Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm

I like this one better than the rosebud salve, because it smells better and the consistency is thicker, which I like, because my lips are always drying out. I take off one lippie because the tin is a pain in the butt to open/close sometimes. It's MUCH better than the lip balm I was using before, the Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm. Quite moisturizing!
Ok I REALLLY wanted to like this lip balm....but it really dried out my lips, especially during the winter time. My lips have been getting really cracked and feathery around the edges and I think its the peppermint oil that's drying them out :( I LOVE LOVE LOVE the consistency though, not too waxy or gummy or greasy, just right! (That's where the two lippies come from) I just wish it didn't come with peppermint oil; otherwise I would consider purchasing this again. Oh well, the search continues for my HG lip balm.

I only got a sample from Sephora, but WOW! I already noticed a huge difference in my skin from only using it a couple of times. My skin was smooth and satiny with no flakes or anything whatsoever. Now that I've run out of the sample, my skin has gone back to being dull and flaky. Even when I put my moisturizer on, it doesn't feel like it's sinking into my skin like it did before. I am definitely running back to Sephora and picking up a bottle of this stuff ASAP!
Great stuff! Makes my skin really glow and look super smooth. I used to have acne and I have a few scars and lines on my forehead but after using this for two weeks, its really minimized the appearance of my flaws! NOTE: This is NOT a moisturizer, alot of reviewers have been saying they're disappointed because its not moisturizing, well that's b/c its not meant to be one! You have to use it in conjunction with your regular moisturizer, because this is just a facial treatment. Due to the thick consistency and tendency to look like you just slapped a greasy burger all over your face after applying this, I would recommend putting this on your face at night ONLY. But you will love your skin in the morning!

Great moisturizer for normal/combination skin! I have smooth, glowing skin after using this for awhile in combination with Prescriptive's Vibrant. I agree that the smell could be improved upon but it won't turn me away from buying it again.
I didn't like this as a bronzer at all, it didn't show up on me, even when I would apply it several times with a brush. I didn't really see any shimmer either. It smelled good though and the packaging was cute, although a mirror would've been nice. I would recommend Nars Laguna Bronzer over this one.
Ok I gave in yesterday and decided to see what all the hype was about....now I can understand why!! I have been using a cream blush (Club Monaco) for the past year and it doesn't give me the shine that I have with this!! Plus, NARS is one of my favorite makeup brands so I know they always put out high quality stuff, even if it is expensive. Its pinky-peach with gold shimmer and I think its something I'd wear at night or maybe during the daytime when I'm not at work....its very bright, especially for those with fair skin. But well worth the buy AND the hype!
I hated this, it made my cuticles oily looking and even after I applied it, it wouldn't sink into my nails and just stayed on the surface looking greasy. The packaging was HORRIBLE! I bought a tiny dropper bottle (instead of the squeezable kind) that cost me a fortune (as far as cuticle creams/oils go) and the dropper came out of its top and now I can't use it without spilling oil everywhere. I will definitely NOT be buying this again.
Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

I love this product! It really softens up my cuticles and keeps them from being dry, until I wash my hands, but even then it continues to moisturize! I have tried OPI's Avoplex oil and it doen't work half as well as Burt's Bees. PLus, the smell is heavenly!! I love the lemon smell, its really refreshing and light!
Hair Styling Tools -Farouk CHI - Chi Ceramic Flat Iron by Farouk

OH MY GOD!! My hair has NEVER been straighter or better looking in 21 years!! This is DEFINITELY my HG for hair! For years, my hair has been untamable, until now. Even though the price is astronomical, I can see that every single dollar is worth it. Now, instead of complaining that my hair is too poofy, I can honestly say its a little too flat!!
I liked this a lot, I use it a couple of times a week and voila!--my skin looks fresh and clean, no flakes! That's the biggest problem with my skin, is flaking and acne. This helped to rid the flakiness and the clarifying cleanser got rid of my acne!
I didn't really like this product only because it did the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do---it dried my skin out!! I kept getting flakies and the more I used it, the drier my skin got. The only thins I liked were the smell (this wonderful peach scent) and the packaging is nice. But overall, the results were less than great. I would have to say that I would not buy this again, even though I love Murad and its one of my favorite skincare lines.
Loved it!! Great gloss, perfect for the summer b/c it goes on light and shimmery but its also sheer enough to just make it a barely there pink!
Styling Products -Citre Shine - Shine Miracle Anti-Frizz Polisher
MakeUpJunky7 6/9/2003 4:39:00 PM
It didn't help much with my hair, which is KNOWN for being frizzy and it definitely didn't polish it. Actually I noticed that it makes my hair oily and weighs it down, especially if I apply it near the roots of my hair. Overall, I wouldn't buy this product again, it just dried out my hair.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve

I have both the strawberry and the original rosebud version and they're both really great. I use only kiehl's lip balm and smith's rosebud salve on my lips. Leaves a good feeling on the lips, but sometimes it feels a little too heavy for me, so i then I use kiehl's.
