I am floored by the low reviews on this because this is now my favorite and probably will become my signature fragrance. I got a sample at Sephora and this blends with my body chemistry better than any fragrance I have ever used. I get so many compliments when I wear this. I love it... After a week, I knew this was for me and suited me perfectly so I immediately ordered both the parfum and the body oil spray... it is so soft and seductive and warm... I agree the packaging is just so impractical. The tall, slender bottles are beautiful, but I am terrified I will drop them or knock them off my vanity. When you find something that suits you this well, you don't want anything else. My other fav fragrances are Philosophy Pure Grace and Cashmere Mist. Body is in the same soft, clean, but sexy, sorta of powdery, family, but it takes it up to another level. I hate that it is so expensive, but I don't think I will be without this fragrance now. Highly recommend.
Wow, what a find. Oh the money I have spent on powder foundations. I still love my MAC Studio Fix and MSN or Careblend .... but this will be in my daily routine from now on. I apply with a damp Beauty Blender sponge and it looks in incredible and lasts longer than almost everything else. I wear the lightest color, Laurel Nude and I am NW20,... this is perfect... love love love. AND comes the closest of anything I have tried to keeping my tzone shine free and doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin.. Run, don't walk and get this ladies!
Treatments -Clinique - Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle and UV Damage Corrector

I have been using this for a couple of weeks and while I can't comment yet on it's miracle claims... I can tell you that this is not an oily serum at all.. it applies well and absorbs quickly, does not make my oily tzone shiny and I have found that it works really well as a primer... I put this on bare skin in the morning, then my sun screen and them my foundation... usually a powder foundation... and i find that I am not getting near as shiny during the day and my make up stays on really well ... pretty sure this product is what is making the difference.. I put it on at night too... I will update my review in a month or so on the effects.
Toners -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner
MaggieBen 2/5/2010 8:00:00 PM
Boy, am I glad I tried this... I have sensitive, combo/oily skin so I kept trying to use Paula's products for oily, combo skin... little did I know that her skin recovery line for very dry skin would be just what my skin needs. I tried this when my skin was very irritated and I was amazed at how soothing and calming it was to my skin... now I use the skin recovery toner and moisturizer and my skin couldn't be better. This is major HG for me.
Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant

Another HG from Paula for me... this along with some other of her products has given me the skin I always wanted... I alternate nights with this, prescription Retin A, and Paula's AHA gel... and my skin has transformed from extremely sensitive, reactive, acne prone, combo skin into normal skin... I love this stuff... I won't be with out it.
Cleansers -Paula's Choice - One Step Face Cleanser-Normal to Dry Skin
MaggieBen 2/5/2010 7:49:00 PM
This has become my HG cleanser... I swore by Purity or Cetiphil for years, but when I started using this regularly (along with several other Paula products) my sensitive, flaky, combo skin has turned into the skin I always wanted. I use prescription Retin A and had flaky skin all the time... Since I stopped Purity, started using this... my skin has really evened out, and seems more balanced and I have been able to increase my use and strength of the Retin A... I am thrilled! .This does not remove eye makeup as well as Purity... and I wear heavy duty waterproof, eye shadow, liner and mascara...so I use a eye make up remover by Clinique and then cleanse with this. I couldn't recommend this higher... especially if you have sensitive, easily irritated skin like me.
I believe I have found a HG liquid foundation. Due to the raves, I bought this in #4 and it is a near, perfect shade match. I would keep it for that reason alone, as I have never found a shade perfect match in a liquid foundation, but this lives up to the hype for me. It goes on beautiful ( I use damp Beauty Blender sponge), wears well, does not change color and stays on all day. I could never find a color match in EL Double Wear, so when I heard this being compared to DW, I had to try it. To me, this looks more natural that DW... It's my skin... just much much better, with redness covered. DW always looked like a mask on me. I have combo skin and this does NOT keep my t-zone matte all day, I do have to touch up with powder, but it keeps my face looking better, and almost matte more so than any other foundation ever has. I love the pump bottle... two pumps covers my whole face perfect. This will last awhile, and I am glad because it is also the most I have ever paid for a foundation. In this case, it's worth it. I will re-purchase.
'Well, surprise to me... with my very, very sensitive, combo skin, prescrip Retin-A using, Beautypedia faithful, self... I never thought I would able to use any of the numbered Clinique toners due the alcohol ( and Paula B's preaching against them)... Like so many of you I got this in a GWP and amazingly, this alcohol, menthol toner works great on my skin! I now alternate between the no-number mild, the number one and number two Clinique exfoliating lotions... I also have a small bottle of number 3 that I use to spot treat acne. And my skin is looking really good. I now recommend to those with very sensitive skin to give these a try. The SA at the Clinique counters would try to convince me the alcohol was cosmetics grade and to giv e it a try and I never listened until I tried the GWP sample. Oh. well... I am very pleased to find a toner I really like.
Eyeliner -Clinique - Cream Shaper for Eyes-Egyptian
MaggieBen 7/29/2009 9:56:00 PM
I have dark brown eyes and hair and never even considered trying a green eye liner until I kept reading rave reviews about this color. So, I bought the pencil. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I couldn't believe how good this looked on me... it's a very deep green with some gold shimmer... it's so pretty because it's not a very obvious green... it's softer than black but a perfect neutal eye liner. I liked it so much I also bought brown sugar and love it too.. And it stays on great... The Clinique Cream Shapers stay on me just as well as gel long wear eye liners do. Now, if I could just find the eyptian color in the Clinique Gel Eye liner... but, it was a limited edition and I can't find it anywhere.
Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
MaggieBen 10/31/2008 2:05:00 PM
My very first review on MUA and I am amazed it's this product. After the endless search for a decent primer, and reading here and elsewhere over and over about this, but refusing to buy something by Monistat for my face... I finally broke down at RiteAid last night and bought the last two tubes they had. Cause I was just so curious more than anything else. Actually wearing it today as a face primer, and as it's intended use in other areas... I can't believe how well this stuff has worked as makeup primer today... my makeup has stayed put and looks fresh and clean..(from 7a.m.. to 3 p.m. so far) . I have had very little shine.... granted it's the first day... but, I am amazed... I hope it keeps working like this... I put on my facial mositurizer with SPF, let that dry... then put the Monistat on top of it... let that set and then put on Halo power... And as a side note... it's pretty danged good for other areas with some skin irritation too...
