Wow. Just WOW. This color is GORGEOUS! One coat so far, and it is so rich and thick (color-wise, not consistency) and so BLINGY! This is not one of those run-of-the-mill silver-pearly shades; it is like chrome metal with silver flakes in it - it reminds me of Christmas ornaments!
Can't wait to see what 2 coats looks like, and also what it will look like come summer-time with tan feet. So so pretty!

I hate to be the naysayer here, but...I didn't like this. It's beautiful in the container, but the shimmer stopped there. It just ended up looking dirty and smudgy to me once on; there is no creaminess to this at all.
Mine is now awaiting its return to Nordstrom. Bummer, 'cos I really wanted to like this.

Mascara -Sephora - Atomic Volume

I also received this as part of Sephora's VIB goodie bag...and I love it!
I am picky because 1) I have very oily lids and 2) I am almost 45, so I'm starting to get a little loose skin in the lid area; but this gives great volume AND length (I use Shiseido's primer)! I jog and at the end of the day, after running over 3 miles and being all sweaty, this barely started to smudge just a bit; so for me, this was pretty great.
Personally, I can't stop looking at my lashes when I use this, and I definitely plan on buying a full-sized tube when this sample runs out.

Eyes -MAC - Greasepaint Stick

Maybe I'm stupid...nah, I don't think that's it; but I just don't get these idiotic things!!! People rave about them, and the colors, when swatched in a single line on the back of my hand, admittedly are pretty; but they never apply the same to my eyelids. They are ugly, chalky, and I look like a kid playing in some drag queen's makeup when I put them on.
The next "step" is that you are supposed to then blend them out - really quickly, I might add - to make a base for your REAL eyeshadow! Sorry, but that's what my UDPP is for. "F" that. I don't have the time or patience.
These truly do suck ass. I'm sending 'em back, Mac; return my moolah!!!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Swiss Chocolate

I'm undecided about this shade -- color is gorgeous, so no argument there. My issue with it is it took me FOREVER to build the color!!!
I used a 217 and a 222 to apply, hoping the larger brushes would cover a lot of area at one time, but the color just wasn't laying down like I expected it to. I ordered this from Mac online and am actually considering returning it for that fact alone.

Sorry, thisa is nothing like MAC's C-Thru, which actually has some pigment. This is clear, at best. I'm not even keeping this; it'll be returning to Wal-Mart.

What a joke! There is almost NO color payoff with this freaking e/s! I kept packing it on and packing it on - with a 139, no less - and all it looked like was kind-of what your eyelids look like if you've rubbed them too roughly the night before as you were removing your makeup, you know how I mean? This one's a-goin' back!

I agree 100% with the reviewer below!! Such a cool, perfect baby pink color. I wear it with Dazzleglass in Bare Necessity over it, and it softerns and melds the color perfectly.

Powder -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Medium [DISCONTINUED]

Love this as my setting powder for right after I put on my CD liquid foundation. The finish is so pretty - not cakey at all; sheer but still "there." I tried it once as a mid-day touch-up and it looked more cakey then - perhaps the oils that had come out on my face during the day didn't mix as well.
At any rate, I love this and will continue to buy it.

Grrrrr...great color but what a nasty-ass mess! I purposely did NOT wear mascara on my lower lashes today just to see how far this would travel, and travel it did. I was a smudgy, blue-black mess within about 2 hours. I'll try Blacktrack Fluidline next time to see how it holds up, but I will never buy this again.
