I would give up painting my nails if I hadn't discovered this product! It's just fantastic. In Ireland mani/pedis are VERY expensive, not like the US where there are so many salons offering a rainbow of colours & services for fingers & toes....over here the mani/pedi is definitely a special occasion job. At the moment I am loving darker colours, only problem is that any chip on a darker nail is immediately noticeable. Without Seche Vite two days maximum before that evil little chip appears & it's never the same when 'topping up' the colour. I don't even have to use a base coat with Seche Vite, I pop a thick coat on top of ANY varnish & it will not budge for a week! retains shine & even perfects the original colour job. as well as this it dries in no time at all! now I never mind painting my nails, because a) I know that I don't have to sit there for half an hour perfectly still in case of nail collision b) once the paint job is done and SV applied I can forget about for at least 5 days c) my nails are perfectly shiney! This is expensive & I have to order from HQ Hair, but this little bottle is worth every penney!

I love my High Beam! I suffer with perioral dermatitis on occasion & so will often need quite a bit of coverage from my foundation, followed by a good powder to even out and keep my complexion looking clear. Because I can't achieve a natural dewy look from my skin on it's own or with a sheer foundation I use MB. It's is a beautiful creamy gold colour which works really well with my green eyes. I use this in the corner of my eyes, under the eyebrow, down the nose & on the cheekbones. I find with this little bottle I can get the illusion of a clear dewy complexion & I find this works really well in photos when the light catches the Moon Beam. I think this product is easy to use & very effective. Gets a bit gloopy after long use, but is still usuable.

Liquid -MAC - Face and Body Foundation

I agree with previous post that this could be viewed as more of a tinted moisturiser. It's very light weight & sheer, you get so so much product for your buck in a great squeezy bottle. I wanted to fall in love with this as it's a big fave of the Minogue sisters (maybe an oz/uk thing!) and i always adore how fresh, dewy and natural they look. Alas this just doesn't work for me, however i do think that is down to my perioral dermatitis prone skin as opposed to any failing on the product. I find it sticky & uncomfortable & doesn't provide enough coverage (again, doesn't promise to, it's a sheer face & body make-up) If my skin clears up i would definitely try this again, may even try it again in the summer when the need for coverage is less & my face as a sunkissed glow. I also think that like Laura Mercier Secret C, once you learn to use this correctly & it suits your skin type it's a HG & people never look back......haven't totally given up on this yet!

Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow - Fawn

Bobbi Brown Fawn is my all time fave eye-shadow. I have green eyes & the purple undertones work really well with my eyes. I usually use a Mac paint as a base & add fawn to my lids & crease, bringing a little of my pink blush up into the crease as well. This has never failed me, it always looks fantastic & i can build this product to a really nice smokey eye. It lasts forever.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil

I am a big fan of Urban Decay! I think their palettes are great value & I love love their 24/7 eyeliners. I was first introduced to these by a small travel size 'bourbon' that was in one of my Christmas gift sets. These eyeliners are very easy to apply, they're soft but not too soft. If you make a mistake & go slightly awry, you can smuge the line out quiet easily & add more if necessary. I also find that these last & last. I've given these as gifts to friends who are terrified of eyeliner & they love them. Some of these colours do have a glitter element to them & i really like these & do not find them in anyway uncomfortable etc (however I do not wear contacts or have sensitive eyes). I don't think the glitter particularly in the bourbon is at all garish & often wear this during the day without feeling heavily made up. I also love Rockstar which i think highlights the green tones of my eye really effectively. I think that to buy any of these individually is a little costly however the Super Stash Eyepencil set is incredible value with great diversity in colour. Usually these sets contain some odd colours however this one contains four of UD's best sellers.

Shampoo -Batiste - Original Dry Shampoo

Ok so dry shampoo can be a bit gross!!!! But i have long blonde hair, not neccesarily what god gave me, more like what my Colourist gives me every four to six weeks. This product works for me on two levels. Firstly I try everything to avoid doing any further damage to my hair than the highlghts tend to do. This includes less styling/washing etc. This dry shampoo enables me to wash my hair every second day, without feeling completely dreadful! it smells lovely & i can put it in on the morning of day two without my hair getting oiler throughout the day, it really does have lasting power. Secondly the original Batiste that i use actually lightens up any roots, so that i can usually get an additional week or two before needing to highlight, at this point i'll add this product even onto freshly washed hair. (Obviously this isn't a great option for Brunettes, but i do believe that they have brought out a line for darker do's) This line do small travel sizes as well that you can pop into your handbag. The only issue i have with the packaging is that occasionally the spray can become a little clogged and stop working, at this point i simply remove, run under hot water, dry and replace & it's back to normal! I do repurchase often & this product is definitely improving the condition of my hair
