Masks -Shiseido - Benefiance - firming massage mask

I love this mask. Such a treat for my skin. I apply this using Shiseido's facial massage method. Love the scent, love the texture. Totally worth the price.
This is a wonderful, natural shade on my NW15 (quite neutral, actually) skin. I wanted a "nude" type of blush, and the MAC SA rec'd this. I reach for this often as a solid, anchor cheek color. It's a healthy, realistic color that I think would work well on most medium-to-fair skintones. Give it a try!
Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum

Yes, it's pricey, but this product truly makes my lashes long and thick. It coats the lashes nicely, and I wait a few seconds before applying my mascara. My lashes seem to be in good condition lately, and I'll attribute that to this primer. Before this, I used Shiseido's lash primer, and it was nice, but this really give my lashes OOMPH--lengthwise and volume-wise. Highly recommend that you at least give this a try.
I read the hype about this being from Julia Roberts' hair stylist, Serge Normant. Saw others loving the other products from his line. Read the description of this being a "sensual" all-over spray, nice for the hair too. Ordered it on a good sale from an online store. I fully anticipated loving this. Sprayed some on my wrist and was immediately transported to my dear grandparents' bathroom as a child--wrapped in the smell of my grandfather's Old Spice cologne mixed with hard water, steel mill exhaust, and toothpaste. I was in complete denial. Waited for it to blend with my skin and transform into the promised beauty. But no. By bedtime, I had to wash this off and take some Advil. Absolute scrubber. Don't believe the hype, don't buy unsniffed. As for his dry hair oil, Serge Normant has a beautiful product with a wonderful scent (which is completely different from this edp).
Toners -Juju Aquamoist - Juju Aquamoist Moisture Lotion

Great, moisturizing base for my skin. Because it's a liquid, it absorbs quickly and the hyaluronic acid really does help my skin to hold onto the moisture. I usually apply right after washing my face. I love that this is not greasy or drying. Works on all areas of face and neck. I can add moisturizer on the areas that need it, but this doesn't make the more oily areas (t-zone) at all greasy. My skin feels very comfortable after I use this "lotion". I would highly recommend this.
Moisturizers -Sephora - Age Defy Moisture Cream SPF 15

Decent product for the price. Provides nice moisturizing. Scent is fresh and pretty. I love the jar--it looks like higher end packaging. The problem I have is that it balls up on me throughout the day. Can't stand that--and ruins my makeup application. So, I'm going to use it up--applying only to my neck & decollete. Will not repurchase.
Treatments (Eye) -Sephora - Sephora Age Defy Eye Cream

Wanted to like it--decently priced. But it felt thick and sticky. Couldn't wear it under makeup--it balled up and made a mess. Had to return.

This is a nice moisturizer. I like its scent, so that's a plus for me--sensitive types might not like it as it's a bit strong. UPDATE: I just finished my 1st jar of this cream and purchased my second from Sephora. I had stopped using it during the warmer months, then forgot I had it. Recently went back to it and boy, I realize how nice this stuff is for the price. I wake up with smooth, plumped, evenly-toned skin when I use this. This is a great buy.

I have coarse, thick, grey hair which I have dyed professionally every 4 weeks. My hair texture is CRAZY. This stuff is HG for me. My hair can handle the heaviness of this conditioner--no problem. It leaves my hair soft and easy to style. And, as it promises, this conditioner truly preserves my color. When I use this, my color stays rich. If I use any other conditioner, there is fading. I love this stuff and have been buying backups from TJ Maxx and Marshalls whenever I find it--otherwise this would run me into the poorhouse. It's so wonderful that I would pay full price. I hope they don't discontinue this!

A wonderful "softener" for the skin. Does not strip the skin. I try not to put heavy creams around my eyes, and I use this after cleanser--even on eyelids & undereye--and don't feel the need to apply creams overnight to eye area. Perfect hydration. Very gentle. Love the scent, too!
I use OCM for makeup removal, (Origins Clean Energy), but still want to follow up with a cleanser. My skin is combination, not overly sensitive. I like this product, but the smell turns me off. I just don't care for it at all. This gets my skin clean, is not overly drying--works great. Just don't like the scent. Sadly, I won't repurchase because of this.
Masks -Origins - Dr. Weil Mega Mushroom Skin-Calming Face Mask
MissChatelaine 3/13/2011 11:46:00 PM
Saw this on Lisa Eldridge's YouTube video about skincare. It does help to soothe and calm my skin when I've done a little too much to it. Like other reviewers, I found using a regular tissue to remove it felt a bit rough. Whipped out my Shiseido cotton pads and THAT'S THE TICKET...they're so much smoother and make removing the mask a very comfortable experience. (I love those pads--get them-they're worth it). This mask is all about comfort for your skin, so don't ruin the experience with a rough cloth.
Eyeliner -MAC - Desires & Devices (Superslick Liquid Eye Liner)

This stuff lasts and lasts and lasts. Does not budge--I don't have to worry about this wearing off, so my eyes look fresh on the days I use this. This color is great (I have green eyes, and this looks so nice--the shimmer gives a glowy effect that looks great along the lashline.) The applicator is easy to use to make a line. Remember to shake this up before applying.
You would think this is just a gimmick. Yeah, a mascara just for my bottom lashes. But it really works. The little brush is perfect for reaching those bottom lashes. The formula doesn't transfer underneath my eye. It's worth it. I just ran out of mine and am going to purchase another. I won't be without this as long as they sell it.
Yes, will definitely buy again! This concealer in 001 (Ivory) is a good match on my NW15 skin. I have puffiness and slight darkness around my eyes--this covers well and brightens. I guess my undereye area is getting more sensitive as I get older--this feels very soothing, which is just what I was looking for. Great job with this, Dior!
