This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is definitely mine. Whenever I think about my favorite polish, I think of this bottle. I bought my other polishes from this collection on clearance, but this one I paid regular price for because I just loved it. Green is my favorite color when it comes to nail polish and this ugly-pretty green is just perfect. The formula is amazing. It goes opaque in two coats for me, though I have tried three to see if it makes a difference and I can't say I saw one. It is very sparkly and shimmery! Can't get enough and I definitely will need a back up bottle!
I was going to skip this one from this collection because I have a lot of blues (I even have a dupe of this, though the formula is horrid) but I'm really glad I didn't. This polish is so smooth to apply. It's a little sheer, so it still takes me three coats to get total opacity but it's definitely worth every second. The duochrome in this doesn't seem as obvious as in other shades from this collection, but the rich, boldness of the blue and purple make it gorgeous. I couldn't stop looking at it!
This polish wore so well for me! I absolutely love the duochrome finish and the shade. The formula was good and went on smooth. When it dried, it settled on my nails so well, so nice and thin and light. I didn't even get tip wear for two days, and I even wore it for that long! (Frequent polisher here!) I love this collection!
I was kind of disappointed with this polish. I really like black polish with glitter in it, but this didn't have enough spark to it. I was hoping for something that would be an alternative to my bottle of Sephora by OPI 212, but Androgynie was more sheer, a bit less sparkly and didn't have the greatest formula.
Fowl Play is pretty much what made me like Orly polish. It's a beautiful dark purple base with glitter and flakes. It's sheer, so it takes 3-4 coats to go opaque, but you get an interesting layered effect. Orly polish loves my nails, so it wore for several days before I even got tip wear (Though the bigger surprise is that I wore it long enough to get tip wear, according to my friends!) The formula is smooth, just takes a little patience to build up. I'd recommend layering it over other polish too!
I have to say, I love this polish. I'm a bolder color kind of girl, so the shade of blue is up my alley. This was one of two Zoya polishes I bought to give them a try and I was so impressed by this bottle. The application was everything you wish for when you crack open a bottle of polish and it dried super fast. I top coated and wore it for a couple days without tip wear or chips, but I get antsy with the same color for too long, especially when I have a bit of free time, and took it off anyway. Still, a fabulous color that's convinced me to try a few more Zoya polishes!
I'm a sucker for bar glitter. I bought this with Noel as my first Zoya polishes and I'm kind of in love. This glitter is a bold blue with a ton of sparkle to it! It applies really beautifully and is pretty dense, but works fine for layering over a more solid color as well!
A beautiful darker rose shade with tiny holo glitter sparkling inside of it! I found my bottle by chance in a discount store. Its very cheerful and pretty, not too flashy and strikes me as sweet. It like having at least a little sparkle. The formula was really smooth too!
One of my favorite polishes, believe it or not! It's a dark brown, which I never thought I would consider pretty until I started wearing this! It looks fabulous on my nails and you can certainly tell that it isn't black. The finish is very shiny and the formula is very opaque and smooth.
I bought this color on sale, otherwise I probably would have passed it up. It's sheer, but I have built it up to be opaque on a swatch. It has a very pretty effect when layered, giving colors both a shimmer and a nice shine. It is a bit expensive if you can't score it like I did, so I wouldn't buy it again.
This is probably my most disappointing bottle of polish from OPI. It is a pretty shade of color, but it has too many problems to make it successful. First of all, the formula is thin, sheer and runny. I've tried building it up to be opaque, which took 3-4 coats, and it just falls flat. If anything, I'd layer with it. Second of all, as a DS polish, it's normally rather expensive for what it is. It doesn't have any holo in it, linear or scattered, just a little glitter and some shimmer. I have a couple polishes that are a lot cheaper and have an almost identical finish! Thank god I only paid $5 for this one, or I'd be kicking myself!
Even though this isn't a holo, it's a great shade from the DS collection. Its name is really appropriate because it really does seem to glow. When I was wearing it, I would catch sight of it in low light and felt like, "Wow, that actually still stands out and sparkles." It's that surprising quality that I really like about it. It applies really really well too. I painted it on my friend's nails and it was nearly opaque in two coats. When I wore it myself, I tried only using one and it worked great!
This polish is very radiant and almost glows. I love the shimmer and color. My bottle was a little thin, but not too difficult to work with. This type of burnt orange is really flattering!
I love holo glitter, so this polish gets high marks for that. The pink jelly has a nice tint to it, really pretty. I only layer with it and have never tried to go opaque on its own, but this use has been really gorgeous. It applies just fine and I love the way it sparkles!
I was kind of unimpressed by this shade. The glitter isn't exciting enough for me. The jelly is pretty and shiny and the application was good, but it didn't pop. I'd go with Teenage Dream over this one.
