Liquid -Giorgio Armani - Lasting Silk UV Foundation SPF20

This is hype. The end. This is not a great foundation, nor is the staying power, even with setting powder. Erno Laszlo Absolute Finish blows this out of the water for around the same price. Sorry, Armani, this one just did not do it for me.
I am in love. The perfect blackest, black eyeshadow base or eyeliner. Small purple particle make it really pop. It does not transfer... I don't know what else to say. One of my favorite MAC products, and it's limited edition. I'm buying 10.
I LOVE this for photoshoots. True black, non-drying, and a perfect semi-matte finish. Not for the faint of heart, but it is fun to have, and necessary if you are a makeup artist.
This is a true black lipgloss. Very bold statement indeed. I would use this for photoshoots mainly, but I've actually worn it on my lid, over Nehru eyeshadow for a very pretty, glossy eye. It won't last long, but it is lovely. You know what you're in for with this one, so be prepared. It is a bold one.
Foundations -Chanel - Pro Lumiere Professional Finish Make-Up ] [DISCONTINUED]

I used to have a love/hate relationship with this foundation. I use every high end brand you can imagine, and I have switched back to this foundation after Chanel's Mat Lumiere just wasn't cutting it. Here is the deal with this foundation. I am very pale. The shades run dark. I wear the lightest shade, and it is a little dark, but nothing a little setting powder can't fix. The finish of this foundation is absolutely beautiful. It fills in pores, and gives you a truly airbrushed, satin-matte finish. ( I also own an airbrush, so I would know. haha) HOWEVER, this foundation will slip if you do not properly set it. I cannot emphasize this enough. I use Make Up Forever HD Powder to set this, and it lasts 13+ hours. Different setting powders make it last less I've noticed. This and Erno Laszlo's Absolute are my favorite foundations, and I hope Chanel doesn't discontinue this, as they always seem to do with my favorites. My advice as a makeup artist for a different company... (Shhh) Try this with the HD powder. You will not be disappointed.
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - Super Matte Loose Powder

When combined with Clinique's Pore Minimizing T Zone shine control primer and MUFE's Mat Velvet Foundation, this is the ONLY combination I've EVER used that has kept my super oily skin at bay for at least 5 hours. Truly matte powder. This is my 2nd favorite loose powder, only after the new MUFE HD Loose Powder, which is absolutely remarkable. It doesn't have the extreme mattifying quality as this, but will give you a very long lasting matte finish with an added benefit- a completely UNREAL soft focus finish. It's almost like a soft blur on your skin. It's incredible, and there is nothing else like it. But this product definitely does what it says. It will make you MATTE all day! Love it!

Nice foundation. Not my absolute favorite, but it is a very high quality product. Provides a nice, matte, smooth finish. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay matte for over an hour for me, and the color line is so limited. Maybe they're discontinuing this? I prefer Make Up For Ever's Mat Velvet Plus over this any day. Pros- Nice, smooth finish at first. Elegant, lovely bottle. Cons- Not long lasting, overpriced, only 4 shades availible.
This does nothing to control oil, but does do a decent job of priming the skin. Not worth the hype. I prefer Clinique's Pore Minimizing T Zone Shine Control or MUFE All Mat over this any day. Overpriced and overrated. End of story.
Wonderful for photoshoots! Can achieve a very mannequin-like appearance with this. I do love this, but for me it's a bit too heavy for every day wear, which is why I have MUFE's Mat Velvet Plus. I like them both, but for photography, this one may have a slight edge, due to the fact that the coverage is so extreme, and the color range is unbeatable.
I used to ONLY like this foundation for photoshoots. Now that I've discovered MUFE's Mat Velvet Plus Foundation, I've tossed this in the trash. This foundation has entirely too much oil for my already oily skin, and tends to travel around on my face as if it were on vacation, even when set with powder. It does look nice in photos, but MUFE's looks even better. Just not for me, I suppose. One of the only foundations that has caused pimples to form on me too. Just no. If you like this one already, switch over to MAC Full Coverage which is just as oily, but with a better finish.
Such a pretty glossimer that is so extremely pretty that it has "disappeared" from my bathroom cabinet after 2 different parties. Haha. That tells you something! This color is a pretty neutral pink that works well on my pale, NW15 skin. Next tube I get will be tied around my wrist. Haha. Pricey, but worth it!
Great nude lipstick. I never use these matte nude shades alone. I always put a nude, or slightly tinted gloss over them. It's just more flattering in my opinion. This is a flesh colored peach lipstick, and almost my HG. I prefer MAC's Fleshpot lipstick over this one, but they both do the job, and get the compliments. Myth looks PERFECT with MAC's Subculture lipliner and Chanel's Galactic Glossimer over it. Galactic adds that opalescent shimmer that I feel is very flattering with this tone. Bottom line- If you want truly nude lips ladies, this is the lipstick for you. I love it.
Lancomes version of MAC's Amber Lights, or vice versa. Both colors are a very beautiful, flattering metallic copper. Can be very natural, or very dramatic, depending on how much you apply. I really prefer this one over MAC's because this color seems a bit more pigmented.
I use this to create my eyebrows, which I have none, so I would say I can't function without this eyeshadow. I love it.
Lipstick -Chanel - Aqualumiere Lipshine #34 Acapulco
MilesDevin 4/20/2008 8:58:00 AM
Vivid looking pink in the tube, but when applied, it's a very subdued, pretty pink shine! I really enjoy this. The texture is silky and dewy. Very high quality product in a pretty tube. My only complaint is that the golden plating on the tube chips off, but other than that, this is a very nice lipstick.
