I agree with those who said it was runny for a lotion, but I'm ok with that except for my hands. I've found also that after a few months, you need to shake it a little as it separates. The fragrance is a sort of mandarine orange which I like but could be too strong for some people. The dark blue glass protects the essential oils, although it has crashed to the floor a lot (not broken at least). In general, I've always found the Weleda brand to be very high quality. And sea buckthorn is meant to have excellent benefits for skin.

At first I liked it b/c it did take away the yellow of my nails and it went on easily. Then after about 6 weeks of using it, I started having problems with my nails -- peeling from the edges. Like any impact made a layer of nail come off. To be sure, I bought this b/c I don't have the strangest nails ever, but over time, this stuff made them worse. For 3 weeks now I've had to cut mine down to nothing while they get back to normal. And when I get a sliver of nail, I still have to cut them off. I threw all the get coat away.

Powders -Mally Beauty - Evercolor Poreless Face Defender

To be clear -- it's NOT a powder. (But you use it like you would a powder, so that's the closest category I could find.) It's clear and you blot in on to take down the shine w/o adding a layer of powder to your face in that mask-like way that can happen. And you won't end up w/powder in your eyebrows from blotting your forehead -- I hate that! It also keeps a certain dewy-ness to your skin which a powder obliterates. There's a mirror and a puff in the compact for easy application.

The blush delivers quite well on staying on through a workday. I rarely have to reapply, and used to 2-3 times a day. Even when it's that time of the month and all makeup seems to evaporate from my skin, this stays on. She recently added more shades, too. I just wish that the case had a place to hold the brush.

Bronzers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Bronzing Argan Oil

It is nicely bronzing, but it does come off on your clothes, even hours later. So you're better off using her argan oil on your skin to moisturize without the bronzer part, unless you plan to just stand for hours at a cocktail party or something where what you've bronzed doesn't come in contact with much.

I used this daily for a month and found no difference in my skin which is combination and has large pores. I wanted to like it b/c my skin's often sensitive to abrasive exfoliators, so a non-abrasive product seemed to fit the bill. The packaging get s "2" b/c it's glass and in a busy bathroom, that's not smart.

I mix with my foundation just to add a little glow. It takes just a smidge. I haven't experienced any kind of "disco ball." and I really dislike any obvious shimmer. Very nice stuff!

I love this stuff, and previously I didn't believe in spending more than a couple dollars for everyday lip moisture. It feels great and has a fresh aroma to it. Youcanwear as a bit of brightening out or just at home. I just wish it weren't in that pot as I dislike digging around in a pot. Would prefer a tube. I love that it's natural argan oil as well.

Conditioner -Aveda - Pure Abundance Volumizing Clay Conditioner

I was skeptical at first b/c I have fine hair and worried that it would weight it down rather than fluff it up. Wrong. This stuff is terrific. A little goes a long way. The volumizing shampoo I've had no luck with, but this works, for me, anyway. See if you can get a sample first to try it.

I think that the long-wears are a great product in general, and I like Shore to even out the color of my lids which often are a little red. Sometimes I'll layer an actual color on top, sometimes not if I just was to look healthy and natural.

Moisturizers -Bobbi Brown - Vitamin Enriched Face Base

In my mid-40s w/combo but growing drier skin. I thought it might be too heavy, but it smoothes right in. I use AM and PM in the fall-winter and just PM in spring. Has a strong smell which I love but might not be for everyone (orange, geranium). I just wish BB would switch too plastic containers -- broke one already when it landed in the sink.

It really is long-wear. You have about 20 seconds to smudge it, after that, it goes no where -- even in humidity. It's my go-to for everyday now as just about every other eye liner I tried ends up all down my face after a few hours. My fave color is Espresso. Black is too black for day, if you ask me. I have Mahogany also (was a freebie) but that now seems to be discontinued. I don't love or hate the packaging.

I tried this for a few weeks and couldn't discern any real difference in my skin. I mean, pores looked smaller temporarily, and there was some color in my cheeks -- but the latter was due to the acids, I expect.
