Mascara -Estee Lauder - MagnaScopic Maximum Volume Mascara

I hate this mascara. I bought it for €16,- instead of the normal price of €24,- (or something). It makes my lashes clump and now it's looks like I have only three fat lashes. Bleh. I will never buy this again, not even on sale.

Liquid -The Body Shop - Moisture Foundation SPF 15

I love this foundation. I have tried several liquid foundations, ones from Clarins, Dior, Lancome, but they don't even come near this one. First, the colour matches my skintone exactly. I wear #01, the most pale one (if it's not in the shop, ask the salesperson for it, they have more colours than displayed). Then, the coverage is medium, but you can layer it for more coverage. You can blend it easily. It wears light, I even wear it in summerheat. Then I apply a thin layer, but still. I like the package, it's a bottle with a pump, so you can easily take a little at a time. The bottom comes up. It's transperant, so you can see when you have to buy a back-up. I would definitely buy again.

Lip Treatments -Too Faced - Lip Insurance

I like this primer very much! It's the first primer I tried, but I'm very satisfied. I use this primer on lipstick that I don't have a matching lipliner with (I usually fill my lips with a liner to hold the lipstick longer). It makes my lips smooth, and it doesn't dry. Keeps lipstick on for ages. I was wearing a Maybelline lipstick on it, and my friend asked wich lipstick I was wearing, because it stayed on so long! But it was the lipstick insurance that did the job.

Mascara -Bourjois - Volume Glamour Mascara
rated 2 of 5

I bought this mascara because there was an offer: all Bourjois mascara's for €8,- Normally I use the L'Oréal collagen mascara. So I bought this by Bourjois, because I prefer volume mascara's. But I wish I didn't: It only makes my lashes black. They stay thin, not voluminous at all. What a comedown. + the packaging: it looks simple and elegant; + the wand: I can apply mascara to all my lashes, even the small ones in the corner; + the price, I bought it for €8,-, but not on offer, it's still not that expensive, €11,90 + Keeps your lashes soft, wil not make them clumpy. - no volume! - applying layers won't help; - althought not promised, I was expecting some curl form such a light wearing mascara (when the formula is heavy, it will 'pull' your lashed down), but, no curl. Just plain black lashes, too natural-looking for me.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Strawberry Feels Forever Massage Bar
rated 5 of 5
Minoes 3/1/2010 1:29:00 PM

I like this product very much, for several reasons: + the scent, it's strawberrysweet, but not too sweet (I don't like bubblegumfruitscents); + my skin feels soft, moisturised and lightly perfumed (I don't use perfume in combination with this massagebar); + there's no packaging, so I keep it in an empty bodybutterbox, wich I re-use. So it's environmentalfriendly; + if you use it to massage, no messing around with liquid oils! + the ingrediënts: cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, fresh strawberries, etc... Con's: - It's only 75 gr/2.6 oz and it runs out fast! And quite expensive, €9,95! I think that the price in the USA, $8,95/€6,60 makes a better deal. I use this after showering, when my skin feels warm, so the butter melts better. Also, I put the box where I'm keeping it in on the floor of the shower, so the hot water makes it's warm. Then it is easier to use. My bathrobe smells like Strawberry Feels Forever, and I love it!

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Hemp Face Protector

I used this for my dry skin, and at first it worked. I was excited and all, but after a while, it just stopped working. My skin became dry again. So maybe, you can use this as a rescue treatment, when your skin is incidentally dry. Besides, the product doesn't have spf... A bummer, I want spf! The smell, prize and packaging are okay. edit: It's discontinued.

Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 [DISCONTINUED]
rated 2 of 5

This is a good foundation for my very dry skin. It's moisturizing, doesn't make my skin flakey. You can use a little with a kabuki for a sheer coverage, or apply it with you fingers for more coverage (but if you want heavy coverage, this is not your foundation). The finish is nice, just as it says: "nude glow". I would rebuy this, but then I have to save some money, because I think it's quite expensive, about €45,- if I remember right. I don't like the packaging. It's looks nice, but the glass bottle is heavy, I prefer a plastic bottle. Edit: the consistancy is getting granular! And I'm not even on half the bottle. It feels awful, and it's hardly coming out of the bottle, I have to press really hard! What a bummer. I will never buy this again!

Moisturizers -LUSH - Skin Nanny

This is my all time favourite moisturizer. I hope they will make this in eternity, so I can buy it over and over again. It has everything I wish for. I have a very dry skin, and this is very rich and thick, but melts with skin contact - I guess due to the cocoa butter that's in it. My skin feels great since using this, not dry at all. I have tried several moisturizers for dry skin, but none with this great result. Also after going through really cold weather, with snow, wind, rain etc., my skin still doesn't feel dry. Then there is the SPF 30, and I'm very pale and get sunburned really fast, so that is definitely a plus. Also, it's cruelty free (not tested on animals), contains a lot of natural or organic ingrediënts, and it's smells wonderful! Only 'bad' thing about this product: the price. In the Netherlands it's €39,95. That's a lot. But, because I love this moisturizer, I would buy it again. And again, and again...
