as a hairdresser, i LOVE paul mitchell Tea tree shampoos. they are awesome to address any scalp issues, but can be a bit drying for daily use, it is good to have this shampoo in rotation with a hydrating shampoo. i love to use this after color services because of it cleansing power, mornings when i need something to wake me up, or if i've used alot of styling products/gunk in my hair and want it squeaky clean. excellent gift for boyfriend/husband if u wanna score some brownie points haha

Lipstick -MAC - Russian Red

favorite red lipstick <3 a little drying because of the matte formula, but nothing that layering chapstick underneath can't fix. lasts a really long time compared to other red lipsticks i've tried, definitely worth the price tag compared to a drugstore lipstick :)

<3 this! and i am typically not a bright hot pink fan but this won me over. to me its a perfect "pick me up" for gloomy days :)

this smelled like elizabeth taylor's white diamonds on me :/ idk if i should give it another try, but it was pretty pungent on me & lasted a good while. i'd like to try it for another day & see if i can stand it. got a veeery faint smell of tobacco.

this mascara is AAAWESOME. instant volume and length. and lasts all day (and night). 3 coats of this equals like 10 coats of a drugstore brand. finally a mascara that delivers!

Hair -Beyond The Zone - Color Jamz

the thing is, whenever you are going for an un natural color it is best to not completely lift/bleach it to white. i read some of the reviews, the people that were happy with the results usually bleached their hair to a orangish copperish color, which would be an ideal target level if you do not want your color to fade fast. This is not actual permanent haircolor! the color molecules are bigger than that, so they need something to grab on to! & when you bleach your hair you open up your hair cuticles, (which are kind of like the pores in your skin) the more you bleach it, the more susceptible it is for the color to wash out faster. another way to improve upon the performance & the lasting power of this product (or any temporary haircolor) is to leave it on longer with some heat. for best results the use of a blowdryer & a showercap & dont forget to think warm thoughts :)
