This is my first foray into sulfate-free hair care and I love this! I had bad dandruff and a terribly itchy scalp and thought I would try to get rid of it by using more natural s & c. First, this shampoo has a bit of a runny texture kind of like a face wash, but it's not something that bothers me. The scent is very pleasant and not overpowering at all...sort of fresh/juicy/minty. I find that my this shampoo effectively cleans my hair without stripping it. Also, my dandruff and itchy scalp is completely gone! I bought the 33.5 oz pump bottle at TJ Maxx for $12.99 so I think the value is definitely there. If there is one thing lacking I would say it is the the moisturizing property, but I just use a good conditioner to solve that problem.
Makeup Brushes -Flirt - Feather Dust-her (aka Skunk Brush)

I think this is my all-time favorite brush! It's cheap ($6), effective and an excellent value for the price. It allows me to create a perfect flush of color on my cheeks with blushes that would otherwise look like "too much" (Cargo Catalina, NARS Torrid). If you don't want to spend the $$$ on the MAC 187 this is a WONDERFUL alternative.
I love this! I've been a faithful user of the Select Cover-Up for under my eyes and thought I would give this new concealer a chance.
The Moisturecover is everything I look for in a concealer: it's not drying, covers well (can be layered for desired coverage without caking), and dries to a satin finish. Good job MAC!
My skintone: MMM/C40/neutral-yellow toned
I love this blush! I usually stick to bronzey/peach/pink blushes (i.e. NARS Orgasm, Torrid) and I did not think I could pull of a cool-toned bright pink. But I was wrong! Catalina gives me a gorgeous fresh, flushed faced without looking muddy like most pinks do on me. If I ever finish this huge tin I will definitely buy this again!
Sunbasque is a Sheertone Shimmer.
This blush is a bronzey/peach with the very *slightest* touch of pink in it. It looks very natural on my C40 skin and I think it will be especially beautiful when I'm a little more tan in the summer. I really like that it's sheer so I don't have to be too careful applying it.
I was worried this would be too similar to NARS Torrid (which I also own), but Torrid is more coral/peach whereas Sunbasque is more bronze/peach.
Edited (4/14/05): I swapped this away because it never ceased to look dirty on me. I think I was trying to convince myself that it looked great on me...blah.
Beautiful terracotta with slight shimmer. Not orange at all, more of a peach toned paint. It really brightens up my eye area and looks wonderful when I wear bronzer. Great summer color for me! (I'm a C40.)
I love this kohl - it's my favorite one! Prunella is a deep plum with slight shimmer. It really brings out my medium brown eyes and I love its creamy texture. I would definitely buy again!
I my feelings for Stripdown are ambivalent. Mainly because it's not a very versatile liner for me (yellow-toned C40). Stripdown really only works if I want a very nude lip look; it looks great with Revealing lipglass. It tones down the pinkness in my lips and allows the Revealing to go on evenly. I think someone with similar color would be better off with Hodgepodge for a more YLBB liner. As for the quality of the liner in general, the price is worth it. It's very creamy (but not overly so) and easy to apply. Another good quality MAC product.
Haven't purchased this but the MAC ma used this on me. It looked pretty bright in the pot, but as others have said, it imparts a very natural glowy look. I thought it would be too orange for my C40 complexion, but I love it! I will probably purchase this in the future.
I didn't purchase this, but I kind of wish I did. The MAC MA used this on my outer corners along with Hush, Paradisco, and Melon pigment and it looked awesome! Orange is a matte and very pigmented so it gave the perfect pop of glowy color. Very nice! Btw, I'm a MAC C40.
Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass stain in Restrained Rust
Manzana 2/21/2003 6:43:00 PM
Restrained Rust is definitely a YLBB color on me. It's a pretty pinky-brown with v.slight silver shimmer. (I'm a C40.) In general, I like the texture of the Lipglass stains and this one is no exception. Great creamy texture, minimal stickiness, and great staying power. Would purchase again if I ever ran (which I don't think I will).
I've had this product for about 6 months so I think it's about time that I review it. This is my first Multiple (and cream blush for that matter) and I think it's a great product. I don't use it as a 3 in 1 but rather just as a blush. The color, Malibu, is a great cool berry with a hint of shimmer (barely visible). It gives me a wonderfully natural flush that doesn't change colors as the day goes on. I'm glad I purchased this. I do, however, have one complaint. After twisting the base a little to move the product up, it won't go back down. As a result, some of the product got smushed in the cap when I closed. Not too big of a deal but for $33 you'd think these sort of things would be ironed out.
I absolutely love Unity! This is my second Glossimer (my first being Spark) and I am very happy with my purchase. On me, Unity is a beautiful sheer rosey bronze with subtle shimmer. Like my other Glossimer it is shiny and its thick texture makes sure it stays put even after eating. Definite rave!
I'm a MAC C4 and I never thought I could wear peachy colors - Orgasm seems to be the exception. I absolutely love this blush! It gives me a wonderful glowy look that I get compliments on. I would definitely purchase again, but I don't think I will have to for a long, long time.
Styling Products -TiGi - Bed Head Control Freak Serum

I'm not impressed with this product at all. It doesn't do too much for my frizzies and it makes my hair clumpy. Also, it makes my hair feel like it's coated. Thumbs down.
