Primer/ Corrector -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector

Despite the mediocre reviews on MUA, I decided to pick this up at Ulta with Neutrogena's Healthy Skin foundation as part of their BOGO 1/2 Off sale. After trying it for a few days, I am shocked by the bad reviews! Compared to the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer, which has received glowing reviews on MUA, this concealer is smooth and ultra blendable. Although it sacrifices a bit of coverage for that moisturizing quality, I think its worth it not to have cakey undereyes. And although it is a bit expensive, I definitely plan on repurchasing if I find it on sale again.

Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Lumi Touch

I was so excited to try this concealer after seeing several YouTube videos raving about it and reading the great MUA reviews. Unfortunately, this concealer does not live up to the hype. While it does provide good coverage I find that the formula is quite dry and difficult to blend and can sometimes look cakey. I also hate the click pen, which I think exacerbates the dryness issue. For those reasons I would not repurchase.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I was looking for a mascara that would give me natural looking volume and length. I was excited to try this product after reading all the good MUA reviews and to my surprise it did deliver a decent amount of volume and a bit of natural looking length. Unfortunately, this mascara just could not hold a curl! I tried curling my lashes before and after applying the mascara; just after; and before, between coats, and after and each time my lashes were absolutely flat! It might be good for those with naturally curly lashes, but for those cursed with stick straight lashes like me, I would recommend looking somewhere else.
