Shampoo -LUSH - BIG

I have virgin, uncoloured hair which is very healthy and can get oily towards late afternoon, but not overly so. I use this shampoo 3 times a week and love it- but I don't want to use it more than that as I don't want it to strip my hair. That's the advice I would hand out on this one- do not use everyday. But the effects do last, and it's great for volume and works like a deep cleanse, removing build up, products etc. I would not recommend for those who straighten their hair regularly as combined the effects may be too much on your hair. Foams great, smells nice.

THE BEST. No more need said:) (Brilliant for speeding up the clearance of blemished, troubled skin as it's so gentle yet effective. Helped me through the SK II Treatment essence purge reaction like a dream. Everyone I know almost cries when you first introduce them to it- it's like it exposes virgin skin- pure, soft and untouched!!)

I use this every now and then- it's lovely, don't get me wrong, but I can't handle too much of something that is really dessert smelling, it can be too much or me. I like my scent to have a freshness and snap to it, rather than a cloud of something which is heady- this is what this is like. So many will love it, it's delicious- but thought I would warn those who are sensitive to certain fragrances they find overwhelming.

1 for packaging- pick up your act with that Lush! lol other than that I love a lot of Lush products- this is one of my fave's. People have been commenting there is no lather- I thought at first it meant this wasn't working also... but then after a few days of using (because the smell is delicious and not at all overwhelming, like I can find some of the sweeter scents) I realized I hadn't been using any moisturizer on my legs and they were so soft and smooth! (they had been a little dry from using self tanner, and I kept reminding myself to moisturize but kept forgetting in my rush) So this doesn't feel like it's working at first- if anything, your skin almost feels squeaky when you rinse it off- but wow, afterwords it's soft and sented, and it also clears up any spots I have on my chest/shoulders from the heat and sweat etc. So much fun to use on a hot day straight from the freezer! So I don't think it is meant to foam- it would have a foaming agent, and therefore be stripping to the skin. This product is a quiet achiever.

Eye Shadow -Giorgio Armani - Manta Ray #1

Had a friend buy this for me as a gift- it is stunning! Smooth and silky, like the sheer blush. I normally steer away from anything grey toned in eyeshadows as I have brown hair with natural copper type highlights throughout, so a warm brunette, and amber brown eyes, so I like warm tones around my eyes with any colour I go with, be it chocolate, bronze, purples, pinks etc. This colour works without looking cold if that makes sense. It's very striking and you can make it very light and natural but still achieve a noticeable effect. The greige colour has a slight tone of lavender to it almost- this is the secret which I thinks makes it wearable for many eye and skin colours. I will even get my Mum (red hair, green eyes, pale skin) to try it!

Blush -Giorgio Armani - Sheer Blush #2

The smoothest non mineral/non natural blush I have ever used- scrap that- the smoothest blush I have EVER used. Was not expecting much, as the packaging (slap me, I know- packaging effects how WE feel, not our skin:)lol) isn't very exciting to look at. I wish they would add a bit of silver, something- so that when you take out the compact to apply you feel a little more special- and you can show it off, I admit it- I am superficial:) hehe The compact is sturdy though, and a nice shape. But this colour is perfect on me, I am olive toned, medium coloured - this is very noticeable, healthy but natural and gorgeous. Makes me think of a ballerina.... it's graceful-that's how I'd describe it. When I want more punch I add NARS Orgasm on top... this #2 colour is great for blending with any tones of blush/bronzers. Would use on any skin tones, just not those who are too tan or dark-it may just be great for contouring then?

Ok, I think the problem here is my skin is too young still? I don't need any firming etc and my skin is very even and clear (due to the beautiful products I use, after much research, money, and trial and error:) I put this on at night, and upon waking my skin was very oily, (I am naturally oily, but I have used many products which embrace, but not exacerbate this) and it looked like it was suffocating under film which had formed on my skin. So I cannot speak on whether or not it was effective- I can only recommend that younger people with oily/combination skin stay away from this as it's too rich for our skin?

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

Initially I wasn't too impressed, as I was struggling with the texture of a normal blush, after switching to a few pure pigmented mineral blush's that were all natural. The toughest part in the mineral world is finding a colour that isn't so natural it feels invisible upon application, or the colours are like clown makeup. So after gritting my teeth and giving this blush another chance, I found undiscovered talent. This is best applied as the final pop, that extra oomph of colour which makes you like ALIVE and flushed in a sexy, 'natural but she must be faking it way cos it looks so damn good' way! So I layer this blush with a contour powder, then a base of something in a soft natural tone to kick start the base, and add the NARS Orgasm, and voila- I look like I just had one!!!!!!:) (hehe, I know it was cheeky, but c'mon, I had to use that line:) I am very pleasantly surprised to have a product (that I first thought was all gimmick wrapped in a catchy/naughty name that I could truly live without) turn into a staple in my everyday makeup routine.

Hands down my fave mascara to date- so easy to build, doesn't clump and you are get really great separation. It is definitely the easiest mascara to layer once dry. Brush looked ordinary at first, compared to all the flashy gimmicks they are creating in mascara world of late, but it is great to use in a rush! LOVE the container- looks deadly:) My secret weapon- all us girls need one!:)

Undecided. It appears to even out my skin tone- I have only been using it for 2 wks so far- no dryness- like someone else commented, it's actually fairly hydrating! I used it a few nights on my eye area, but was nervous to continue... it had a nice effect but I am worried long term it could be too strong as it's not intended for eyes? Still deciding on this one, time will tell.

Great for gentle maintenance of acne prone skin. I would say it's more effective when used patiently- if you are naughty and squeeze, this product is not as effective. I wait til it's been absorbed then lightly spray the thermal water on top as someone below recommended- it works twice as well like this! Doesn't make your skin red, angry or dry. Heals your blemished skin rather than ATTACKING it like some products ( you know who you are proactive!) Love the ingredient content- doesn't feel harsh chemical like others.

Cleansers -Avene - Cleanance soapless gel cleanser for oily skin

Removes your makeup also, but when used around the eye area the skin feels a bit tight, so I avoid this. Great for oily skin. Would recommend for younger skin under 30, I think it would be too astringent for older skin perhaps? Really is meant to control blemishes etc so why I would say this, as is formulated for young hormonal skin.

Makes your eye area gleam and look radiant. Texture glides on beautifully. Great as a primer for any under eye concealer. You need much less, and your concealer seems to improve in your mind, but really it's because you've prepped your eye area first with this!:)

Lasting me forever because you need the smallest amount! Superb primer. Whenever I get a bit of shine (I wear mineral makeup) I buff my skin with my kabuki brush and it becomes seamless and incredible (because of this product-with other primers underneath it's not quite the same effect) The best part about this is that it is a moisturizer for oily skin which also has micro capsules that stop your oil from shining! When I do shine, it's 1/4 the amount I usually do compared to other primers, and I am talking about effective one's. One of my friends is not too big on products and I am encouraging her into one's I know will be effective for her, and she loves this one, went out and bought it after I gave her a sample of mine to try. I heart Avene- never have I loved so many products from one brand!

For what it seems it is - water in a can, it is expensive, but I am now on my 5th large can! I also carry a small one in my handbag, and take it with me wherever I go, including bike rides, walks etc. Spray it on my man's face when he has been in the sun a lot, or after exercise- he makes a fuss but I know he loves it. Soothes my skin and has been a big part in controlling my oil and also calming my skin. I don't care how ridiculous the price or concept is- this stuff truly works and I cannot rave enough. I always buy an extra can of each at a time so I never run out- that happened once for 3 days before I had a chance to get to the shops- it was hard times I tell you:) I have become dependant on this product as a part of my daily routine so much so it's like breathing! The silica and other components on this water moisturize your skin- I also use it to re set my makeup when I want to freshen up quickly. So it's not just water in a can- it's soft water. It's good for your skin. Hard water can actually dehydrate your skin. Have recommended this to so many people who were sceptics but trusted my word because I am such a product junkie and have never steered them wrong, and they repurchase now also! Noticed immediate effect the first time I ever used this- and ever since my skin has never become the slightest bit dry, not even a hint, and I use acne clearing treatments whenever I have blemishes. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
