Lip Gloss -Fusion Beauty - Lipfusion Infatuation
rated 5 of 5

I have this in "screen siren" and I absolutely love it. This shade is a deep red colour that goes on almost like a lipstick. I got it from ebeauty.ca for $30, and I love it for special occasions. I feel like lipstick looks too old-fashioned on me, so this gloss is perfect for when I want a bold, red lip. I can't say much for the plumping effects...I didn't really notice anything dramatic, but the colour and coverage is great and it lasts a long time for a gloss.

Lipstick -Lipstick Queen - Oxymoron

I bought it from ebeauty.ca for about $17. This is a really good product to simplify your everyday makeup. I have the "minor crisis" shade, which is a girly, rosy pink, and it looks lovely as a lip colour or cheek colour. It's great if you want something that looks natural, but better!

Lip Gloss -Lipstick Queen - Fired Up
rated 5 of 5

I LOVE this gloss. The formula is great..long-lasting and not too sticky, but what makes this stand out is the colour. It's sheer but still bright red so it's perfect for when you want a dramatic, polished lip that's not too overdone. I got it from ebeauty.ca for $16, so the price is right too. The built-in brush applicator is alright...not my favourite way to apply lip gloss but it's not a big deal.

Lipstick -Lipstick Queen - Pink Sinner

This is one of the best lipsticks I've ever tried. The colour goes on so smooth and it doesn't dry out my lips, plus it lasts a long time without flaking or looking sloppy. I rarely wear lipstick because it never lasts longer than 10 minutes on me but this the exception. It's good value too...I got it from ebeauty.ca for $16, which is a great deal for such a stellar product.

Moisturizers -Stila - STILA SHEER COLOR TINTED MOISTURIZER
rated 5 of 5
MaddieEvans 1/5/2012 10:33:00 AM

This tinted moisturizer is perfect for my skin. I don't have a ton of imperfections, and this just evens out my skin without looking fake or pasty, and it stays moisturized without being greasy. I got it from ebeauty.ca for $45, which I think is worth it for the results (especially since I would mix foundation and moisturizer, which was way more expensive). Overall this is a great product for someone who doesn't want a lot of coverage but to still look polished.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Eyeshadow
rated 5 of 5

Stila eyeshadow (specifically the espresso shade) is my new favourite! I got it from ebeauty.ca for around $25, which is a fair amount more than my usual brand but I love the colour and it had lasted quite awhile. A little bit really does go a long way, and it blends really easily. The espresso shade is perfect for a neutral look that's just a tad dramatic. Love!

Hair Styling Tools -Ted Gibson - Professional Flat Iron Model 1089
rated 4 of 5
MaddieEvans 1/4/2012 3:04:00 PM

This iron works great, the high heat setting straightens my hair very fast and it stays straight until I wash it again. I also use it to add waves to my hair and they last a really long time even if I don't use hairspray. It got this iron for $192.50 from ebeauty.ca and I see myself using it for a long time so it's definitely worth it.

Conditioner -Ted Gibson - Individual Color Captivating Copper
rated 5 of 5
MaddieEvans 1/4/2012 2:18:00 PM

I've tried both the shampoo and conditioner and they are both fantastic. It's pricey (I got the 10oz bottle for $27.50 from ebeauty.ca) but the results are definitely worth it, I don't think I've ever felt that way about a shampoo before. But it makes my hair so shiny and vibrant and soft. It's great for hair that's dyed red because that colour can fade so quickly, like in just a couple washes, and these products really help maintain that bright shade for longer.

Lotions/ Creams -Lavanila - The Healthy Baby Butter
rated 4 of 5

I wanted to try this product because I have very sensitive skin, and this stuff worked like a charm. It leaves my skin really smooth and soft, and I love that is has natural ingredients. I got it for $15 from ebeauty.ca, so it's a good price and it moisturizes my skin as well as the stuff I was using from lush which is like twice the price.

Fragrances -Lavanila - Vanilla Grapefruit ROLLER BALL
rated 5 of 5
MaddieEvans 1/3/2012 2:45:00 PM

I tried this fragrance because I love citrus and vanilla, and this scent does not disappoint. It's very fresh and girly but not too sugary sweet. I bought it from ebeauty.ca for $20 so it's super affordable, and I like the simplicity a lot more than more big-name designer perfumes.

Lip Gloss -Lavanila - HEALTHY LIP SHINE - Pure Vanilla
rated 5 of 5
MaddieEvans 1/3/2012 2:28:00 PM

I absolutely love this gloss. I don't usually wear a lot of stuff on my lips so I stick to sheer gloss or lip balm, and this stuff is perfect. The most unique thing about it is the smell and taste--it really smells amazing and tastes great too (not that you should eat it). The ingredients are also pretty natural and chemical free, and it doesn't dry out my lips.

Scrubs -June Jacobs - Mandarin Polishing Beads
rated 4 of 5
MaddieEvans 12/21/2011 1:34:00 PM

This face scrub smells amazing! It has a lot of natural, plant-based ingredients so it smells very fresh, fruity and citrusy and it doesn't irritate sensitive areas on my skin. I use it every day and I've noticed my complexion is a lot smoother and brighter. It is expensive (I bought it from eBeauty.ca for about $50) but it's one of the only face scrubs I've tried that gets rid of dead and dry skin while still being gentle.

Palettes -Cargo - Dare to Play Collection
rated 5 of 5
MaddieEvans 12/21/2011 12:05:00 PM

This palette is absolutely gorgeous and it's really easy to mix and match. It's great for dramatic, "going out" makeup, which is what it's supposed to be for. I hate it when palettes advertise themselves as dramatic or colourful and don't deliver, but this one makes it easy to add a lot of colour to your look. I bought it for $45 from ebeauty.ca, which is a great deal considering how many different colours you get!

Blush -Cargo - The big easy
rated 5 of 5
MaddieEvans 12/21/2011 11:08:00 AM

This blush is incredibly flattering. I tried it because of the reviews, since the colour in the tin didn't look like something I would wear, but now I'm hooked! I bought it from ebeauty.ca for $26, and it was so worth it because you get a lot of product.

Blush -Cargo - BeachBlush - Coral Beach
rated 4 of 5
MaddieEvans 12/20/2011 2:38:00 PM

This blush is really warm and flattering and it totally wakes up my skin. It's not too harsh either, I just swirl my powder brush in it a few times, shake it off, and generously brush over my cheeks and it's the perfect amount if colour. I bought it from ebeauty.ca for $32, which is a tad pricy but the tin contains a fairly large amount.
