I really like this stuff! I did not really give it a fair chance in high school because I found it smells too bad, kind of like wet dog. Since there were so many good reviews, I decided to give it another shot. This works really fast to reducing acne. After the first night I used this, my face was so much smoother and less angry. My pimples were reduced. My only issue is that it is quite drying so I am limiting its use to only once a day quickly followed by moisturiser. I might try alcohol free after to see if it works as well to reduce the drying or I might try to mix it with some water.

I decided to buy a 60g tube to test it out. I live in Japan so it was around $5, which is pretty inexpensive. It is called yuskinA. I don't know about anyone else but I love the scent of Vicks vapour rub, so I really enjoy the scent of this. It does fade away pretty quickly though. The consistency is thinner than Vicks but still quite thick and leaves a tacky feeling on the skin due to the high level of glycerin. It isn't greasy at all though and does leave my hands soft. Just sticky. Now that the weather is warmer, I find the feeling to be quite uncomfortable and I can imagine this is quite amazing in winter for hands and feet. I'll save this as a night treatment and will update if anything changes.
My skin is in hell mode right now. It is lumpy, congested and just not pretty. I never really knew if clay masks actually ever do anything. I decided to slather this on hoping it would help and hallelujah, it did!!! I bought this in Korea for 12,000 won, which is quite a good price. After 15 minutes, I washed it off and I notice my skin was softer and brighter but I was like meh as always. I like that is left my skin feeling moisturised. Then came the morning and hello! My skin wasn't like glass or anything, but it definitely improved by 50%. My makeup actually looked a lot smoother today and less inflamed. My congestion decreased and I feel a little more confident today. I will continue using this to help with my congestion. Maybe I'll try twice a week to see if it can seriously help my congestion. If I cannot find anything better, and I can easily find it, I would repurchase!
I bought the small 70ml size to test out because my skin is very reactive to basically everything. Firstly, I really love the packaging, the styling is up my alley. I squirt about 1.5 pumps, the scent is of olive oil with a hint of freshness from the rosemary, so I believe this is as close to natural as you can get with a commercial cleansing oil. It cleans makeup well and leaves my skin squeaky clean. Probably too drying for winter. My skin is going a bit crazy at the moment and I started using 3 new products so I am not sure what is causing me problems, but I don't think it is this., I will update if it is! I want to try out Fancl Mild cleansing oil since that one I believe is slightly cheaper.

How I wish I saw this review before I bought this! This has to be the most drying product I have ever used, even dryer than soap! I thought a product that is soy milk based would be hydrating to my very dry skin. I was very wrong! This was the first time I bought a Japanese cleanser so I was very excited. I love the packaging, I love that it is fragrance free. I wanted to love this so much and I really tried to make it work. At first I used it morning and night, then just night, then a smaller amount than a pea. I really foamed it up as much as I could with the foaming net. Everything left my skin feeling horrible. Only after 3 days, my face feels like sandpaper and looks so wrinkly, I got more breakouts and my skin is now extremely sensitive. This honestly damaged my skin. It is even too drying for my body. Honestly, Dr. Bronner's is less drying than this. If anyone wants this, pm me.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Everpure smooth conditioner

The smell of this is so addictive. I hate typical shampoo and conditioner smells so this range has high points on this regard. I like this conditioner as it doesn't weigh my dry, thick hair down and leaves it feeling smooth. For a drugstore product, it feels very luxurious. I will continue to use this range if I can get it at or close to US prices.
This shampoo smells so good. It smells a bit masculine but luxurious at the same time. It is very good for dry haired people like me, although I can see this being too heavy for fine haired people. It is very thick and high quality, foams well and leaves hair feeling soft. The price is right in the US but probably a bit too spendy outside of the US for a drugstore product. The packaging is very beautiful and luxe feeling. It seriously feels like a more expensive product. My only complaint is that my hair falls out a lot with continuous use so I alternate. Also, just being by L'oreal is a bit of a worry. Not perfect but pretty close.
I managed to get this at US prices here in Japan so I was quite happy to give it a go. The wand is curved to help flare out the lashes. I like that it doesn't clump and leaves my lashes defined and pretty compared to no mascara. I have a bit of a hard time not getting it on my skin when I do my bottom lashes though because of the large wand. I usually only do one coat but this could probably be built up. It hasn't smudged on me and does what it is supposed to. The packaging is in a chubby purple tube, which is quite fun as I am used to minimalistic packaging. It is a good mascara, the only reason why I wouldn't buy this again is because I want to try the other Maybelline mascara formulas.
BB Cream -InnisFree - Eco Natural Green Tea BB Cream

I bought the tiny sachet of this for $1.50 when I was in Korea, it lasted for seriously 5 months! Talk about value for money. It is highly pigmented. I regretfully forgot that bb creams run light so next time I'll buy it in shade 2. Even though it was the lighter shade, I was able to sheer it out. Other than getting the wrong shade, it is a seriously good bb cream. I use smaller than a pea size for my whole face. It gives me a very nice natural look. evening out my skintone and making me look healthy. I have acne scars and this does a good job at blurring them but not masking them like a foundation. It feels very comfortable on the skin. I don't need to powder on top of this, but my skin is dry so that might be a factor. But in summer, it might be necessary. I didn't notice it helping my skin in any way but I never really expected it to! In conclusion, I really love this. It is the best bb cream I have ever used. If I visit Korea again, I'm getting one tube of this and it will probably last me a few years! I also have another sachet of the mineral one so I'll review that after I'm done with it.
This has saved my skin from being dried out from some terribly drying facial soap and winter. I use it as a makeup remover as well as a cleanser in the morning. I massage it into my face, then wipe off with a warm wash cloth a couple of times until most of the oil is removed. When I remove makeup, I just do this twice. Since I've used sweet almond oil, the dullness in my skin is gone and it actually glows. It's even plumper as well. I've been going without makeup since I've done this method. It doesn't aggravate my acne prone skin either. In fact it's the clearest it's been in a long time. If anyone is interested in my skincare regimen, after I spray on some rosewater as toner, then Green People Oy! Cleanse and moisturise. This has helped my skin a lot. Now my main issue is acne scarring!

I use this as a moisturiser and sometimes as a makeup remover on lazy days. It goes on a bit sticky but the feeling goes away. It smells like citrus peel, which my hubby really likes. This helps with my crazy breakout prone skin and leaves my dry skin feeling comfortable and not tight. It could be more moisturising but this is targeted at hormonal oily teens so fair enough. It is tiny so I wouldn't recommend using it as a cleanser all the time. I like the cute young packaging. What I love the most is that this is a multipurpose product and would be great to leave in your handbag for those impromptu sleepovers. I would definitely repurchase in future if my skin is giving me grief. Update: This needs to be on my HG list. My skin is so clear using this. I really love everything about it! I need this at all times!
Eyeliner -Prestige - Total Intensity Eyeliner Deepest Black
MichikoFliz 3/29/2013 6:03:00 AM
I have had this for three years and I have to say, I have hated it the moment I got it. The good points are that it really is very black. The bad points are that it doesn't stay put. It always transfers to my lids no matter how little I put on. It is also drags even though it is so soft and doesn't apply smoothly (maybe because mine is ancient). It also feels uncomfortable on my waterline. I'll keep trying to make it work for another week or so, if not I'll give it a toss. Trying to clear out my makeup collection!
Scrubs -Unlisted Brand - Laline - Body Scrub Coconut Verbena
MichikoFliz 3/14/2013 5:56:00 AM
This is a heavenly tropical island in a jar. It is a lovely treat of dead sea salt, nourishing oils and a delicious scent that lasts beyond the shower. Coconut verbena is by far my favourite scent. It leaves my skin so soft and nourished. I would definitely repurchase, only when they have sales though because it is a tad pricey.
I accidentally bought the Kurobara brand that seriously looks exactly the same as this in terms of packaging. But it is also 100% tsubaki oil so I can't imagine the effects to be any different. I just finished the bottle and I really love it for its smoothing and softening effects. The oil is light and golden. I find it leaves my hair feeling smoother than when I apply coconut oil as a leave-in conditioner. It doesn't smell nice like coconut oil but that is a small drawback. It is quite inexpensive (around $10 a bottle) and is worth it because I use 4 drops on my long hair and the bottle lasted me 7 months. I would repurchase, but this time I will make sure I get the Oshima brand to see if there is a difference.
I bought this on a whim when the pharmacy I was in did not have my HG Majolica Marjorca mascara. At first I hated this mascara because I found it too clumpy. But I found the trick to using it is that "less is more". I only use one coat and also using the convex side minimises major clumping. I guess it does volumise as the name suggests. It holds my curl well and when the water works happens, this flakes a little rather than becoming a streaky black stream down my face. I probably wouldn't buy it again because I prefer the Majolica Majorca mascara, but it is a decent product.
