Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish in Magnolia Pearl

A great buy. Pretty pearl colour, long-lasting, & cheap - what more can you ask for? It goes on nicely with a very shiny finish. I usually wear this on my toes, and my sister recently asked me where I went for my pedicure, because they did such a nice job with the polish! She was quite shocked when I told her I was sporting cheap Rimmel polish and that I had done it myself.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Fiction Eyeshadow [DISCONTINUED]

I haven't worn greens for awhile, but I am glad that I decided to give them another go with Fiction. It is a flattering shade of olive green with a bit of shimmer. Great for hazel eyes, it is perfect for the smoky-eye look without being too harsh or intense looking. I've been pairing this with Vex and the two shades seem to compliment each other quite well.
Prunella is a very deep plum colour. It is great for a smokey eye look, being intense without being over the top. I was a little dissatisfied with the texture of this kohl however; it doesn't go on as smoothly or nicely as the others I have purchased, such as Teddy. I find that I have to "work" with it more to get good results.
I don't normally wear mauves, but I was in a spring mood when I picked this up. Crystal is a very pretty shimmery lilac/silver colour, and I love this for work. I wear alot of grey & black clothes to the office, and this gives my eyes a bit of sparkle. It does seem less pigmented than other MAC e/s, and it goes on very sheer. The SA showed me how to build this up with a stiff brush, and I am now using this technique with Vex as well.
Love the product, hate the containter! Boy Toys comes in a container similar to what mousse comes in. It is almost impossible to get just a small amount of product out, which is really all you need. However, I do like how this works with my shoulder length, wavy hair. It defines my waves and gives me a bit of shine. It is a shame that so much gets wasted with the useless container, considering I paid $24.95 Cdn. for this! I would only repurchase this if they came up with new packaging.
This is my first Stila e/s and now I know what the fuss is all about! Golightly is a lovely rich olive/brown with shimmer, and it looks great with hazel eyes. This is highly pigmented as well - more so than any other brand I have tried - and it goes on with a simple sweep of the brush. Very easy to blend. I could only give this a 4 rating though because of the packaging. $26 Canadian + tax for cardboard? Great product, but cheap & flimsy container. For that price I expect something more durable, esp. since not everyone wants to go the route of palettes.
I had a hard time with the price of this - $34 Canadian - but I handed over my credit card anyways at the BeneFit counter! The MA tried it on me and I had to purchase this, it gives me the prettiest pink glow on my cheeks. I wasn't sure if this would work for me (MAC NC30) but surprisingly it does - I look much perkier in Dandelion than my usual blush. The packaging is cute, but I do wish it was in something more durable. (You can't exactly just toss the little box in your makeup bag or purse!)
Huge rave here for Sugar Lipgloss. It is a very pretty colour, a dark muted pink with a hint of shimmer. What I love about it is the fact that it goes on so sheer and natural looking. This gloss is not at all tacky feeling on, which is a big plus. Pleasantly scented as well. Without a doubt, this is something I will repurchase.
I was leery of Tittle Tassle because it looked a little too peachy for me in the tube. Am I ever glad I went ahead and bought this - it is definitely my YLBB shade - a perfect nude. Lovely shine, not at all tacky feeling. If this is a limited ed. item, I am going to stockpile!
My face gets dry, flaky patches in the winter, especially on my cheeks, and SMF gives me the moisture boost I need. It is velvety-soft, absorbs quickly in my opinion, and is great under makeup. I have paid alot more for other moisturizers that have been a big disappointment - this one is a good product for a fair price. My only quip is the bottle - it is hard to get that last bit of product out!
The thing I love about the X formula is the brush. This one really works for me - it gives me nice, thick, full lashes without clumps. This is the only mascara, of any brand, that I have ever repurchased. I never experienced flaking or smudging, nor the dreaded "raccoon eyes", but then again I only wear mascara on my top lashes so perhaps I'm not the best judge of that! I would recommend giving this formula a try if your lashes are on the sparse side, like mine.
Powersurge is a lovely & unique colour, a sort of tarnished or antique gold. Very flattering for hazel eyes. Like all other MAC Khohls, it glides on & blends easily for a soft look. I highly recommend this one - such a nice change from the usual browns that I wear!
Soba is a lovely golden brown colour, sort of a caramel shade with a hint of shimmer. This has quickly become one of my favorites - a soft neutral, great for when you don't want anything too intense.
After reading rave reviews for Teddy, I tried to get my hands on this for 6 weeks - my MAC counter was always out of stock! Well, it was worth the wait. Teddy is a beautiful coppery-brown, great for hazel eyes. My husband never comments on my makeup, but he did notice Teddy the first time I had it on, and told me that my eyes looked so pretty!
Styling Products -Citre Shine - Highly Polished Glossing Pommade

A great inexpensive product. I use just a tiny bit of this to keep my hair smooth, tame flyaways, and give it a bit of shine. It has a pleasant, citrus-y scent. For less than $5 Cdn. this was a great find - it will last for ages.
