Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Grape
Macupaholic 2/5/2010 2:54:00 PM
One of my favorite pigment color, and in fact, one of my favorite purples. The deep purple doesn't have the smoky, red undertones (think Sketch) but it's a gorgeou PURPLE. Great as an all over the lid kinda look, as a smoky look, or just to add a pop of color underneath the lowerlash line!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Melon
Macupaholic 2/5/2010 2:50:00 PM
I really enjoy this color. It's perfect for any occasion, any season, and you can play it up, or leave it a neutral eye color! The color has incredible payoff and looks nice wet or dry.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Silver Metal
Macupaholic 2/5/2010 2:47:00 PM
This silver is smoking with a blue undertone and a silver element! For me, it only worked if I used it to line my lowerlash line. Otherwise, the color wasn't for me! Plus, you'll never use all of this pigment. My advice, get 4 friends to spit a jar and then it'll be worth buying!

Spiritualize is like no green I've ever seen before! It has yellow/gold undertones with a hite of blue and a bite of green! It has a little sparkle and it goes A LONG WAY! Pair it with a blue mascara and your eyes look amazing! Gorgeous one-of-a-kind color!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 226 Small Tapered Blending Brush - BBR Collection
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:21:00 PM
I bought this blush to blend my crease and it sucks! It's too big making it useless (try the 224 or 222). But once apon a time, I mistakenly grabbed this brush and used it for applying concealer under my eyes and that's the exact time Sally met Harry! It blends so well with either a creme or liquid formula. It doesn't waste product and it really covers my darker circles nicely! Yeah for me!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #231 Small Shader Brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:18:00 PM
I bought this brush for my eyes and I HATED it! It's too small and awkward. I mainly used it for the innereye and maybe if it were lucky, under my bottem lashes. However, being brave like I am, I tried it when applying studio fix concealer to a scar I have. I LOVE IT and that's that. The controll and precision is amazing. You can build up, or pat just a bit of the product on! You waste nothing. It's so simple it should be illegal!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 194 concealer brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:15:00 PM
I have a love affair with my made to be concealer brushes (231 and 226(?)—the bigger size of 224) so this brush doesn't thrill me in the least. I have more countrol covering up acne/scars with my 231 and gain a smooth flawless application when doing my undereyes with the 226. I'm going to recommend those brushes for you. YOU'RE WELCOME!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #190 Foundation Brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:12:00 PM
This brush is great for foundation. It gives an even look and blends quite nicely into my skin. The size it nice too making it easier not to spend hours applying your face. I would not buy this brush again simply because I have a feeling there might be better out there. A cheaper dupe of this brush is Eco's Bamboo Foundation Brush. I think I paid $6 Canadian!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 188 Small Duo Fibre Face brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:06:00 PM
I much prefer this one to the 188. I think it's size it perfect, and the feel and look it delivers is a great reason to buy it! It's fantastic for liquid foundations. The way it blend the color into your skin in is incredible! I use it for my liquids and my cremes and the finished product is stunning! However, the bristles get plucked out when you start using creme products? Je ne sais pas? And yes, I do know how to wash and care for my brush (at that price, you HAVE TO) It's really unfortunate because the brush is great except for that reason! I do still recommend buying it.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:02:00 PM
Bought it because everyone raves about it so I do what most women (and some men) do and I got it! I like it, I'm just not in love with it. Does it give you a flawless face after using it? YES. Do you need to know how to properly use it? YES. Do I? YES. I find it to big and a lot of the pruduct gets caught up in all the bristles.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 7:00:00 PM
I bought this brush because it is a beautiful shape, it's soft, and it was recommended for contouring. It works great as a contour brush. The angles give you a perfect fit for your cheeks and under your chin. However, my brush shed like CRAZY. And not Brittney Spears CRAZY. And I know to properly wash it and take care of it (yada yada) but it still does it. I even bought the mesh brush things that you put over your brush to retain the shape after it's been washed and it still does it. Therefore, I don't care for it at all! Plus I love my 109!!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #129 Powder/Blush Brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 6:55:00 PM
This is a good brush. Why a low rating? Because I don't use it as much as it deserves to be used. I much prefer to use my 109 over this brush. I don't believe just because my 109 isn't a blush/powder brush that it can't be used for it! The 129 does have great qualities. It's soft, big, fluffy, and easy to use for a flawless, even finish.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 109 Small Contour Brush
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 6:52:00 PM
I heart this brush! You can do so much with it (think contour, blend, enhance, buff, etc)! I first bought it as a contouring brush and it works great, ecspecially when buffing into my temples and under my chin. But then I tried it with my MAC creme blush and have not looked back. I had bought a realy bright red creme blush at MAC and couldn't figure out how to use it without looking like a clown. I married it with the 109 brush and it was a match made in heaven! Definately a must have!

Bronzers -NARS - Laguna
Macupaholic 2/4/2010 6:48:00 PM
Laguna bronzer has been splashed all over YOUTUBE as being one of the best bronzers out there. Being a person who usually doesn't wear a bronzer on a normal basis, I hesitated buying it. But after seeing a video by Lollipop26, I jumped on it! The color is a nice brown with shimmer. I first used it as a contour color but it's not for that! The shimmer destroys your attempt at contouring. I then went on holidays and got a nice tan so I used Laguna all over my face but it's way to shimmery. I now use it for a bit of color but I waste half the product when I dip my brush on my hand to down the color !
