Beautiful! I initially didn't like this fragrance - I was excited to smell it upon learning that there is a new chanel les exclusifs fragrance coming out even though i read it contains lavendar. I am not a fan of lavender - i hate the smell and when I went to test this fragrance I did not like it because the first thing you smell is lavender. The SA also sprayed the fragrance on a card for me which I kept in my bag. i went to wash off the smell on my skin. However I kept the tester card in a book i've read and the book smells heavenly! I really started to like this. The lavender in this fragrance is not that headache-y lavender you get in the lavender room sprays or hand lotions that suffocates you, its a rather soft clean lavender - quite soothing and the lavender note doesnt last forever... After that it leaves you with that beautifully rounded soft vanilla smell with a fresh flowery note. Soft, sweet and fresh all at the same time, its absolutely heavenly (the smell I got from my book). I have been wearing this for almost a week everyday since I got it (which rarely happens - only with no5 before). I cant get enough of this fragrance ... I am in love with the drydown. I wish it lasted longer, but it is infact an EDT not an EDP. I MIGHT even like this more than no5!! I adore this fragrance and it might just become my new signature fragrance. I will keep on repurchasing this perfume... dont think I can do without it in my collection. LOVE LOVE LOVE it <3
Very lovely fragrance as can be expected of Chanel - created initially in 1926. This is like a fresher and soapier version of no5 with added sandalwood, gingerbread accord and a TINY bit of incense that was in no22. This is great fragrance and definitely one of the best in the Les Exclusifs line. I really love this fragrance for autumn and maybe for winter too, although i'd wear no5 and coco for winter. This is a very elegant soapy sandalwood scent. Like a previous reviewer said, Bois des Iles does for sandalwood what no5 does for jasmine... I completely agree. I will DEFINITELY repurchase this fragrance - no doubt! :)
My favorite from the 3 Les Escales fragrances <3 I love the polynesian tiare flower note in this fragrance and the subtle citrus note in it too. Its a perfect flowery fragrance for summer! It smells tropical too in a good way, not in a fruity sugar candy fragrance way. Its refreshing and clean with a flowery essence to it. I'm really liking this fragrance and wish it wasnt limited edition. Will have to use sparingly. LOVE it...
Portofino.. Italy... This is the fragrance I liked least out of the 3 Escales but I purchased it anyway. I found that burst of citrus refreshing and fitting for summer, however the citrus is a bit masculine for my taste - im afraid people will think im wearing a men's perfume. Its very cologne like. Its not a bad fragrance, its just too strong a citrus for me. I think this would smell amazing on a man! If I had a boyfriend I would've loved this on him.

Out of the 3 Escales, this is the one I wanted at first. I was completely in love with the black tea note in the perfume. Its unique, or maybe I have not smelled a perfume before with a black tea note in it. Its like a little part of India... for summer (for winter I'd suggest chanel nr 22 - with the incense note, it smells like India). I love this spicy fresh tea smell - i really like this perfume! I would not wear it every day, but I do like it alot and will keep enjoying it on those days I feel like it until it runs out (too bad its limited edition). I will use mine sparingly :)

I am not really into fruity fragrances, I prefer floral. I have 1 other fruity fragrance (DKNY Be Delicious) but its to common and everyone uses it. The first time I smelled this I was like "yummy!!". This is definitely the most delicious yummiest fruity fragrance ever and this is probably the ONLY fruity fragrance that I love. Its delicious! I cant keep smelling my wrists. I smell mostly guava and a little grapefruit. Its like a fruit cocktail on your skin and it does not even smell artificial. Really nice perfume for the price. I love this and I might repurchase when im finished with this big bottle - if they still make it. The lasting power isn't that good, but its an EDT plus having this huge bottle you can spray to heart's content. This is my first and only fruity fragrance i adore this much <3
This is a lovely fragrance - flowery, fresh, a little woodiness, but very elegant! And for this price for a 100ml bottle, its quite nice. It can be a unisex fragrance too - if I was a man i'd wear it on those carefree days. This fragrance is perfect for office wear or casual days - its soft and smell elegant. I might have mistaken this for a chanel :) I would repurchase this - but not soon, this 100ml bottle will last me a long time. I'm glad I tested this when I went to buy the nr3 from the same D&G line. This is understated elegance for those on a tight budget.

I love Pure White Linen ... and I went to test this fragrance. I loved the smell at first, like PWL with cherry blossoms :) I purchased this fragrance - especially since its Limited Edition and that there was only 1 small bottle left so I got it... Its a lovely fragrance, but I am a bit disappointed to learn how articial the cherry blossom note smells and after a while that cherry note goes strong and sodapop on me - really not nice. But this fragrance is quite pretty. But i wont be getting a "backup", its not love...
This is a very lovely fragrance. Its a very fresh, clean cotton smell, like freshly washed linen... I love the clean "just showered" smell of this fragrance. This is perfect for those days when you want to smell CLEAN and fresh not like you are wearing perfume- but obviously soap wont make you smell this good all day long. This is what I will use to smell clean and fresh especially in summer. LOVE it... Will definately repurchase.
I was never interested in original Sensuous... not that it was bad, it was just too spicy and woody to me. I also am not a fan of sugarsweet fragrances... When I smelled Sensuous Nude, i actually really liked it! its not as spicy and woody as Sensuous with a a little sweetness to it, but in a really nice way. I like this fragrance, its very lovely, however I am a bit disappointed in the longevity/staying power... for that reason I will not buy it again - but I love this fragrance for the autumn time and maybe even for spring - for that lovely sweetness :)
I love this MAC eyeshadow. Its my favorite mac colour and i do own alot of mac eyeshadows. Its also the only one i have repurchased. My previous one isnt finished yet but almost there :) i use this colour the most! i have dark brown eyes with golden skin. I found that purple eyeshadows really bring out my eyes and i love how this one has gold flecks in it to make my eyes pop more as the normal purples i have may start to look too dark especially during the day. I will definitely keep repurchasing this. LOVE IT!
This is one of my sis in law's favorite perfumes. I owned this perfume years ago - bought it shortly after it came out. During that time I just started buying fragrances and were quite young, most of the ladies in my family bought Elizabeth Arden and Estee Lauder, so my choices were also limited to those 2 houses. And i loved the ad about "Men will Melt". Which is true... men love this perfume! I did received alot of compliments on this perfume. However I've moved on from this perfume, I stopped wearing it and then again remember I had it and started wearing it to work (where men complimented me on this smell) and finished my bottle. I started liking high-end perfumes like Gucci and Armani etc... But this year while looking for a birthday gift for a friend I purchased this one, because its "safe". She loved it!! She kept telling me what a gorgeous perfume it is and how she loved the smell. So when my sis in law's birthday came up i purchased two bottles ( one for me and one for my sis in law). The price is quite cost-effective because its cheap and the perfume last really long - you can still smell it at the end of the day. its lovely, its not too sweet, its fruity in a really yummy way and its smell sooo nice. I like it! its something you'd wear everyday, to work or at home, but i dont think its a "special occassions" perfume. But nice
This is my first L'Occitane fragrance purchase. I smelled this on a lady who swapped it on her wrist from a miniature fragrance she had in her purse and i caught a whiff of it - and loved the smell... I asked her what she was wearing and she gave me some to put on my wrist. Let me start by saying I love flowery or powdery fragrances and I definitely love Rose smelling perfumes. Rose is such a romantic flower and im a romantic person at heart. I have 2 other rose perfumes: D&G Rose the one (lovely and fruity) and Stella Sheer (I only smell Rose - lovely, but quite synthetic and sharp). L'Occitane's Rose 4 Reines is LOVELY! its the most beautiful rose fragrance i have ever smelled! I absolutely love it... it does not smell synthetic AT ALL, its smells like real roses, like it have just been picked and juiced from a rose garden. It is complex too, as it doesn't smell like 1 rose, it contains 4 roses: the Grasse rose, the Bulgarian rose, the Moroccan rose and the Turkish rose. Its absolutely beautiful, I definitely recommend it. Im the first to review this... i hope others will try this out! Im sure anyone who loves the smell of roses will love this fragrance. Im a perfume junkie and have so many, so I will have to use up my other perfumes, but i cant wait to try more perfumes in the L'Occitane range!
I love chanel and i have this obsession of trying all their perfumes (at least the ones I perceive as "nice smelling"), This one I decided to try after the rave reviews. I dont normally use "green" perfumes but i've purchased the no19 poudre perfume because i loved the powdery smell of it + the green notes.... So having the flanker, I decided to purchase the original as well. I do not like this fragrance more than I love the no 19 poudre perfume. This one obviously lacks the powdery smell, its pure green and moss and flowers. I hate the initial smell when you first spritz it... its so strong and makes my nose burn, but the dry-down is nice. So i would say i love the fresh smell of this perfume after about 2 hours, I dont like it from start to finish. I appreciate this fragrance and its beauty. its a lovely fresh smell, very feminine and also really sexy. Perfect for spring/summer - in the evening! (as its strong). But NICE...
As a chanel fan - and waiting for chanel to release a new chanel fragrance (as I think they waited too long after "Chance") ... no 19 poudre came out. Yes its not a completely new fragrance - its a flanker from the original no19. I really like this fragrance - i bought it after the first try at the Chanel counter. I love flowery/powdery fragrances, hence i love chanel no5. I've never tried "green" fragrances as such (except Chance eau fraiche which isn't reallly a "green" fragrance, only the liquid was as eau fraiche has citrus in it, but not really anything green like moss...). This fragrance is lovely - its not that great when you smell it in the bottle or the first spritz, but the dry-down is such a lovely earthy powdery smell. Its beautiful , lovely introduction to the older no 19 classic. The dry-down is amazing, very different to no5's drydown as this is more powdery = green leaves where no5's drydown is powder and flowers. Its not a perfume i'd want to wear everyday and i probably wont be going through it as quickly as my no5 EDP or no5 eau premiere, but its a lovely fragrance for when you feel like something green. And its my 1st one. I love it! :) And i love the spritzer!
