Pros - creamy - decent coverage Cons - dry Comments: I use the lightest shade for highlighting and it works well. It's a very creamy, thick forumula that offers good coverage. It is the complete opposite of the foundation. It is a little on the dry side, but I like it. Will repurchase.
Shade description: bright red coral Pros - pigmented - long wearing - gives pretty glow Cons - leans very red Comments: I'm shocked I don't love this. I like it, but I'm not crazy about it. It's not a true coral or orange on my skin, rather...very red. It's highly pigmented but still comes off red even when I use a light hand. I love the glow it gives my skin, but the color...not so much. Will not repurchase.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Le Gloss in Rosy Demeanor
MissLerina 6/16/2013 8:39:00 PM
Shade description: bright yellow pink Pros - pigmented - moisturizing - scent Cons - packaging (lettering wears off) Comments: Viva Glam Nicki anyone? This, and NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches n Cream are great dupes for that gloss. It's so pretty! I love bright yellow pinks like this and it just pairs so well with my lipsticks. Love the formula of these - very moisturizing and not sticky at all. I hope these new shades are permanent! Will repurchase.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Le Gloss in Florid Pink
MissLerina 6/16/2013 8:36:00 PM
Shade description: mauve pink Pros - not sticky - moisturizing Cons - packaging (lettering wears off) - sheer Comments: This is a sheer mauve pink, but if you dab it on rather than swiping you get better color payoff. It's a nice shade that will go great with many of my lipsticks. I like that it's a cream finish and very moisturizing. These are definitely one of my favorite drugstore glosses. I also love the sweet vanilla scent of these. Will repurchase.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Le Gloss in Pucker Up Pink
MissLerina 6/16/2013 8:32:00 PM
Shade description: sheer pink with purple iridescence Pros - moisturizing - not sticky - scent Cons - packaging (lettering always wears off) Comments: I thought this was going to be your typical shimmery pink, but it goes on clear with such pretty purple iridescence! It's great layered over a pink lipstick. I love the formula of these and hope these latest shades are permanent. Will repurchase.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche in I Pink You're Cute
MissLerina 6/16/2013 8:25:00 PM
Shade description: bright yellow pink Pros - creamy - pigmented - long wearing Cons - scent Comments: If you thought Viva Glam Nicki was too much, give this one a try. It's a subtle verison of it. It doesn't have that neon aspect, but still a bright yellow pink with hints of coral. Such a pretty color and I'll definitely be getting backups! I found this particiular shade to be more creamy than other shades I've tried from this line. Looks great paired with their new gloss in Rosy Demeanor. I always have to dock off a point, though because of the way these smell/taste. Will repurchase.
Shade description: bright purple pink Pros - creamy - pigmented - long wearing Cons - scent Comments: This is a pretty color. It's almost a barbie pink, but suited for medium skintones. I can see this looking great on anyone, though. Pigmentation is great with a creamy formula, but not necessarily moisturizing. I just wish they would change the way these things smell! Will repurchase.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche in Ballerina Shoes
MissLerina 6/16/2013 8:18:00 PM
Shade description: frosty baby pink Pros - creamy - pigmented Cons - frosty - scent Comments: This is a new one and a bad one. It's very frosty. What more can I say about it? It has that typical smell that all the Colour Riche lipsticks have, which I hate. The colors usually make up for it, but not this one. It just wasn't flattering at all. Will not repurchase.
Shade selected: medium/deep (I'm an NC37 for reference) Pros - light to medium coverage - satin finish - stays on - SPF - lightweight Cons - very runny consistency - does not control oil more than 4 hours Comments: This is a pretty good foundation (which is what it is). It's lightweight, covers well, has a good amount of product, and stays put in warm weather. It has a very runny consistency, so store this upside down and you'll be fine. It doesn't offer much oil control (an hour less than most foundations for me), but won't stop me from using it. Will repurchase.
Shade description: bright fuchsia Pros - creamy - pigmented - long wearing Cons - scent Comments: This is a very intense shade of fuchsia - very bright and pigmented. It is very wearable, though as it's not a barbie shade. It stains the lips a bit, so staying power isn't an issue. The only thing I don't like is the watermelon jolly rancher scent. It's very overwhelming, but thankfully it disappers once on the lips (it does taste bad, though). Overall, a great shade...but if you want a closer dupe to Candy Yum Yum check out Maybelline's Fuchsia Flash. You can also do what I do and pair this shade on top of a concealer. I think it looks more fun this way. Will repurchase. Will repurchase.
Selected shades: cherry cheesecake (orange), maple blondie (yellow pink), merengue (lilac pink), peaches n cream (bubble gum pink) Pros - creamy - pigmented - not sticky - moisturizing Cons - none Comments: Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. I absolutely love these and definitely want more. They feel very comfortable on - very creamy and moisturizing. The consistency is on the thick side and offers buildable pigmentation. They have a great shade selection as well. I don't have anything bad to say about these. I can't comment on longevity because I don't wear them on their own (although they're pigmented enough that you can). These have quickly become my favorite drugstore glosses. Will repurchase.
Selected shades: candy land (bright bubble gum pink), dolly girl (bright fuchsia), natural (peachy nude), nude peach fuzz (bright pastel pink), pinky nude (hot pink) Pros - pigmented - long wearing - moisturizing Cons - can exaggerate dry lips - scent Comments: I have been passing these up for a while, but so glad I changed my mind. They're incredibly opaque and only need one swipe. Very creamy on the lips, but can still accentuate any dry areas. It wears well, but I would consider this more of a lipstick. It doesn't have enough shine to be considered much of a gloss as it's more of a satin finish, almost matte. Natural is the perfect nude for my olive complexion, Nude Peach Fuzz is a pale bright pastel pink with yellow tones, Dolly Girl/Pinky Nude/Candy Land are pretty bright pinks. Really love these. Will repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural
MissLerina 5/27/2013 6:24:00 PM
Shade description: nude mauve Pros - moisturizing - not sticky Cons - sheer - less product than original line Comments: I like this. It goes well with my nude lipsticks. It's sheer, but unlike other shades I own there's some color deposit on my lips. It's a very MLBB shade. Love the formula - very moisturizing and not sticky. The consistency is also much thinner. These new shades remind me of L'Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss. Overall, I wish they hadn't messed with the original line. The pigmentation is lacking and you're getting less product now. This particular shade compliments a lot of my nude lipsticks and does offer some color when worn on its own, so I'll keep this one. Will repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pango Peach
MissLerina 5/27/2013 6:19:00 PM
Shade description: peachy pink Pros - moisturizing - high shine - not sticky Cons - sheer - glitter residue left on lips - less product than original line Comments: Well, it's not 'coral reef'. This is basically a clear gloss with shimmer on my lips. I'm just not impressed with these new shades. I love the formula - very moisturizing and not sticky at all. The consistency is also much thinner. They feel fantastic on, but the pigmentation of these new shades...suck! They're nowhere near as opaque as the original. I could wear the origjnal shades on their own, but I can't with these new shades. They're just not worth paying for when it's basically just a little shimmer on my lips. Will not repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm
MissLerina 5/21/2013 7:59:00 PM
Selected shade: haute pink twist (barbie pink) Pros - pigmented - long wearing Cons - not glossy - drying Comments: Pretty shade. I love my pinks, but this is more of a lipstick. It isn't glossy nor moisturizing, though it feels like a balm at first. The drying aspect and the finish are easily fixed with a gloss or balm. The packaging needs improvement as the stick breaks very easily even with a light hand. I like it, though. I can work with it. Will repurchase.
