I used an at home waxing kit (Anastasia's from Sephora) and ripped off a layer of skin above my upper lip. I was horrified. It was painful, oozing, and extremely red. I would normally just spread a lot of neosporin/aquafor on it but I came across this at a local beauty shop hours after my incident. I was afraid it was going to sting but it was incredibly soothing! I put it on right after the shower and it didn't even sting in the slightest... It is too soon to tell about the healing qualities, so I will make sure to update soon re: same.

I love this sunscreen and I am sorry that it did not work for most of the reviewers. I LOVE that it dries matte, and I think it makes my skin look healthy while protecting it. Smell also doesn't bother me as it dissipates quickly.... Great product.

i love this polish and it is my first time using this sort of wide tapered brush that the previous reviewers described. the color is that very trendy mushroom. the price was high for a drugstore item, which is a shame.

This is unfortunate. In an effort to save money I bought this one instead of seche vite. Its horrible. Takes forever to dry, bubbles, and basically ruins my manicure. I am very skilled at doing my own manicures and am not happy with this product. Another bad thing about it is that even after waiting a minute after applying my last coat of color, the brush scratches off the polish. I hate to sound so nasty, but I regret using and purchasing this top coat.

Love it! I wanted to get on the green nail polish trend for fall, and this one is gorgeous! Just like the other reviewers said, there is no mistaking this dark green for black, which is great. I got perfect coverage with 2 coats, and I love the rubberized brush handle. Also, my color came with a charm around the bottle (a removable butterfly with colored crystals) I have no idea what to do with it, but it is cute.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia

I have very sensitive skin (i am using tazorac and mama lotion alternatively) and was very worried that the clarisonic would wreak havoc on my skin. it hasn't yet (thank goodness). but i have only been using it for a week. I have been using it with very delicate cleansers, and I am so happy with the results. My skin is so soft and it looks very fresh. It def helps products absorb better. The best surprise is that it does not leave my skin red and raw, like all exfoliators have. it also has not irritated my skin and broken me out. love it! ****UPDATE**** I am very upset because I am now going through a horrible break out. Unfortunately the Mia irritated my skin so much that I have red bumps (not really like pimples) all around my chin and mouth, needless to say it looks horrible......I think that the mia is a great product, just not for me. My skin is so sensitive and I guess the only way to manage it is to baby it. HOWEVER, I am going to continue to use the mia for 1 more week just to see it it gets better or worse, and ill update. Fingers Crossed! ***UPDATE 2*** I am very sad that this product did not work for me. My skin was looking great for a straight 3 weeks and I was using a simple routine that was obviously effective, and my skin was just happy. Well I decided to bust out the mia and I used it in the shower and my face looks awful. Tiny red bumps that are not zits, just an overall unhappy face...like an allergic reaction. Since I know the mia doesn't work for my face, I am going to start to use it on my feet. just kidding..maybe.

i was looking for a new perfume and one of my friends recommended this one. i was surprised that she recommended mont blanc, and had a hard time looking for it ( i got it from amazon). the fragrance is very pretty and I have gotten many complements...i also like that it is not very popular :)

Polishes -Chanel - Metallic Vamp

Horrible formula. I am used to using opi and essie which are a dream to apply compared to this. The brush is awful comparitevely, it lifted my base coat off even after adequate drying time which made for an ugly uneven finish on some nails. It is a shame bc it was expensive, and is a beautiful color in the bottle.

love this lip gloss. it is close to my natural lip color so it is great if i am looking for a neutral lip yet still with some color. the color is exactly a lilac mauve..... i normally wear and am absolutely OBSESSED with nars chelsea girls, and i honestly feel this is sort of in the same neutral category. very sexy also, in cover of W with daria kate and another blonde model (google it) it is said that the model is wearing this lip gloss, which is how initially i fell in love

i used this conditioner with david babaii's moisturizing shampoo. i really love the smell, and it delivered great results for a drugstore conditioner (which i haven't used in a while). since it was pretty cheap I wasn't too concerned with using too much so i put a huge dollop in my hand and it detangled pretty well...the smell also lingered in my hair for a while. overall i am happy with this product and find it to be a great drugstore find.

I bought this in natural after trying it at the counter and walking around the mall for a while. at first i thought it was just shimmery and sheer not worth purchasing. then i went outside and i was glowing....i really love this product. like the other reviewer mentioned it is so shimmery that i can see it borderlining on a greasy effect but i still think it is really pretty. the sales associate didn't tell me that i should mix it with my foundation like her website suggests and i haven't tried it.. (when i do that i just mix my shimmer stuff from benefit with my foundation). i cant wait to use this product in the winter when i need the hydration and it is not so hot outside so that my face is greasy from the weather + shiny from the product.

excellent for melasma. i had horrible melasma from birth control mostly above my lips and splotched on other areas. works quickly. since it is cosmetic it was quite expensive, also the packaging could be improved because the product comes out when you open the cap and then when you close it it gets stuck at the top and leaves a nasty brown mark...but it doesn't bother me that much because the product is heaven scent for my melasma which was truly bothering me and looked unsightly. it is important to put on sunscreen especially on the areas you use the cream, because it wont work if the spots that are trying to clear are given direct sunlight without protection

This product is excellent. I had gone through a battle with my skin for six months. I had originally visited the dermatologist to look at some moles when she decided to put me on retin a micro (i had a rare breakout that day but decided why not) i went through an absolutely horribly purging phase with the retin a, so much so that it effected my social life..i also still have scars from the areas that purged the most (sides of my chin and cheeks) which are horrible. then i visited my dermatologist again after the horrible purging stage had subsided but she could tell it wasnt working as well as she had hoped. then came the tazorac creme, which has been a miracle. i did not go through another purging phase because my skin was already used to the tretinoin from the retin a. instead this product has kept my clear and is gradually fading the marks left from my awful retin a stage. this product is a miracle, and i highly suggest it for anyone with bad skin. also, i make sure to use a moisturizer on my face before i apply the creme at night. the one that has worked best for me is la roche posay toleriane skin soothing moisturizer. in the mornings i use duac (another prescription acne product) Tazorac is excellent, and everyday my skin seems to look better.

Lipstick -Lancome - Edgy

This is a metallic berry shade that was apparently warn by Daria Werbowy on the cover of W Magazine with Kate Moss and that other model. Each of them had the prettiest lipstick shades on, and Lancome's Edgy apparently was the shade she was wearing... I usually believe that magazines are lying when they say that their cover models were wearing say, all cover girl or what not.. but this shade is exactly like the one she is wearing! yay! it looks pretty on me, and i think it would be great for fall. it also has great staying power....and when it finally fades it leaves a stain on my lips that looks very nice as well. over all i am quite happy, except i am no daria...:(
