Oh how I wanted this product to work! I got Buff and I am around NC15. The color match was excellent. I found the coverage to be light and not too buildable but it had a nice matte finish. Sadly after 5 hours I had to wash it off because my face was burning and it was a combination of greasy and dehydrated. I am in the minority but I like the container but the formula is not for me. I might add that I have ridiculously sensitive skin and it doesn't like most foundations. This on is no exception.
Lipstick -Clinique - Butter Shine Lipstick - Apple Brandy

I do believe Clinque's Butter Shine in Apple Brandy is my HG lipstick. It's a beautiful sheer, warm red. It goes on beautifully and feels hydrating to my lips. I have gone through a tube and liked it so much that I have about 6 backups! It's the perfect red for fair skin blonde's like me. My only complaint is that I have to reapply often. But it's very forgiving and I don't need a mirror for quick touch ups. For reference I am around NC 15 with blonde hair and green eyes.
Foundations -Gerda Spillman - Bio-Fond Cream-Make Up

This is a great product. I have been on a 2 1/2 year search to find a foundation that my skin can tolerate. I have sampled at least 45 liquid foundations and 20 mineral foundations and literally could not find a single product that my skin would tolerate. Either I could not find a color match, the product irritated my skin or it caused breakouts. The Bio Fond is a winner. I have been using Stila Perfecting Concealer instead of foundation but still needed a little more coverage in my t-zone where I have redness. I use a little bit of the Bio Fond and cover with loose powder and I have flawless skin. I have been using it for 5 days with no redness, burning or breakouts. I got samples from Gerda Spillman and the color Praline works well. It is yellow toned and a little too dark for my NC 15-20 skin but I can smooth it out and it is blending well. Many people have mentioned the fragrance and I am very sensitive to scents in products but this does not both me. This product is a miracle for my hyper-sensitive skin. Update. I still love this product but can use it only on occasion. After using it several days in a row my skin got a little irritated. This has happened before from products with mineral oil. My face gets hot and slighly red. I will use it for special occasions only because the coverage is AMAZING.
Using oatmeal as a cleanser may be the best beauty secret, ever. I have the most hyper-sensitive skin. My derm has said that I am in the 1% of truly sensitive skin. This is not a good thing. I have tried everything to cleanse my skin and usually end up with a red, irritated face. This has changed now since I started using oatmeal as a cleanser. I bought organic oats ($1.39 a pound) and ground them in my coffee grinder. I make a paste of ground oats and water and place it over my face and gently rub. I then use a washcloth to remove the excess. My face is clean and calm. If I have makeup on I use a little oil to remove it first. Then wash with the oats. Here's my skin routine: Wash with oatmeal. Then I use Cucumber Seed Oil for moisture and Rose Hip Oil around my eyes. I am no longer at the mercy of cosmetic companies discontinuing products and my skin has never looked better! Update. This is truly HG. I have been using oats to wash to wash my face for several months now. It is amazing. My skin is much calmer. Kind of a miracle for $1.39 a pound!
I so wanted to like this product. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. The first thing I noticed is that it's very watery even after shaken. And the opening is huge and I get way too much product out. I used it as a concealer on my face and I looked dead. That was not really the look I was going for! Sadly I will have to return this.

How did we ever live without this product? I use it many times a day. I have one in my purse and one in my car. And if I am around someone who is sick I make sure to clean my hands. I rarely get sick so it must be working. My only complaint is that it really does dry my hands.
This is a good basic scrub from Ella Bache. It is very gentle and does a good job exfolliating. It is very expensive but doesn't irritate my skin. There is nothing extraordinary about this product but it does what it's supposed to do.

I love my Braun!! I have had it for 3 years and it's still working great. I use it for stray body hairs and facial hairs. It does not hurt that much and keeps the area clean for up to a month. I have a couple of hairs on my lower stomach and it removes them in a second. I can't believe how much I have spent on waxing over the years. This is so much better!
I can use mineral oil with no problem but Vaseline just doesn't work for me. It causes my skin to burn and to turn red. Granted I have very moody/sensitive skin and I just don't understand why my skin loves pure mineral oil but hates Petroleum jelly? It's been around forever and is a good basic sealant.
This product really does not work on sensitive skin. I wanted it to work and only used it twice a week with the gentle brush but still it caused a lot of irritation on my skin. I had to return it. I would suggest this for resisitant skin but if you have sensitive skin I would avoid it like crazy!

This is a great product. I have it all over my house. I use it on my heels when they are dry and use it every night before I go to sleep on my lips. It does not work on my face and I think the Ceresin in it causes irritation for my sensitive face. But for my lips and dry spots, it's amazing!

This is a great find. Thank you Skincare board! I have the most sensitive skin but it tends to get a little thick. I was very hesitant to try this because of my extreme sensitivity but I am glad that I did. It comes in a basic plastic bottles with a spout. There is a toner and then the peel. The instructions say to use the toner and let it dry. And then to use the peel. It says to use up to 7 minutes but I have never gone longer than 3 1/2 minutes. My skin doesn't really peel a lot but it does get slightly red and looks very glowy. It says to use it up to twice a week but my skin can only tolerate every other. It's a great product and really inexpensive!

I tried this as a toner and it did nothing but turn my skin red. I don't understand why people use this in skin care products?? It was just irritating in my skin. I do have very sensitive skin and on me this did not work.
Deodorants -Earth Science - Liken Plant Natural Deodorant

This review is for the unscented version. I learned about this product on the green board. I have used the crystal rock as a deodorant for a very long time. But it didn't control odor enough. I had the idea of using the crystal rock and then layering this deodorant over it. And it works perfectly. I have tried it on it's own and it is not that effective. But it works great coupled with the crystal rock.
This is a beautiful peachy/pink color in the container. On me, I looked like a clown with a fever. It just has too much sparkle. I took it back. What I realized is that I look best in peachy shades and my HG is LORAC's baked in Plush. I am around NC 15. I know people love Orgasm blush. It just didn't work for me.
