Eye Primer -Unlisted Brand - MUA (Make Up Academy) Professional Eye Primer
MasksOffMasksOn 8/25/2012 8:58:00 AM
This product is phenomenal! This is The best eye primer I've ever used, and I've used many. This primer glues the Eye shadows to the lids for more than 12 hours, and I'm have very oily ones! I even went to the beach wearing this primer, and is survived the awful humidity with great honor! I took a shower with it- the makeup did not move! Amazing! I didn't really like the applicator, because it's just doesn't do a good job with spreading the product evenly and smoothly, and you can't really get all of the product out of it's package... The best part, however, is it's price: for 1 pound a ridicules price you get this brilliant product, which is so much better than any of my previous expensive primes. So yes I will buy this again! Too Faced-- ba-bye :)

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
MasksOffMasksOn 8/25/2012 8:27:00 AM
I usually really like Maybelline mascaras. They are very good and sold for good prices. With this mascara, however, I didn't connect.. I put the blame on the size and the shape of the brush. My eyes are not so big, even small, and it was just difficult for me to figure out how to use the big brush without messing up the rest of my eye-makeup. This mascara does makes the lashes thicker, longer and curlier. I got a waterproof one, and it will stay for really long hours before it starts to crumble. Next time I will go for a different mascara. To this one I will have to say Goodbye...

Treatments -L'Oreal - Derma Genesis Pore Minimizing Serum
MasksOffMasksOn 8/25/2012 8:15:00 AM
I bought this because I looked for something for oil control. I red the reviews here, and I understood this product will probably work for this purpose. I didn't believe this will help minimize my pores anyways, and I was right. This product is not doing what it promises to do- meaning minimizing pores.. I didn't feel ANY change with my pores size.. With oil control, however, this dose helps a little bit. It doesn't fix the problem completely, but I've noticed that on days I put this Serum on, my skin gets to be less oily, and my make up stays longer. I loved the smell of it, it smells just right! I think the price is pretty good, although the size of the product (15ml) is really small, and won't last long... bottom line: I took one point off because this is not doing anything to minimize pores, which is annoying because that's what it's promising to do.. I would buy this again, however, for the fair price, and for the fact that it does do something to help me with my oily skin.

Lipstick -Superdrug - MUA Lipstick in Shade 15 (Juicy)
MasksOffMasksOn 8/24/2012 5:17:00 PM
I really don't like MUA lipsticks. I know they are very cheap, and maybe one shouldn't expect much. Actually I didn't expect anything really, so I wasn't disappointed when I discovered that these lipsticks worth nothing.. Thy are very moisturized, so they won't stay longer on any lip more then half hour, and this 15 (juicy) lacks of pigment. On the website it looks much darker than it actually is. This color is very light and pale. Big dislike... :(

Concealers -Garnier - Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller
MasksOffMasksOn 8/24/2012 5:06:00 PM
I LOVE THIS! I got this in my glossy-box, and at first I was disappointed. I gave it one try and that was all I needed to know I love it. First, I really liked the roller, I think it's really easy to apply the concealer this way- the way it just travel smoothly under the eye... It's texture is very light and nice, I really like that because a concealer that's heavy only can make the make-up look bad and old. It has nice coverage as well, I don't have dark circles underneath the eyes, but I've noticed that on days my eyes do look kinda tired, this product brightens them up perfectly, and it looks very very natural. So I give 5 on every aspect, and totally buy this again!

Concealers -Maybelline - Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer
MasksOffMasksOn 8/24/2012 4:52:00 PM
I got this in 2. I think this concealer is really good. The truth is I don't have a problem to conceal underneath my eyes so I can't say how this will work on dark circles... I mainly use it to lighten the area underneath the eyes. It dries really fast so you need to work with it quickly. I find this concealer to be a little dry, so I don't think I'll use it on people with wrinkles underneath the eyes. I don't like it's packaging, for you can't get all of the product out of it, and that is why I took one point off...

Tinted Moisturizer -MAC - Studio Moisture Tint SPF15
MasksOffMasksOn 8/24/2012 4:28:00 PM
This product isn't working for me. It's coverage is really poor, so I can't use it as a foundation alone. It does even out the skin, but not if you have blemishes. This will probably fit only someone who has a perfect skin. I found a different way to use it: I mix it with my liquid foundation to make my foundation lighter, that's the only way it works for me... I hated the smell! I don't understand how a company like MAC sells a product that smells so bad.... I did like the packaging for I love tubes :) I would totally save the money and won't spend it on this product again, Sorry!

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Lip Junkie
MasksOffMasksOn 8/24/2012 4:16:00 PM
I got this Gloss in "Naked" with my NAKED2 Palette. Once I've put it on my lips I fell in-love with it. I liked the color, Loved the cool breezy feeling on my lips, I liked the fact that the texture is not so sticky, and I LOVED the packaging. I think that 19$ for a lip gloss is too much, so unless I find it on a good sale- I don't think I will get it again...

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
MasksOffMasksOn 8/24/2012 4:02:00 PM
Overall I think it's a great product for it's value. I use primers to fill my pores. They are kinda big, and honestly I didn't find any primer that actually could make them disappear. I've tried so many primers, including Smashbox, Too Faced, Clarins- I must say: They all do Pretty much the same job. So why paying so much money for a primer? That is why I recommend using L'oreal's- if they all give the same effect, than why not going for the one which costs less? This primer has a creamy-silicony texture, it spreads easily and smoothly, fills my pores nicely (but not perfectly), and makes a great foundation base. I didn't LOVE the jar, for I prefer products in tubes. I would definitely buy this again!

Primer/ Corrector -Too Faced - Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer
MasksOffMasksOn 7/30/2012 3:44:00 PM
My opinion on this primer is diversed. On the one hand, It promises to make my skin look poreless, but my pores didn't go anywhere, even after makeup they are still very visible. I don't even feel it dose anything to help me with my oily skin... But on the other hand, when I used it on someone who has tiny pores, it did a wonderful job, and made the skin all nice and smooth. So I guess this primer just doesn't fit an oily skin with large pores. If I'd buy it again it will be only for my professional work- on people that don't have a problematic skin type, and not for personal use.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
MasksOffMasksOn 7/30/2012 3:23:00 PM
I got this primer after reading so many good reviews on it. I Must say I was disappointed. I guess the expectations were too high... I have to admit that eye shadows on this primer do appear stronger and last longer than without anything under, But this primer holds the eye shadows maybe 9 hours top without creasing, what I've found many other primers do for much less money. I did like the packaging- I love products in a tube :) I also liked the fact that it's a transparent primer. I don't think I'll buy this again, because I would like to try other primers, and because of it's cost.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner
MasksOffMasksOn 7/30/2012 3:15:00 PM
I got this in Black. I bought it since I wanted a fast eyeliner to fit in with my fast daily makeup routine, since for a while I used only gel liners and each time I had to clean the eyeliner brush afterwards- which cost me an expensive time in the mornings :) I chose this one for the good reviews I red on it, for the shape of the brush and for it's good price. I like it- it's a very dark black, which I like, and it will stay on for very long hours. The only reason I took one point off is that after using gel liners I guess nothing will prove to last as long as they.

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Quad 002 Smokey Brun
MasksOffMasksOn 7/30/2012 11:12:00 AM
I really like this palette for it's size- it doesn't take a lot of space in my makeup bag, and for it's natural colors, which I can wear everyday. I like the price too :) What I didn't like is that these shadows are not so pigmented. you must put them on a primer, and even then they won't be too strong. It's OK for an "everyday casual" look, but not if you want to use it for an evening makeup. I won't buy these again because I think there are much better eye shadows in natural colors- of different brands...

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - 6 Piece Eye Brush Set (5 brushes + case)
MasksOffMasksOn 7/30/2012 10:57:00 AM
I ordered this set since I wanted to have few smaller eye brushes to go in my morning makeup bag. These brushes are short in their length, but the Blend, Highlight and the Crease brushes' heads are SO big! Bigger than normal brushes. So you can't really apply eye shadows accurately with them. I've also found the Shade brush to be too small for anything but applying a light shadow in the inner C of the eye. The Smudge brush was too itchy to use around the eye area... The Blend brush even lost some hairs, and that was a big turn off for me... BUT- I've found out that if I use them differently they do a pretty nice job so overall I did find use for them all and after the first not so good impression I had on them, I started liking them. I use the Blend brush as a highlight brush. I use the Highlight brush as a crease brush- it's perfect to blend shadows in that area. I use the smudge brush to conceal tiny areas. I use the crease brush as a shade brush, even though it is a little too big for that. I use the shade brush to apply highlighter in the inner C of the eye. The brushes are "green" and the case is really comfortable to carry while traveling. They are also soft and nice to hold. So- Not a "must have", not even "good to have", but OK to have.

Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Expert Face Brush
MasksOffMasksOn 7/9/2012 2:04:00 PM
I love this! It's just like a kabuki brush, very full and dense, only with short hairs and a long handle. So it's especially great reaching those small areas where a regular kabuki is too big for reaching. It works perfect with applying either mineral makeup or liquid makeup, and I find it's finish really smooth, with no brush traces. Really easy to work with! BUT I did take one star off and here is why: After powdering I like doing my contours with a dark mineral makeup and a kabuki brush, but since this brush smaller than a regular Kabuki, I find it very hard to bland and spread the product nicely. So, bottom line- Great for any kind of foundation, Bad for contouring.
