Treatments -Neutrogena - rapid wrinkle repair

I have very picky skin. I have paid lots of money , and it's broken out with all. So I didn't dare try any thing with retional, until I tried this. I'm 67 ,and I needed a different moisterizer, one that really made a difference. My skin had deceided to become dry, more wrinkeled, and full of bumps. So I thought I would try this retinol product. I really thought I would have a serious problem with it. But low and betold, it hasn't broken my face out at all. In fact, it really has helped with small wrinkles, and has cleared my skin a small amount. I think it's even helped to even out my complexion. I have been using it with EL idealist, and during the warmer weather I noticed I'm a little oily. So I'm going to try it without the Idealist, and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise , I am going to keep on using it at least at night. It's great! That's the only problem I see however, I don't think it's SPF is high enough. Doesn't seem to be stopping any sun damage for me.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - A'kin - Rosehip Oil

I have very tempermental skin, redness and breakouts. I have tried 100's of moisturizers and cleansers. If I read an articule about something new I would try it. The only moisturizer I could tolerate was collegen capsules, but I still had some breakouts. THEN, I read a review for rosehip oil, got it my local Marshall's for a reasonable price and gave it a try. At first I really didn't notice much of a change, but then I noticed my face seemed smoother and clearer without makeup. I use 4 drops on dampend hands, with my face being moistened. Rub it in and then put on my sunscreen. I have noticed my pores don't seem so large , and most of the redness on my face is gone. It also helped with the small wrinkels on my face, I have been told I don't look my age (66), so I am sticking with this for now. But remember to keep this in the frig as it will go rancid easily. I have combo skin, so you might not need this much.

Thanks to all the good reviews on MUA, I deceided to try this product. I have been using Lancomes Effacernes, but it was pricey and didn't really last. As I have super sensitive dry skin, I have bought 100's of different concealers , only to break out within 2-3 days. Allright maybe not 100's, but alot. Anyway the lancome didn't make me break out, but I thought for $6 what could I lose. Hurray, this stuff really covers well and stays on. No more retouch, except it will sometimes settle in little lines. But all you have to do ,is pat with your finger, and done. I really moisturize under my eyes first thu. and I only use in the corners sometimes, but I am very happy so far.I started out with the light, but it is really light. So I bought the medium, which workd better for me. I wear elizabeth arden cameo in the winter , buff in the summer, and I am 66.

This product saved my face. I had tried everything to cleanse my very sensetive skin, nothing worked. And I tried from the most expensive to all natural treatments. My face had even began to crack at my chin. Within about 2 weeks all my itchness and dried skin disappeared. Granted, It is a little greasey but, I always wash it off with a warm washcloth repeatedly until it's pretty much gone. And I also use the credit card trick to exfoliate every week ( put on a little extra cream , rub it in and wait about 5 minutes. Then GENTLY using the card scrape the cream off. Sounds drastic but it really works.Just remember GENTLY, or it will scrape your ski).. If my skin gets wind burned, I also put it on as a moistureizer at night. I use one of the little youghrt spoons to get it out of the jar. Well god luck, and I have to say people often say I don't look my age. Which is always nice to hear, whearther it's the truth or not.

Found out about this on the reviews board, and decied to try it. My skin is super sensitive, and doesn't take much to make raw and itchy. Tried this for the first time and held my breath. Next morning, no itches or flakes. I now use everytime I clean off my makeup, and sometimes after I rinse off my face in the morning. It is remarkable. It really does soften. I am going to try the swanson site to order the next time, because I do seem to use a lot of it. It doesn't make my face feel dry at all.

Bronzers -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Finishing Powder- 030 Sunkiss [DISCONTINUED]
MOUNTAINGIRL 9/4/2011 10:02:00 PM
I bought this in the "brighten" shade. I never really used powders before, because they seemed to make my wrinkles more noticeable. But this powder doesn't. It sets my makeup better. And It also seems to help when my face gets oily. Even thu I have dry areas too, they don't seem to cake. I also have very sensetive skin, and this powder does not make me itch. We now have a Bare Essentials outlet where I live, so I'm going to try their mineral products. Wish me luck!

Bought this to try for more coverage/longer lasting. First, it's hard to get out of that little jar, and it's super thick-like paste. The product the sales person used doesn't seem at all like I brought home. It does cover, but doesn't last any longer than any other concealer. Will not be buying this again.

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover

Great eye Makeup Remover. Tried Almay pads, but they burned my eyes. This doesn't seem to bother my eyes at all, and it removes my makeup fairly well. As long as it keeps working , I'll keep buying.

This is a great concealer. Covers very well and has great staying power, but I have to agree with others. It is drying, so I just add extra eye cream. Will definetlly try again.

Scrubs -Better Botanicals - Clarifying Facial Scrub
MOUNTAINGIRL 2/25/2011 1:33:00 PM
Just had to review this product. I picked it up at an outlet store, and so it was a lot cheaper. But if it continues to work as well as it has ,I'd pay full price. I have very sensetive skin, so I have tried about a million products. None of which worked after about a month, my chin would always turn red and itch. I have tried them all, dsb and over the counter. They all make me itch. Imagine my surpise when after only one use of this product, I stopped itching. I know it's early to judge, but so far GREAT. Will let you know if it stands up to the test of time.

Eyeliner -Korres - Soft Eyeliner Pencil

I bought 2 of the korress eyeliners on e-bay. Thankfully I didn't pay very much for them. The blue one made my eyes itch, and they both wore off almost immediatly. Love the Korress moisturizers, but won't buy the eyeliners again.

Skincare - Face -Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Antiwrinkle Night Cream (Age-Reversing Night Cream)
MOUNTAINGIRL 12/25/2010 4:22:00 PM
I found this night cream at Sephoras, when I asked about natural products. I LOVE IT! I t sinks into my skin so easily, and I am really happy with the way it makes my skin feel in the morning. I'm on my third jar, and can really see a difference in my skin, less wrinkels and my pores are less noticeable. I'm 65 and anything that makes a difference at my age is great. I bought mine at the Korress site, when they had a 25% off sale.

After reading the reviews, I deceided to try it. I got it for a really low price, thanks to an outlet store where I live. Thankfully! This concealer only stayed on for about 2 hours, and it really didin't give very good coverage. Plus at the end of the day, it made my face itch and break out. I have really sensitive skin.but, I would not reccomend it to anyone. It's certainly not worth the price.I currently use "bo-iing" by benefit. It's ok, but it also fades on my skin. Guess I'll just keep looking. UPDATE: found out it wasn't my concealer, but a bunch of other things that made my face so dry. I now use this all the time.Using a concealer brush seems to help too. It seems to last about 6 hours, not bad!

Tinted Moisturizer -Korres - Korres Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturizer
MOUNTAINGIRL 9/29/2010 6:18:00 PM
Tried this tinted moisturizer by Korres because I love their nightcreme. I have very sensitive skin that breaks out with almost everything, but the nightcreme was great.Every other makeup I tried just would fade away. I have tried 100's. both dsb and dept.store. But this gives the coverage I like and is not as heavy as the others. I like that is also 30 SPF, as I don't need any more sun damage. No breakouts yet and I really like the feel of it. It sinks into your skin very fast, and for the most part doen't get greasey. But if your skin is oily, it might not be the one for you.
