Palettes -MAC - A Tartan Tale: Dashing Lassie Eye Palette

I like the colours, they work so well together. A Dashing Lassie looks much better on my lid than in the pan, because it's actually light enough to show up on my lid. Once Upon A Time is darker and almost the same colour as my lid, so it doesn't show up at all, which is a little disappointing. Bronze is very pigmented so is has to be used sparingly. Buckwheat is darker than Bronze but just as pigmented and smooth. I like to use Showstopper as an eyeliner and it looks really amazing, very dark and pigmented, just not as harsh as a black. With none of the shades I experienced fall-out which is great. I haven't used Magical Mist yet, so I can't tell much about it, it's a greenish taupe colour with a lot of shimmer. For me this palette was a must-buy because I didn't know if I could put those colours actually to use, and buying a palette even if you don't use all of the shades is still a lot cheaper than buying them separately. Also it's smaller. The brush is only good to pack on colour but otherwise pretty useless. As far as INCIs are concerned, all the colours are silicone-free expect the vxp Once Upon a Time (INCIs are printed on the back of a loose plate inside the packaging).
Lip Gloss -MAC - Strange Potion (Venomous Villains)

More rosy and muted version of Coral Reef (by Revlon), which I love, but it's too glossy for me. Strange Potion makes my lips look more rosy than coralish, which I adore. It looks very natural but you still get a bit of colour plus it's a Mac gloss, so not too glossy and not too sticky. Glad I got it, my new everyday colour.
Colour is great, doesn't come out as coral as I thought, it is just a very bright pink with undertones of coral. I have a similarly coloured lipstick from a drugstore brand and I love it but the staying power is just horrible and it smells - so I just had to get this, and it's even a Satin, my favourite finish from Mac. So loving this.
Price is really decent here, less then half the price of a Mac lippy. I like that the finish is matte and also that it's very pigmented (all of the colors are like that I believe). I bought Kiss me and Tell no one, even though these colors are very similar, Kiss me is a bright pink with hints of coral, while Tell no one is far more on the coral side. I don't like the smell and I also don't like the taste...it's not that strong but you'll notice it. So before eating something I always remove it. But still not even Mac has such nice coral shades, which is just perfect for me because my lips are a little blueish and the coral eliminates the blue tint to my lips. So please Rimmel, if you read this, make this lipstick more odorless and tasteless...and if you need to use scent then use vanilla like Mac...I would even pay more for it if it were like that.
Perfect color - comes off as very orange, but it's still rather pink (so you won't look like you have carrot colored lips ;) It gives my lips a nice tint and gloss without being too overpowering. A nice alternative to a nude lip =) No skin problems either, it got spf 15, which is a nice side effect. Rather pricey here in Europe (12€), but the colour is really unique, so it's worth the money. Only wish there was a matching lipstick.
Smells like coco nut and is of red colour - doesn't dry out my skin even though it contains sodium laureath sulfate. I like using it if I want to wake up in the morning because its smell reminds me of summer and vacation time.
Supposed to work on Asian skin tones - not for me, it's still too dark and looks too peachy. Should've swatched it before buying it.
This nude colour is lighter, maybe even whiter than Myth, but somehow it works better on me than Myth. If it wouldn't create such a strong nude look, I would use it more often because it really suits my neutral skin tone.
My favourite lipstick - even though it's a frost and not as pigmented as a satin or a matte it still covers my natural lip colour and lightens it lovingly.
Not a very exciting color; but works very well as a base. If I use Shroom, any eyeshadow I put on top shows its true color, which is great when using very light, soft colors like Sweet Lust. On its own Shroom doesn't show up at all, it's not even light enough to work as a highlighter for me.
As any Frost from the Mac eyeshadows I'm highly pleased with it - awesome colour pay-off and even though I don't prime my eyes, there's minimal creasing at the end of the day. But I find that it's impossible to get a sheer coat of it, even if I use very little it's very white and frosty, so I don't feel like using it for a toned down everyday make-up. Blends greatly however.
Love the colour because it's not frosty - but the glitter is a little too clunky for my taste and doesn't hold up well over the day. It's a neutral light peachy pink - so it depends on your skin colour how well it shows. I like to use it a a neutral everyday-pink shade for the inner corner of my eye, because it's not as harsh as Pink Freeze
Colour comes out ashy on my lips, I think it's the plum undertones, also it's too dark for me...I wish there was a lighter colour in the viva glam collection.
Colour is very natural but sadly it's not very long-lasting =( Overall I'm not very excited about this one.
Great nude colour but it's VERY nude, completely hides your natural lip colour - I love the texture (not drying on me). Makes your lips look very full, which I don't really like though. No break-outs from this one around my lips, where I'm very sensitive. Great formula!
