BB Cream -Marcelle - BB Cream Beauty Balm
MW1Horse 4/9/2012 5:44:00 PM
Super bummed about this product, I was so excited to try my first BB cream. Product is a bit dark and waaay to yellow for my fair skin tone. It made me look jaundiced. The pump is unforgivably bad and spurted cream everywhere. Why no SPF? Not enough coverage to even my skin tone, but not enough moisture to cope with my dry skin. What's the point, really?

Not for oily skin or people with pores! Despite the claims, it really makes your pores obvious if they're large, and if gets pretty cakey anywhere your skin isn't porcelain doll smooth.

Concealers -Almay - Nearly Naked Cover Up Stick

Yuck. Thick, oily and waxy. Didn't blend well, but didn't cover much either. Might be OK if you have really nice skin with a yellowish tint and with no visible pores.

Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Foot Cream
MW1Horse 4/5/2009 12:56:00 AM
Excellent! Make sure you use a hardcore foot file first if your feet are really crusty and gross. No lotion alone can cure that. When summer's coming up I usually apply this cream liberally and sleep with plastic wrap taped around my feet to hold it all in. A quick rinse and file in the a.m., and my feet are as clean and soft as a baby's! Applying a little once in a while makes maintaining nice feet for summer easy. A little of this lotion goes a very long way.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - Renewing Cleanser

Don't like the price, but I really love this cleanser. I don't find it drying at all, and it leaves my face fealing super clean. I struggled with acne for years and this cleanser is a keeper.

Moisturizers -Dove - Sensitive Essentials Day Lotion
MW1Horse 4/5/2009 12:05:00 AM
I think this product has been rebranded Dove Sensitive Skin Day Lotion, though I'm not entirely sure. Love this lotion! I really like that there's no fragrance. It feels light and clean, and a little goes a long way. My HG! Perfect for my oily skin that still gets a little dry sometimes. Also is fantastic to put on windburn after a long day outdoors. Wears well under makeup, or sometimes I blend it with foundation for light, even coverage.

Mascara -Maybelline - Unstoppable Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

Goes on nicely, no problems with clumping or anything. Doesn't add a ton of volume. Added a bit of length. I'd recommend it if you're looking for very subtle daytime wear. Would be a good choice for people with light colour lashes who are just looking to make them darker without looking made up. Wouldn't buy again, since I'd prefer to get more volume.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Blistex Spa Effects
MW1Horse 4/4/2009 11:34:00 PM
They go on really silky, but after that they're pretty much useless. The one with the yellow lid smells ok, but the other two smell revolting. They all taste really sunblock-y.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Lip Infusion - Cherry Splash

This stuff is weird. It only lasts for a couple of minutes and doesn't do that much moisturizing even though it's super oily feeling. It isn't good for much. The roller ball always feels really cold, too.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Complete Moisture Lip Balm

You have to try this just to experience how cool it feels going on! It feels so, well, moist. Like you wouldn't believe. I guess some people here don't like it, but I keep using it because it feels so crazy-awesome. I also love the lemony taste. It's a good light-weight moisturizer, but it doesn't last very long. Also, it stings a lot if your lips are already badly chapped so it's better to use as a preventative rather than a treatment for already-sore lips.

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Sweet Jelly Lipgloss in Tutti Frutti
MW1Horse 4/4/2009 10:55:00 PM
This stays on for about 3 minutes. I also find it tastes strange; sorta sweet but not really like anything. It's like I rubbed aspartame all over my lips. If you're looking for something cheap without much colour and you don't mind reapplying frequently it isn't bad.

You know when you were little and your Barbies got old? Remember how their hair got kinda frizzy and dull overall, yet each hair still looked plasticy and shiny? That's exactly what this product did to my hair.

Use sparingly, or people will think you've been hanging out in the men's room at a seedy bar. This stuff makes you reek like cheap cologne.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - salon nail laquer
MW1Horse 4/4/2009 10:29:00 PM
I'm not really a big fan of Sally Hansen, but bought this because I liked one of the colours I found. It's surprisingly good! It goes on really, really nicely and dries pretty quickly too. None of that weird, semi-dry, tacky state that goes on for hours and always messes up my nails. This product is better than some of the other (actual) salon brands I have used. I really like the rubber handle too. It didn't have any problems with it lasting.

Hair Styling Tools -Conair - 1875 Ion Shine Hairdryer
MW1Horse 4/4/2009 10:18:00 PM
My mom owns this. What a piece of junk. I find it difficult to handle. Things get pretty hot and heavy with this dryer, but not in a good way! The concentrator doesn't help much for straightening my hair. The words on the settings are rubbing off after a month of use, so you can't even tell what setting you're putting it on. And you know the universal-fit Conair diffuser that's supposed to fit on any dryer, especially the Conair ones? You know the one. They sell it on exactly the same shelf as this dryer. Yeah, it doesn't fit. GREAT JOB, CONAIR.
