I really wish Avon would lose the wand and get a blush applicator for this, but overall this is good lipgloss. I have owned quite a few of these since Avon reps have always been around. I usually buy them on sale or when they accompany a 'makeup set'. I have owned clear, Brown Sugar, Intense Plum, Island Glow.... I will try others. THEY ARE $$$$$$$$2.49 RIGHT NOW. Lowest Price.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I love EVOO. It is awesome. There's not much to say. The reviews have pretty much covered it all. Skin, makeup remover, mix with sugars to exfoliate, and although I haven't tried the OCM I have heard great things. This is not just for cooking - Try it for yourself.
I would give this a 4.5. I love my MAC lash curler. I own a Shu as well - but I still use my MAC everyday. I just haven't really felt the need to use the Shu since I think the MAC works great. It did come with a replacement pad - Last I checked MAC did not sell them though :weird: Anyway.. You can grab a pack from Sally's and keep on moving. I recommend this if you don't want to splurge on the Shu.
Foundations -MAC - Studio Stick SPF 15 ] [DISCONTINUED]
MadamWilliams 9/9/2010 4:43:00 PM
This was my first MAC purchase and quite possibly my first foundation purchase. I got it at a CCO a few years back. I LOVE this foundation. I was saddened to hear it was going to get discontinued (by a MAC employee). I will snatch up a few before that happens, but I'm sure CCO, and other places will still have them around. I think the coverage is great - It goes on so smooth and looks so natural. Great product to throw in your bag.
I think this product is a good full coverage foundation. I just can't use it. It leaves my skin with this weird hot feeling after it's been applied. I would love for MAC to come up with another similar formula - besides the runny liquids - and I hope it won't irritate my skin. It had so much potential for me - I still love my MAC foundation STICK. As for packaging. I'm not a fan of MAC, NARS, and other lines that make their black packaging fuzzy. It gets messy and I hate it.
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Butter - Passionfruit
MadamWilliams 9/9/2010 4:33:00 PM
I purchased this because of the smell and I have a weakness for 'butter'. It feels great when you apply it, but it's not an amazing moisturizer. I wouldn't repurchase it at retail, but if it was available on sale I may try different scents, just because I do like the smell/ feel of it.
Deodorants -The Body Shop - DeoDry Dry-Effect Deodorant
MadamWilliams 9/9/2010 4:29:00 PM
I have been using this stuff for about 2 months. I own Fresh & Floral and Chilled & Breezy. I am probably not the best person to review this b/c I don't really get smelly underarms. Some days I don't wear deodorant and I don't even realize it. I will say that the deoDRY thing doesn't really describe this product. I don't think I've ever sweated more w/ any other deodorant. It's not anything major or awful, but I'm sure it wouldn't keep most people dry. But it will keep you fresh. I like the scent. Love the fact that it's not harmful. I think the bottle is cool. Reminds me of the newest 'tend skin' bottle. ==BTW: I have the roll on. Which is liquid. The solid stick probably does fight better against sweating.
I really like this brush! It's only a buck and it gets the job done
I own a few of these - due to the price. I think it's pretty versatile. It may not be the best blending brush, but you can use it for your shadows..... and for concealer.
I love this brush. I wish I would have purchased an extra one when I got it. I use this brush for liquid foundation (period). It smooths it out and does the job perfectly. I bought this after buying the Sonia Kashuk flat top. It had the same look, so I thought why not? It's cheap and I can wear it out:) I'm fine with the bristles, but the ferrule has gotten shakey like it's going to fall off. So don't expect high end quality there.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)
MadamWilliams 9/9/2010 3:54:00 PM
I love this stuff. I purchased the virgin kind from a vitamin shop. I am not using it as much now, because I've been using tamanu / cod liver oil, but I have a jar of it in the fridge and some in travel container from a recent trip. It is a great moisturizer and you can tell that it makes your skin softer. This isn't one of those "I think it works.. how did my skin feel before?' products. This is great on your whole body... I used to take a shot of it everyday as well. Internally or topically this stuff truly moisterizes. I use it for my hair as well, but I do not suggest using it as a serum to flat iron your hair. Apply heat first - then apply the coconut oil. It will get extremely hot! BTW: Do not keep this in warm environments. The melting temperature is very low. Go out and buy some today. It's a must have in your home;)
This made my skin peel when I tried it! Definitely not the product for me, but I know people who have used it and had great results.
This is one of those timeless products. Like Dove soap! I love this scent. I wish it were a candle. Cherry-Almond!!! Yum
Eye Makeup Remover -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
MadamWilliams 9/9/2010 3:12:00 PM
I loved using EVOO to clean my brushes, so it was quite natural that if it could pull the grime out of the bristles it would work on your face as well - since it is a natural product. I love it. It does the job. EVOO is not cheap, but I did rate it as 'dirt cheap' because it's already in the cabinet. I still use a makeup pad remover for the first swipe though. I just think it's less messy that way.
I really like this foundation. I like the creamy consistency and it does not irritate my skin. I can wear the 39(n) or the 42(p). So, I guess there goes the whole understand argument with foundation... because I am definitely -golden- but I like the 42(p) better than the 39(n). Although the 39 was my COLOR before the 42(p) was introduced. This is not a full coverage 8 hour foundation, but if you are not trying to cover a lot of problem areas you could take your fingers / apply/ and go! This is a great foundation.
