Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover

This is my HG eye makeup remover. It is the only one that removes all of my eye makeup with one swipe, and doesn't burn my eyes! I have very sensitive eyes and they tear up and burn at the slightest contact.. This formula glides smoothly over my eyes and the makeup is GONE! I apply this with a cotton pad, let it sit for a few seconds and my eye and then wipe off. If there is any excess under my eyes, I will dip a Qtip in the bottle and swipe to get rid of the remains. It last a really long time too! Make sure to shake the bottle though, otherwise you won't get the proper product; just oil. My only complaint is that I wish it wasn't just an open top. I tend to spill a lot.. Other than that, fan-freaking-tastic!

Where do I even begin? This product is a lifesaver. I have dry, sensitive skin, that tends to be red. This applies ANY foundation flawlessly, and covers so well. I don't have words to describe how fantastic this is. Please just go get it and feel what its like to fall in love with a beauty product.. Amazing!

Treatments -L'Oreal - Hair Expertise Total Repair Replenishing Mask
rated 4 of 5

To start, I have long, fine, blonde hair. It gets oily quickly, but I have dry damaged ends. Recently I chopped off a few inches and have since been trying to keep my hair damage free. I bought this because I really liked the conditioner. It was in my moms bathroom and I tried it a few times before realizing how deeply it moisturized; nothing else worked as well. Only problem is that I HATE HATE HATE the smell.. And it made my hair a bit too oily. To solve this problem, I bought new shampoo and conditioner, as well as this mask. I still hate the smell.. But I only use it on my ends so it's not so bad. I use it 2/3 times a week and it really leaves my hair silky soft. Also, best thing to use after using a clarifying shampoo. I clarify with Matrix and then throw this on my ends. I gave it 4 lippies because I really do hate the smell.. But nothing else has felt so light on my hair and yet moisturized so deeply. Well done L'Oreal!

Moisturizers -Olay - Sensitive Moisture Therapy Lotion
rated 5 of 5

This is my current HG moisturizer. I have very dry, red, and sensitive skin and I couldn't find a product that wasn't heavy and would moisturizer throughout the day. Now I use a night cream or coconut oil at night and this during the day, and my skin is ALWAYS soft. I bought this moisturizer in the sensitive skin version, with no spf, because I find spf tends to irritate around my eyes. The name says it all; it is truly sensitive. I don't get as red, and I have no dry patches or irritation. The packaging is alright; would have liked a pump. This is such a classic, and definitely a staple in my skincare routine. I use it with a bb cream or dewy finish foundation, and my face stays hydrated throughout the day. Absorbs quickly, so it's fantastic when I'm in a rush to get ready. All around great product!

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
rated 4 of 5
Megbatch 2/11/2013 9:34:00 PM

This used to be my HG, lighter coverage foundation. I would mix it with Revlon CS to make it a wee bit more heavy, or apply it alone for a lighter coverage. I have applied it with every tool imaginable, but I like to buff with a kabuki and blend with a damp sponge the best. This was a great mix between coverage and a light finish. The colour selection is why I adore it though. I have insanely light skin and they have a colour to match- Yipee! I now use a BB cream mixed with a wee bit of a heavy foundation for coverage (only because I like the skin healing effects of a BB cream) but True Match will always be a staple in my makeup collection. My skin fluctuates so much, which is why I don't use it as much anymore.. But for slightly discoloured skin, or a few pimples, this foundation is a dream. As I said, great mix between good coverage and flawless finish. Side note.. Crummy packaging!

Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
rated 4 of 5
Megbatch 2/11/2013 9:27:00 PM

This is a part of my new HG foundation routine. I went through a few months where my skin was going bonkers, and towards the end of that experience I found this foundation - I would apply it with a damp sponge or my RT face brush. The coverage, lasting power and finish are all incredible! Lately I mix it with a BB cream or moisturizer to make the coverage a bit more sheer, and it looks INCREDIBLE. My skin looks flawless! This foundation is the perfect balance of coverage and finish and has replaced ColourStay as my go to, full coverage foundation :)

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

UPDATE!! It's been a while since I've used this foundation because I've started a skin care routine that has really helped with my problems areas. Currently using lighter products, and looking back I find CS quite ashy.. But it was my HG when I had problem skin, and it never broke me out more than what I usually did so I still recommend for problem skin, but I believe it to be too heavy for mere slight imperfections. ORIGINAL.. Oh where to start with this foundation. I bought it because of all of the great reviews and I am now officially in love! I agree with some of the reviewers in that it dries super quickly! I actually blend it with my L'Oreal True Match, originally because I bought CS too light, but now I mix them because it creates the PERFECT texture. As for CS by itself, the staying power is fantastic and it covers all of my imperfections. I have really red cheeks, dark eyelids and under eye circles and some imperfections but this foundation covers all of my problem areas. Couldn't rate it a 5 because it does dry very fast, although perhaps I'm just not applying fast enough. Oh, and I use a kabuki brush to stipple and then blend this foundation out. Then I use an OPI foundation sponge to blend further as it sometimes dries still stippley..

Fragrances -Vera Wang - Princess
rated 5 of 5

My absolute favourite perfume. I wear it almost every day - had it since April and I still have about a quarter of a bottle left. This is my second bottle and I still use it as my go to. I sometimes rotate between different body sprays but this perfume will never be able to compete. It is such a girly scent, but so perfectly light! I never feel overwhelmed by my perfume, which is a huge plus for me. Sweet, fruity, flowery and delicate. A dynamite combination. I doubt I'll ever find another perfume as fantastic as Princess.

Moisturizers -Olay - Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid - Original

Not sure how much it costs regularly because I got it on sale.. But anyways. I bought this because I went to buy Nivea cream for the first time and Shoppers was sold out, so I ended up with this as it was on sale. I really really like it. I apply one layer right after I wash my face, and a second layer a few minutes later. My skin gets INSANELY dry in the winter.. It is brutal. Usually I use coconut oil but it feels so much more luxurious when I'm using something thick like this cream. Didn't leave residue (but that might be because my skin sucks up moisturizer like you wouldn't believe) and it didn't irritate my already red skin. It has been great thus far, but I do use quite a bit of it so I'm really using it up quickly. Going to keep searching for a heavy duty night cream, but this one has been swell thus far!

Cleansers -Olay - Sensitive Wet Cleansing Cloths

Got these with an Olay moisturizer that I bought. Seemed great at the time because I needed moisturizer AND makeup removing wipes, so it was like fate! Wrong.. Although they did a good job of removing my layers and layers of mascara, they burned my eyes pretty bad. I wouldn't say I have abnormally sensitive skin, but it can be dry and red at times and these made my eyes swell up like little balloons. Figured because they're sensitive skin, they'd be awesome.. But that obviously was not the case. Will be going back to my Neutrogena remover and cotton puffs.
