Great set , It's silver plated with 7 pairs of different , delicate colours of good quality pearlesque beads +one pair of small silver plated hoops , which gives the set a touch of youthful twist to the otherwise typically classic pearls .The colour of the beads is : -Your usual pearly white . - Of white pearly - pearly light rose . - Pearly beige . - Peweter . -Pearly silver . -pearly very light pastichio green . , The colour selection makes them suitable for any outfit theme or colour , and you cannot beat this elegant cute & practical packging ..Why the four lippies then ..Its hoop closure is very strange -at least for me ..It's not the usual spring circle & pin you get with hoop earrings..It's a horizontal pin you push between the open circle lips ..It's hard to manouvre a bit , I don't know the name of this lock yet but I will try to look it up or search it ..It's not horrible really but just wasn't easy for me to use ..but the best thing about this set is I can use it with other usual hoops which I have; changing the size & style of the earrings :) So I am very happy with my purchase .

I am really loving Avon jewellery nowadays , I haven't paid attention to them before as I wasn't a fashion jewellery girl most of my life but the economic crisis in my country changed a lot of my habits .However I am enjoying discovering :)..This set is truly beautiful and very high quality , a classic polished brass plated chain with an extender , flower cluster motif medallion , with a big matching ring and post earring . As I said before the quality is so good , specially when it's compared with the price as I got it with great discount . It's exactly my style. My only complain is the chain even with the extender is a bit shorter than I had expected , but it doesn't affect the style . The ring though adjustable runs a little small as well , I don't big or fat fingers , they're meduim sized , this ring hardly fits my ring finger only ..So be careful , but the beauty & price of this set compensate for anything else ..The packging is beautiful & practical as well with the Avon logo .

Crème -Essence - Soft Touch Mousse make-up

This is my first mousse foundation & I am loving it..I rarely used foundations all my life but I began experimenting with them about a year ago when I started to have those dark circles under my eyes , as concealers weren't enough , this product hardly needs any concealers , just a "touch" with a light concealer ..I was skeptical at first to use a mousse foundation as I don't need much coverage & have combo skin but doing some research I settled for the Essence one as it's silicone based instead of being oil based like the Dream matte Mousse by Maybelline , not to mention it's 1/3 of its price here in my country . Now some pros & cons : Pros : - Very light texture , creamy and easy to spread & blend with a wet sponge - Not oily at all , in fact it dries to almost powdery finish so it's perfect for oily /combination skins or just in Summer . - Meduim coverage but may be buildable to full if you needed . - I didn't have to use powder to set it or correctors & concealers as I usually do ..just a touch of a lightening concealer under my eyes . - Good price . - Completely matt , but that can be a con to some people ... Cons : -Very limited colour choice , only five I think ..I have it in 04 matt ivory which is the lightest with yellow undertone..I am N 15 to 20 with neutral undertone so this made me a bit ghostly which I don't like ... - It is not scented but once it touches my latex sponge it has a bit of a smell , no biggie though as it disappears immediately . The packging is a glass jar & it comes with 16 grams of product a bit heavy but it's sturdy & good amount of product . ...This is a pro & a con at the same time as some would think it 's "unhygenic" to use , but no problem for me as I wash & dry my hands before applying any MU and it's for my personal use only ... I will certainly buy again as it's a wonderful & rare product to find in Drugstore generally , specially in my country ..Specially for the price .

My second Avon fashion jewellery purchase and I am so happy with it..Avon is famous for making quality costume jewellery & accessories since early 70's (wish I can get my hands on some of their vintage pieces ..) This so classy and delicate necklace is 42+9 cm silver plated chain, with three layered Swarovski elements crystals , The crystals are black , grey & transparent AMAZING quality and they catch the light to sparkle beautifully & not in a trashy way like cheap stones ..I got it for the dicounted price and that was a steal ;) ..I have already ordered more of their jewellery ..Due to the economic crisis where I live , I am buying & wearing only fashion jewellery but honestly that wasn't too bad as I discovered great designs & lovely pieces for very good prices :)

Foundations -Oriflame - very me Smoothie Foundation

Great product for a foundation novice , or a young girl on a budget .Medium matt coverage , light texture , enriched with natural ingredients and very simple , cute & convenient packging . but the colour selection is very limited , only 4 shades.. I picked the lightest "Porcelain " as I thought it would be a good match for my N 15 -20 , fair combo skin with neutral undertone , but it turned out a bit light for my taste ( I don't like to be lighter or tanner ..) So I think I will try Ivory next time..This foundation is very good for Normal or Combo skin but I think it will be a bit drying for dry skin .It will be definetely good in Summer though ..So if your skin is a bit drier , make sure to moisturise well before it with an aqua based moisturiser ...And speaking of moisturisers ; I tried it with Olay complete cream and it was a huge disaster ! It went on patchy ,unblendable ..etc. So make sure your hydrating cream under it will "like" it or it won't work for you ..I applied it with fingers and it wasn't that good , but with a wet sponge it was perfect :)

Styling Products -Oriflame - Hairx Heat protection Lotion

First of all I am not a huge fan of Oriflame Hair care products , they were mostly flops , but this product made me sit down & write a review .It's a hair protection lotion from heat , people don't usually prefer lotions when it comes to hair protection from styling tools & I do agree they can weigh the hair down or make it greasy , but not this one ..It's my first hair protection product -which is really intended to that purpose , as I used serums for that purpose before , vitamin E capsules , nothing sometimes , and one single product from Garnier which was made for "treatment " not styling ..When I first used this product I was like "Meh " but when I kept using it every time I blew dry my hair I felt my hair was really improving instead of being "damaged" with the heat , no split ends any more , very flexible and no crunchy ugly texture which you usually get if your heat styling skills are so-so like me ..My daughter used it too and she had great success as well though she has different hair texture . Now lets list some pros :) - Very cheap if you get through a promotion sale . - You get a HUGE quantity 150 ml =( 5.0 fl.oz) - Use tiny amount , trust me it will work better this way I have very long thick hair & use only one dollop on my fingers , spread through hair with fingers after seperating it from the middle , the same amount for the other side . - No funny smells , but you may smell the lightest smell of coconut oil or is it Apricot seed ?? it will fade quickly , this is normal as it contains natural ingredients . - Easy to use & store squeeze tube with fliptop lid . - It will help with detangling hair before styling . This is a great underdog product - I would have said under-rated , but It's not even rated in first place !! only one review on it on not-so-famous blog, but it's a wonderful product that DOES really work ..We all know how any new shoes could be a pain in the "feet " at first , specially if you're a someone who works as a teacher , SA , Nurse or anywork that requires a lot of standing , I use this on spots where I get the most pressure & friction on my feet and it works like a charm ..I knew it really works when I stopped using it on some new , or problem shoes , once you use it you can feel the difference ..It's not a miracle product that will heal already-there blisters , but it will prevent them before putting on those sexy heels or even formal pumps ..My only complaint is the packaging , though very practical and the product is superb , its mechanism may be a little tricky , it looks like a lipstick one but its not that stable ,it "rolls" down when I am using it so I must hold the base more , otherwise I 've already ordered another one :)

AWESOME ..but as an eyebrow product as I have it in that very-hard -to-find colour (Grey Black ) ...It's the only shade that would cover my 30 years old scar which left me with no hairs ot the beginning of my right eyebrow , it looks pretty natural without any added product like a touch of matt black eyeshadow ; I just draw a few spaced lines on my scar with featherlight touch then fill in any other gaps the same way & voilá : A pair of natural perfect looking eyebrows ..I only need to go with my elaborate eyebrow routine ( a touch of black eyeshadow with an angled brush then comb lightly with a spoolie then clear mascara with eyebrow brush ) if I needed a dramatic look ..It's very hard for girls with blackest black stubborn , strong eyebrows like me to find a matching colour as usual blacks look fake & browns look clowny ...Jordana makes a similar colour in smokey which is retractable as well but it's so expensive here in my country , I haven't used it with eyes but judging from it's smoothness & staying power I am sure it would be very good also ..It's a new product from Oriflame and I am feeling they are getting much better with their products ..Going to stock on that ;)

This perfume smells really classy & feminine , not all these sweet nonsense you come across now but there is something about it ; It has very wide sillage (how far it spreads around you that what sillage is ) but strangely enough you cannot smell it yourself ..I've had this bottle which I kept closed for almost a year as I know Avon perfumes though very good don't last until they are a bit older ..I tried it lightly yesterday and people around me could smell it beautifully but not I ! ..I wore the same clothes this morning and my colleague at work asked me about it , though I didn't spritz again in the morning as I was in hurry...I will buy it again for sure but I wish I could enjoy it as well as others around me :p

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Gabrini - colour perfection

This is a Turkish brand (Mid-range prices ) which is starting in the Middle East & Asia ..I thought of trying their lipsticks first , I picked (04) which is shown in the picture above ; very nice muted pink , I swatched it on my lips at home and was impressed with high pigmentation , creaminess and how it felt very comfortable on my lips ..but when I tested it once while going out I noticed some things : It's semi-matt , so it won't feel as moisturising as you feel when you first apply it , in fact it doesn't retain moisture as I expected.. It dried a bit on my lips though they 're in a great condition and I care for them a lot ...the staying power is good but you should apply it in 2 coats (apply, blot, apply ) to get that staying power , also you may need transparent gloss over it to give it a boost ...So I couldn't give it 5 lippies as I was rather disappointed & may not purchase again but for the price & that luxurious HE like packging , I recommend only trying it ...

I haven't bought that scent but used it many times with my sister-in-law (we are very close almost like sisters , even in looks :)..Though this has been years ago but I still really like it and remember it as a reviewer here -Mr Mellow - decribed it to a T ..It's the Feminine Fragrance that would evoke a man but it wouldn't turn him into a savage , really "Soft Power " like a perfectly manicure hand with classic red nail varnish..It is not an old lady smell , NO WAY ..I used this with my SIL when we were at the beginning of our 20's and never felt or thought it was older for us , this is a heavy floral , fruity scent that is worn by a female , not those sweet , candy , girly , yuckies attacking us everywhere now (think Britney Spears Fantasy ..Oh my God ..) this is for a female of any age , no tomboy who smells like lollipops or candies when she puts on perfume ... Edit : I think this has been re-formulated , I used the old version only ...

This is a safe nude on my lips (mostly nudes make me look dead ..) It a pinkish shimmery which I have described it with other sahdes I got from the same range , it looks much better on my lips than "Pink Sunrise " but still not that nude I am dreaming of ..:\ it's a great natural , summery shade & texture but don't expect something special ...Great price though ...

I am so sad I couldn't find any reviews here about this little gem . This perfume isn't expensive , but it ticks all the boxes of what "Expensive " "Designer " "Famous " perfumes should be ..VERY long lasting , unique , not flashy , not cloying just so beautiful and fits a woman proud of being a female .. The bottle is very simple yet pretty in a chic, and a bit creative way -No crazy look -at-me ideas , easy to travel with , and just plain feminine ... It could be catgorised as fruity -floral perfume , but trust me the similarities with the usual hyped fruity , sweety , dizzying ..etc perfumes of the 00's just end here . It opens with the usual floral ,semi-sweet scents of plum , black currant , ylang -ylang and a single petal of a rose , then a warm vanilla note sneaks around to give you that "womanly" mature sexy feeling , it tones down to the most exquisite orange blossom & sandlwood ..Yes, the bottom note is Orange blossom (and it will stay there for days on your clothes and almost every thing you touch with your blessed hand ) ,so you're still feeling fresh and lovely after wearing it the whole day ..It has been my favourite perfum for so "unique" days which you cannot just forget about it ;) ..and it will be :) .

Moisturizers -Olay - Complete All Day Moisture Cream SPF 15 (Normal)

I am very happy with my skin routine right now , but it was getting harder to find my HG moisturiser (Johnson's Triple action Daycream ) So when I saw this at a discount store , I picked it up immediately to spare my daily cream a little bit and use this under MU .. I 've combo skin , this was much more "less" hydrating for me , but it was quickly & easily absorbed so it made an excellent MU base , either than that , I won't use it as a moisturiser , because it's not moisturising enough for me at all ! This is weird since this the (Normal to Dry skin ) formula and it's supposed to be thicker or richer which isn't true ..As a reviewer here noted , I think it is that silicone craze ..so , it's an okay product for the price... Update : I think I didn't get an "original" Olay prtoduct ..This cream turned so drying and made most foundations on it look patchy & weird ..I won't take lippies as I think Iwas cheated :{..but I don't know about the genuine ...

Those who are familiar with the iconic Max Factor Pan Stik , will definetely fall in love with this product , I used the Max Factor Pan Stik many years ago , but stopped for the simple reason of not using foundations except in rare occasions , recently I was more into makeup so I searched my trusted old Pan Stick only to find out it was hard to find and gettingmore expensive , so I read the Shreen's review and decided to buy the Golden Rose one , I was AMAZED :) here are my opinions after test-driving it : - Very creamy texture , but it never gets greasy as the Max Factor 's prone to sometimes - Great selection of colours 7 shades easily ordered from the very lightest (01) with neutral undertone to (07) going darker with yellow \ pink undertone to everyshade (I 've got it in 02 which is light but has beige undertone , I wanted the 03 with pink undertone but it wasn't available :( For refrence I have fair skin with neutral undertone I think it's NW15 or 20 . - Medium coverage , but I think it can be buildable to full coverage . - Suitable for combo \normal skin , but I think it can be used for oily skin as well as it's not greasy -unlike the Max Factor one - but certainly it needs a decent moisturiser under it . - Long lasting and durable in warm weather . - It blended easily with my fingers , I was surprised to see it sort of "sank" in my skin , so I thought it wasn't covering anything ; but when I checked my visible undereyes circle, I felt they were almost gone :) - You will hardly need any concealer with that , honestly . -Good price but you get 11 gr of product , the Max Factor one is 14 gr but certailny pricier (if found ..) - WONDERFUL , chic , sleek packging almost HE quality . -No funny smells. I wanted so much to try as tones as , they can double as a concealer , but they weren't available in my town, and heard rumours it's gonna be discountinued in Egypt :"( ..So fingers crossed please they won't discontinue it here ... I have posted a pic of it and the shades but I think they don't show truly here ..However , you can swatch it eaily if the brand was available in your country Some shades I remember are : 01 very light with neutral undertone . 02 light , beige undertone . 03 light pink undertone 04 light tan with orangey undertone .
