this product is a must have during the winter time! i have very dry skin in the winter and this primer helps my foundation look flawless when my skin is patchy and flacky from the dryness. i also found that after use of this primer everyday in the winter, it actually helps with the dryness and keeps my skin hydrated and soft even after i removed the makeup.
Foundations -Stila - Natural Finish Oil Free Makeup

i like this foundation. i was shocked when i first tried it in a sample size and found the coverage to be very natural (it give a medium coverage). the finish is velvity. i like this foundation it feels natural on my face and is not too thick. i also found that i dont get dried out using this product and that it does not settle on my dry patches.
Tinted Moisturizer -Stila - Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

This is the greatest light weight tinted moisturizer for everyday wear. its so easy and natural i just love it. great to use when you are in a hurry and dont really care for a full coverage. if you just want to even out ur skin tone a little and run out the door, this is the product for you.
Powder -Bare Escentuals - BareMinerals foundation #2.3 Medium Beige

Like many, i have gone through the whole mineral makeup phase. for some people this works great; but for others, it was never meant to be. i consider myself one of those people who this product was just not meant for. if you are anything like me and suffer from dryness in some areas of your face, i would not recommend this product for you. it settles into your dry patches, and accetuates them. I looked like i was peeling after an application of this. i suggest buying or grabbing a sample of this product before you purchase the entire kit (i made that very costly mistake). try it out for a couple of days and see if it works for you. for me and my mom, we both found out that it wasnt for us (my mom has oily skin, and she didnt like it either; said it didnt cover enough for her).
I am sooooo sad about this purchase. i definately would not recomend buying this product if you are planning on using it as an all over face foundation. i now just use it as a huge tub of concealer because this formula is waaaay to thick and sticky to wear on my entire face. it definately makes my face feel thick and cakey. the coverage was ok. it covers mole and red spots, but did not cover my undereye darkness without looking thick and artificial. i am soooooo sad, words cannot describe my sadness. i wasted 32$ for this crap! i have soo many concealers (than are better than this) i didnt need another. its just collecting dust after 2 tries. do not buy this product i warn u!!! there are much better products out there that gives a full coverage and does not feel thick and cakey or sticky. stay away from this thing.
I absolutely love this product!!! OMG! this gloss has the most ammaaazzziiiiinnnggg texture and consistency on the lips. It feels like i have an ultra hydrating lip balm on my lips when i use it! if any of you are looking for an overall great gloss, (great pigmentation, great texture, very insignificant floral scent, great hydration, great packaging etc.) this is the gloss for you! i have this in 3 colors and i love every single one. the applicator is a doe-foot tip that is sort of softer and more flexible than a usual doe-foot (which makes for an even, smooth, and soft application). i love this gloss more than my dior ulra shine lippies (i have 5 of those; i was in love with the packaging! lol im a sucker for packaging, and now i hardly use those because i love this gloss sooooo much better). i think this is a high end gloss that you will not regret buying.
i love this liner. its sooo very affordable and will not fade or droop down ur face throughout the day. this is my everyday liner. and the applictor makes it easy for anyone who can hold a pen or pencil to use this liner.
i have this gloss in three shades, and my favorite is OM. this gloss is what i reach for when my lips are dry and chapped and i still want color to them. this gloss has a fair amount of pigmentation but is still on the sheer side. this gloss helps moisturize my parched lips and i love the way it feels on my lips sooo soft and smooth.
i have stocked up on these lovely lippies!!! this is the yummiest scented liplite ever!!!!! everytime i open it i wana lick the wand. lol. its a very wearable color for everyday wear, it is very moisturizing and not sticky at all on the lips. soooooo affordable and just a must have for the scented lip gloss lover like me!!!! this is something i always have around.
i own all of the lorac mocktails and have 4 of this particular one. i love this lip gloss. it is moisturizing and smells amaaaaaazing. i like the color because it is sheer but it still has slight pigmentation (enough to add color to any lip). it is also not sticky and will last a good amount of time on ur lips. i am a scented lip gloss junkie and love any lippie with a scent. this was such a devine scent! yummmmmmmm like a fruity candy that ive eaten when i was younger...cant place the name however. definately buy these right now!!! lorac is having a sale and these little puppies are going for only $3 a piece! stock up while you can.
Powders -Smashbox - Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder

i have actually bought many backups of this product! i love the hydration that this product provides (it does not accentuate my dry patches when i have them). this is an awesome product for people with dry skin. however, i have found that this is best applied with a course brush to ensure the product does not look thick...a soft kabuki brush will make ur face look thick with makeup. otherwise, when u get the application down, ull love this product (i love this product for the winter months when my skin is extra dry.) it is very expensive, but u do get a looot of product for the money.
i bought 4 of these!!! this is by far the best liquid foundation that i have ever used (and i have used a whole lot). i have finally found my holly grain foundation. i will continue using this for as long as i live! lol...or as long as the product lives. if u are questioning yourself whether or not to buy this product (because of the hefty price tag), do it! u will not regret it! it hides all of my imperfections, and a little goes a really long way! it also keeps my extra dry skin moist and flawless. i am sooooo in love with this product! and the packaging is amazingly beautiful and simple. Dior is becoming more and more my favorite cosmetics line...well worth the money.
Lip Gloss -Philosophy - Very Emollient Lip Shine - s'mores
Makeuploverlynie 7/23/2010 4:32:00 PM
This lip shine is by far my favorite one that philosophy has carried (i own almost all of them). this was one of the very first lip shines by philosophy that i bought. i loved it sooooo much that i basically started a collection of all of their lippies. but sadly, i only love this one the most. it smells sooooooo faboulous. and like all of their other products, is very moisturizing on the lips and is not sticky at all. i love this lippie and think that it was worth every penny (bought it for $8 at sephora).
Lip Gloss -Philosophy - Vanilla Birthday Cake Flavored Lip Shine
Makeuploverlynie 7/23/2010 4:24:00 PM
Overall, i do love this lip shine by philosophy. The scent is delightful, it smells like (the always too sweet to eat) frosting that is usually found on top of our birthday cakes. everytime i have one of those cakes, the smell of the frosting makes me want to stick my finger in the cake and lick off some frosting. but everytime i do, i realize that its waaaaaay too sweet to actually eat. This lip shine allows me to enjoy the frosting without cringing from the aftershock of sweetness. i love this lip shine and i buy them in bulk and i have them stocked up. i give this to my friends on their birthdays along with a card. Perfect present and not too costly. oh, and like all the other philosophy lip shines, this lip shine gives a beautiful sheen to my lips, its not sticky, and its very moisturizing.
Lip Gloss -Philosophy - Powdered Sugar Cookie Lip Shine
Makeuploverlynie 7/23/2010 4:14:00 PM
This lip shine by philosophy isn't one of their best. It definately does not smell like sugar cookies and personally gives me a head ache when i first apply it. The smell is a little sickening! However, do not hate philosophy lipshines just because of this particular scent! I am like many, a lippie-aholic, and i have many more philosophy lip shines and even a couple lip gelato, and i love the majority of their lippies. They are great on, they are all sheer and i personally like that for an everyday lippie. They last a good amount of time, and the tubes are quite large (very generous amount of product). oh and they are very moisturizing on the lips and they are by no means sticky. I would suggest that you try another scent...if u really are looking for an emolient scented one and not a citrus scent. (my favorite lip shine by them so far is the ooey gooey s'more).
