no one had yet. I'm wearing Revlon colorstay foundation in 150 buff for reference. No lip liner.
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin

I've tried this in Buff/150, the combo/oily formula. The spf is very low, but I already use a moisturizer with spf so it wasn't an issue for me. The smell doesn't bother me at all, (some people don't like it.) I wished so badly that it was packaged in a pump bottle, so I just got one off of ebay for cheap. works like a charm and they're refillable. It does set pretty fast, so I work in small sections with the sonia kashuk "synthetic flat blusher" brush with good results. The foundation is really a challenge to get out of the brush, and I found I had to clean it more often, otherwise the application efficiency goes down really fast and it starts not looking quite right. It's fantastic coverage for the redness and acne scars I have, almost makes me look like I have flawless skin (I still have trouble with the more difficult cystic acne, which is expected.) As for getting it off my face, I've never had a problem with it when I'm using olay foaming face wash for sensitive skin.
This was my first MAC lipstick purchase, and after having it for a couple months I don't know how I lived without it! It has a nice smell, it feels lovely on my lips, it's easy to apply, I never worry about needing a mirror for this one. My lips are quite pigmented, so I can wear this by itself, or by toning my lips down first with foundation. Both ways it is absolutely lovely. Also, the money goes to a great cause, so it's definitely a 'win-win' in my book.
Took me a little while to figure out how to wear this and have it look nice. I definitely have to do quite a bit of prep; I exfoliate and load up on the lip balm the night before I know I want to wear this so my lips are really supple. My lips are quite pigmented already, so I use the foundation trick (I use Revlon colorstay) letting it set a little, then apply one or two swipes of lipstick. If I skip the foundation step, it's not pretty and I end up going back to redo. So it's a little work, but overall good results :)
I do like this for the color, it is a nice, warm peachy/pink color. The smell is not at all pleasing in my opinion, and it feels quite dry. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, but will probably not buy again.
