I like the coverage on this Concealor. However, I notice that it works better when applied before foundation. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't look as chalky. The highlighting is good but I hate the brush. It's unsanitary and you end up squeezing more product than you need so it become wasteful. The coverage is about medium so if youhave serious eye circles, use a corrector first ( I use Bobbi brown) and then apply for full coverage
Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - 6 Piece Eye Brush Set (5 brushes + case)

I got this at rite aid for 7.99 (Walgreens is more expensive) by the recommendation of a few ladies on the board. I love these things. I believe that the short handle helps you get a good grip and better movement when applying shadows. The brushes can be used for things other than stated (I.e the blending brush for highlighting). The bristles are soft and blend shadow like magic. I noticed no shedding after washing them twice. The holder is pretty cool but because of the light color, has a habit of getting dirty. If you get a chance, try the mini 5 piece face kit. It's awesome as well.
I remember when I first smelt this at 11, I knew right there I love the scent. This is my favorite scent. It's timeless. I wanna say its a slight musk. A little goes a long way and it's beautiful during the day or night. I wouldn't wear this the summer. I find it to be a little over powering. The glass bottle is plain but very chic looking
I like this for spraying my brush with right before I apply my TM or foundation to keep it sheer. I like the scent since it smells floral like but it's not over powering. I don't like to spray it all over my face, I did that and before I walked out the door I noticed my mascara was running a little bit, so I use my Avene thermal water to set my makeup. Maybe it's just me because I'm on a makeup budget, I think 20 bucks is a lot, especially when my Avene Spray is only 11.50.
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
Marchoiness88 4/22/2012 5:29:00 PM
At the recommendation of a few makeupalley members, I tried this....dear sweet baby Jesus, I love this stuff. The packaging has this swivel type mirror that faces up the same way the powder is so you can look in the mirror and apply the powder instead of turning the powder upside down. It's a real fine powder with a bit of sparkle if you turn the pan toward the light, you'll see it. I use this with my Wet N Wild tinted moisturizer, MAC Face and Body and Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation. I use it on justmy tzones and it keeps it Matte for about 5 or 6 hours but when I reapply, I don't get cakey.
This is my HG Night Mascara. This a rich black color and thick formula. It keep the eyelashes curled for a few hours, even when I'm shakin my buns on the dance floor. But because it's not waterproof, it does transfer a little bit underneath the eye. If you don't wear lashes, this is the best mascara for you, also look beautiful with a cat eye. Before you put it on your lashes wipe a little of the formula on a tissue to avoid clumping and your set.
I have extremely curly hair. I brought this Vegas in the middle of July at walgreens. I used it when my hair was wet and this is the best straightener I've ever tried. It left my hair sleek, shiny and my ends for once didn't frizz up. It kept my hair straight for 2 weeks before I washed it. I do reccommend a few things. 1. Use heat protectant on both settings. 2. Don't put oil in your hair before using it, it will make your hair frizzy. 3. Watch your fingers on the wet setting. I burned the balls out of my fingertips numerous times. 4. Use a deep conditioner before use. I use the Queen Helene Cream and i do a hot oil treatment before. 5. Don't use on a constant basis ( we all know this)
Oh man. I love this stuff. I usually use Wet N Wild Tinted Moisturizer in Sunkissed but i decided to splurge and by this after a few reccomendations on Makeupalley. Im N3 (have no idea what that means). At first it seems really light, but once properly blended it becomes one with my skin. It gives a beautiful glow and allows freckles and beauty marks to show through but evens out your skin tone. It does get a little oily after a few hours so use a Matte Powder like Dream Matte by Maybelline to set it and your good to go
I'm in love with is. Seriously, this is the only thing that covers my under eye circles. Its not completely buttery but it's not hard to blend into the skin. It brightens and neutralizes the dark bluish tones I have under my eyes. It stays on for about 8 hours, but you have to set it wi a powder so it doesn't crease. My recommendation is bare minerals concealer or the Coty Airspun powder. My color is medium to dark bisque and it cost me 22 bucks. Awesome product that last for a reall long time. Just tap your finger into the product and tap it on your bags :)
I do love this palette. I actually like all of her palettes. The texture of the shadows are very soft. Silky to the touch and blend like a dream. The pigmentation is good for the darker shadows but the lilac one isn't very pigmented so you may have to pack it on or use it it as a highlight. I gave this a 4 because I actually had the crap out of the cream shadow that was with it. It creases and I actually ended up with some of it smudged under my lower lashline when it was only applied to my eyelid. Overall great palette for us shimmer lovers. You get tons of product so you probably won't need to repurchase for a while
Conditioner -Suave - Naturals Refreshing Waterfall Mist
Marchoiness88 12/15/2011 5:11:00 PM
I have very curly hair (3b n 3c) and I use this as my washing conditioner. This is when you use conditioner to was the hair instead of shampoo. Because its cheap, I also use it along with my mane and tail and castor oil as a leave in conditioner. I get it from cvs for 2.99. Remember to shake it though, I find that sometimes its watery but if I give it a little shake, it'll thicken up slightly.
I love this pen. Its my HG liquid liner. It makes drawing a wing eyeliner so easy. The only thing I wish is that it was blacker. It does stay on for a very long time, even in the desert. It does fade so staying power i would say about 4-6 hours depending on what your actitivty is. Something i love about this liner is that even though it fades, it doesnt run down and smudge under my lower lash line. The directions on the back of the packaging says to store it with the pen tip facing down but i dont reccomend that because it will let loose a butt load of product when you go to use it on your eyelid. Overall, its awesome.
Treatments -TheFACEShop - Blackhead EX Charcoal Pore Strip
Marchoiness88 12/7/2011 3:34:00 PM
I used the aloe vera strip and literally just took this off and I looked at the strip and more than half my blackheads from my nose was on it. I kid you not, this is the best. It get a little weird when it dries because it dries hard and you have to be careful when pulling it off. Make sure your nose is very wet before putting on the strip. This is awesome I can't wait to buy more...for a friggin buck
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner
Marchoiness88 8/18/2011 4:55:00 PM
Seriously, why the he'll won't this liquid eyeliner dry? It's too wet and it smudges like crazy. The only thing I did like about the product was the brush. I threw out the bottom and kept the brush for my gel eyeliners. Makes it easy to apply. Horrible, nothing like what the YouTube reviews say
I bought this after watching a yt video about a gurus foundation routine and I must say, this I one of my best brushes. It doesn't pick up too much product and has an awesome way of making foundation look even. This is so multiple funtional. I use it for my tinted moisturizer, bronzer, powder brush and blush brush. A lot of the times, ELF has promotions so I suggest you stock up because sometime the brushes are sold out. The only complaint I have about the brushes are the handle seems to come out but thats nothing some glue won't fix. I've had mines for close to two years and they get washed every week and there has been no shedding either...
