Styling Products -Suave - Touchable Finish extra hold hair spray

I'm giving this product a medium to low review. I read about it on the website and was excited to use it. I am African-American and was looking for a styling spray that wouldn't leave a residue on my hair, but hold it and at the same time allow me to touch it if I so chose without messing up the style. I bought the extra hold and have been using it for the last two weeks. I can say that this spray leaves my hair a little sticky, but holds it down. I don't know if I should just have bought the lightweight hold, but this extra hold I'm leaning towards a thumbs down. Packaging is so cute. I'd prefer a spray. Upon looking on the website one is not advertised, but after googling it-there it was. Maybe the spray will behave better. (it was also unavailable when I went to Target to purchase this spray) As for flaking I think it is guilty of this as well.
First off, I'll explain the packaging grade. I gave it a four because I know some makeup professionals will say there's a contamination possibility, but of course the best way to combat that is to just use your spatula and scoop some out. I bought two different jars (tan and nutmeg) 1+ years ago and am still using it. Granted, I use the tan for my eyebrows and the nutmeg when I want to conceal a blemish (I don't usually have any). I love this concealer. The price is awesome, which pulls me right in.
I heard about this product from a YouTube personality (pixiwoo) a few years ago and purchased it. I still have the same 500ml bottle I bought in 2009 and its 2011. Granted, I alternate makeup removers, but I love this product. It doesn't burn when it gets in my eyes, it removes all the makeup, I don't have to scrub the makeup off. I am not allergic to it. I just wish it was more readily available. I got it off ebay for $23.60 (with shipping).
I love this product. I was using regular baby shampoo and CVS brand brush cleaner, but on a whim I purchased this at Frends Beauty Supply in Los Angeles and have never looked back. I wish it were available at more beauty supply stores. The scent is strong and citrus (orangey) and it dries fast. I bought a 8oz bottle for $12. Next time, since I'm too lazy to drive over there, I'll just get the 16oz bottle for $15.

Love this product. was introduced to it back in 1999 when I was in high school as an awesome clarifying shampoo to "get all that residue out of your hair" & its awesome. Every person (stylist or or regular person) whom I've told about it and has bought it have LOVED it. Strips product out of hair and a good scalp cleaner; though, I wouldn't advise using it on dyed hair.

I saw these brushes on YT and it took me two weeks before I decided to get them. For someone just starting out they are a great buy, over 7 brushes for $20 plus a traveling set. I love the feel and texture of the huge powder brush. I love them! The only thing is I wouldn't have made the colors black and white. They're still nice though. They clean well, easy to handle, and very versatile.
I stumbled on these brow pencils because it somehow ended up in my makeup kit. I started using it (midnight brown) and I haven't changed since. They're like $1.07 for a double pack at Walmart and I love them. They're applying capability I give a 3 out of 5 because they seem to go on better when they're sharpened at a fine point. So I guess these are hard kohl's not soft. Still wonderful though.
I got this product and it wasn't my shade. Okay, that's fine, but I wouldn't buy this foundation ever again because they don't have a lot of shade ranges.
I love love love this gloss. This is my fail safe gloss. My best friend introduced me to this gloss like 5+ years ago and I have never forgotten it. I always keep it in my purse. I can 'fix' any lipstick or lipliner with this gloss. Too pink, too brown too anything I just add this gloss (this specific shade) and it fixes the problem. LOVE IT!!!
Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I got these from an open air market and I liked them. The only thing I did NOT like was the size of them. I have to use like 3-4 of them to get all of my makeup off and then one last one to clean up the mess that getting the makeup off created. I'd get them again if they were cheap like they were initially ($1-$2).
Cleansers -Equate - 3-1 Facial Cleansing Towelettes

I bought these wipes in the two for pack that Walmart sells them for. They were an excellent deal, BUT I found that my skin was too sensitive for them. I noticed when I used them the skin around my eyes was red, sore and they actually scratched me. Yikes! I think the material of the wipes was too rough for me, but they did get my makeup off.
I was introduced to this product by my hair stylist and have never regretted it. I used to buy it from K-mart for $2.49, but now Walgreens carries it for like $3 something. I wish it weren't so expensive (carmex is $.89 at walmart), but I still buy it. It was on sale for like $1.99 one week and I bought all that they had. It makes my lips feel soft and ads a nice gloss to them. It smells like dark chocolate and faintly of peppermint. It has vitamin E and I've noticed my lips are softer. Though, if you like the icy (eucalyptus) feeling blistex or carmex gives you this product is NOT for you. I love it and will continue to buy it.
I bought this product because Pixiwoo on YT mentioned she loves it, uses it on her clients and none have complained it was too harsh. I needed somehting for sensitive skin and I have not been disappointed. I bought it (250ml bottle) sometime last year and have yet to get to the middle of the bottle. I had to buy it from ebay.com, but I love this product. I use a cosmetic round, squirt a little, tap it on my eyelid and watch the makeup disappear. There's no rubbing furiously at all. I have to go over my eyeliner and mascara to extra times, but it all comes off.
Love it!!! I bought like three at a time and they actually work. I didn't have to shave my legs as often.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Schick - Quattro for Women

I get my schick quattro from an open air market and I love it! I never regretted using these four blades. I actually have the one for men (titanium), but I've used the one for women. I love them both! I love how close the shave is and that I don't have to shave as often.
