I have dry, damaged hair from chemically straightening it, and I usually blow dry my hair most everyday. I love this leave-in treatment b/c it makes my hair super soft and shiny without weighing it down at all. I have fine hair, but TONS of it..so it gets weighed down easily. I can actually use this all over my hair..not just on the ends, and I never have to worry about it weighing my hair down or making it greasy. I have some breakage at my hairline..so this stuff is awesome to use on that area before I blowdry. I can't recommend this product enough! Will definately repurchase!!

Lipstick -MAC - Pro Longwear in Go Vin Go

This looks like a plummy nude color in the tube, but on my lightly pigmented lips it shows up a pretty your lips but better color. It is a color that I can wear to work or out at night, it's very versatile. It doesn't feel overly dry or tacky on my lips like so many of those long-wearing lipsticks do. I love the sparkly gloss that goes on as a topcoat..it really makes the color of the lipstick stand out more. I like how it doesn't really stay on my lips ALL day, but it kind of fades gradually..leaving me still with some muted color, no peeling or flaking off. I wore it out last night, and I did have to reapply after drinking *too* many beers, but overall I think it is a good product. I will definately try some of the other colors now.

Moisturizers -St. Ives - Oil-Free Moisturizer [DISCONTINUED]

I have combo/oily acne prone skin, and I used to never use moisturizer at night. However, I'm using retin-a now, and my skin gets really flaky and tight if I don't put some kind of moisturizer on it at night before I go to bed. This moisturizer is perfect for my acne-prone skin. It does leave my skin kind of dewy, but not oily. My face looks much better in the morning after using this...less flaky and more hydrated and healthy. I prefer to use something with an SPF during the day, but I've used this during the day a few times under my makeup. Overall, this is super cheap, and it is a great moisturizer for combo/oily acne prone skin.

Mascara -Stila - Major Lash Mascara

I got a small sample size of this with my order from gloss.com, and I've used it the past couple of days. It's a pretty decent mascara, but it's definately nothing to write home about. It didn't clump, flake, or smear on me, but it also didn't really lengthen my lashes much. I would say this is a decent daytime/natural mascara for me, but I have others that I like better. Overall, not a bad product..it might work better for someone with naturally long, thick lashes that is just looking to enhance.

Shampoo -Kerastase - Oleo Relax shampoo

OMG..definately holy grail material here. I have thick, wavy/curly hair that is chemically straightened, and I am always looking for hair products to help improve the health of my dry,damaged hair. This shampoo is amazing!! I usually blow dry my hair straight almost everyday, and this definately left my hair smoother and easier to straighten with less frizz. I used this with my Aquage healing conditioner, and it left my hair super silky and less frizzy. I am definately going to try more products from this line now. It is pricey, but for me definately worth all the hype:)

Luv this stuff!!:) It smells just like the Benefit version..I am definately going to order the perfume version of this next. I used this yesterday after my shower, and it left my skin super soft and smelling wonderful! I put it on in my bathroom, and the scent lingered in the bathroom/bedroom for a few hours afterward....smelled so good! To my nose it is a fresh peachy floral scent..very girly:)

This smells just like the real thing except is lasts longer! I love this scent b/c it smells so clean and fresh. Definately check this one out if you like the Philosophy version!

Mascara -Estee Lauder - Lash XL

I am still on the hunt for my holy grail mascara, and this one comes pretty close. My eyes are my best feature, and my lashes are naturally very light..so I am always looking for a mascara that will emphasize and lengthen my lashes. This does make my lashes look super long, and it doesn't clump up..even when I apply several coats of it. It doesn't give a super dramatic effect like some lengthening mascaras do, but I still like it. I work long 12 hr shifts, and I think it's only smudged one time on me, and that was when I was rubbing my eyes a lot. I will continue to try others, though, just b/c I am obsessed:) This one is kinda pricey, but I think it's worth it.

I got this in the seven days of the week lotion sampler set. This scent is absolutely to die for!! This is my first order from suds and light, and I am very impressed! It is the perfect combination of coconut and pear..smells beachy/tropical, but not like that fake suntan lotion smell. The pear notes in it make it smell fresh and clean, too. I took this to work last night, and when I put it on...I had everybody around me asking me what is was b/c it smelled so good! The lotion itself leaves my skin super soft without feeling oily or greasy. I can't wait to try the other scents that I ordered:) Great product!:)

Wow! This was super cheap, and it left my dry, damaged hair feeling like silk. I am usually a haircare snob, but this is a great drugstore find. Not sure if it would build up from frequent use, but I will definately keep this one in my regular rotation. It smells absolutely heavenly, too!

I love this hairspray!! I usually blow dry my hair straight,and then I flip the ends out with a curling iron or flat iron. This hairspray holds my style without making my hair feel stiff or sticky. It's not heavy at all, but it still holds your style and allows your hair to "move". Great drugstore find!

Lipstick -MAC - Pink Packed

This color is super flattering on my MAC NC25/30 skintone. I usually gravitate towards rosey neutrals or plums, but I'm starting to realize I can wear pink colors, too. This shows up a creamy pink coral color on my lips, and I like to layer some clear MAC lipglass over it for a super glossy effect. This color really brightens up my face, and I think it would look great with a tan..even though, I don't have one right now. It is more of a summer color, but I'm so glad that I tried it out.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Stay Natural Makeup

I've always pretty much been anti-liquid foundation, but this one does work for my oily/acne-prone skin. I usually wear powder foundation b/c liquids feel too heavy/mask-like or they turn my face into an oil slick after a couple of hours of wearing. I use this foundation pretty much as a concealer, but it does go on incredibly smooth and it blends in with my skin like I'm not wearing anything at all! I never feel like I'm wearing a lot of makeup on my face when I wear this, and it doesn't make my skin overly oily:) I use this under my powder foundation when I want more coverage or just by itself as a concealer on my more natural days. I work 12hr shifts, and it stays put most of the day with a few touch-ups of powder on top of it. I have natural beige, and it suits my NC30 skintone well. I could probably wear the next lightest shade, too, in the wintertime. I love the pump on the bottle,too..makes application less messy and more sanitary.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara

I had such "high" hopes for this mascara, and I got let down:( Don't get me wrong..it isn't the worst that I've used, but it also isn't the best. It gets super clumpy if I don't blot the wand before every use which is really just a pain in the butt. Also, it does define my lashes, but it really doesn't lengthen much. Overall, it doesn't smear and stays on all day without flaking, but declumping the wand constantly just doesn't work for me. I'm glad I got the GWP size on ebay to try first. I like a mascara that lengthens my lashes more, too. I will use my trial size up b/c it is decent, but I won't repurchase this one.

Shampoo -Kenra - Kenra Clarifying Shampoo

This is the best clarifying shampoo I have tried yet for my dry, damaged hair. I used a lot of styling products..so I need something to use 1X week to get all the gunk out of my hair without overdrying it. This shampoo is perfect for my hair...it always leaves my hair super clean but not dried out or straw-like. I used to use cheaper clarifying shampoos from Suave for VO5, but this one is definately worth the extra money for me. The scent is a nice, fresh citrus scent, too.
