My DH (who has *no* sense of smell--literally--I wear perfume strictly for my own pleasure--it kind of seems like a secret indulgence) got this for me as a Valentine's gift. I'm usually more of a woody-spicy-oriental kind of girl, but this lovely watery-floral took me by surprise, and makes me look forward to summer. The fruity notes--pear and black currant--seem fairly subdued to me (I don't like smelling edible) but I suspect that's what causes the potentially over-the-top blend of night blooming jasmine, neroli, and frangipani (plumeria) to be light and pleasant instead of headache inducing. There's something deliciously familiar about this scent, and I'm looking forward to wearing it as an everyday scent once the weather warms up--a sweet reminder of my DH.

I'm a newly-minted BPAL fan... Their scents are fabulous... But it's their customer service that's really outstanding. I've seen complaints from people who say the shipping is slow, but all things considered, for a handcrafted product, where you're supporting a small business with an excellent quality product... Elizabeth & Co. are generous, provide an excellent product, and are otherwise exemplary business people. I will happily spend my meager fragrance dollars with them for unusual non-commercial scents. OF COURSE you don't love every fragrance in their line... But does **everyone** love ANY scent? I've tried 10 of their scents, loved 3, liked 4 and been blase about 3...As I only ordered 6 and received 10, I think the numbers are an impressive testimony to BPAL. That's a better ratio than I have with Guerlain!

This is one of those fragrances that makes you feel like you're gorgeous... Full-bodied with lush hips, overflowing bosom and a behind like two puppies wrestling under a blanket. Someone else said it's a "red" scent, and that's a perfect description. On me it's red and wet and juicy and very unique... More fruit than floral, definitely a keeper.

Oh MY! This is an orgasm in a bottle! It reminds me of early college days drinking Chambord (thinking we were sophisticated)in a friend's room with incense and vanilla candles going... Now why did I only get the imp's ear!?! Oh yeah, because this wasn't one of the ones I ordered, it just happened that the lovely and fabulous people at BPAL tend to be *extremely* generous with the samples. Wisely so, since I would never have tried it otherwise, and now I'll be ordering a big bottle.

I'm sure this smells fabulous on someone. Just not me. I liked it when it was spritzed on a test strip, but within a very few minutes after it was sprayed on my skin it was sticky, sickly sweet, cloying and otherwise made me want to go scrub up immediately. In the interest of giving it a fair trial, I left it on until if dried down fully, and about 5 hours after I tried it, I almost liked it. However, there's no way I'm gonna wait 5 hours to feel utterly ambivalent about the way I smell. Thank heavens I did something out of character and tried it before I bought it.

Liked it. Paid $11 for the 3.3 oz. bottle, unsniffed and without reading anything about it first... Very glad I did. On first spray it smelled like hairspray, and I thought I'd flushed the $11, but it quickly dried down to a soft, complex, almost powdery scent. I'm guessing the note I can't identify is probably the pistachio blossom. The vanilla is not overwhelming,in fact, it's hardly noticeable. A nice, soft, comfortable scent I'd be happy to wear to work.

Bliss! Turned up my nose at even trying it for years, but since I read the reviews here, I had to try it (maybe it was someone saying it smelled like linden) Not a big floral fan, but I love this,it's not overpowering, and it really lasts with a clean, slightly powdery, tuberose and linden drydown. Thanks, girlies, y'all steered me right again!
