Unfortunately this concealer gathered in my fine lines and just didn't have the lasting power of other concealers. I'm going to return this one!
Foundations -L'Oreal - Quickstick Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

I wear this in L'oreals lightest shade. This is great for large pores, hides them nicely. This foundation has no scent. Lasts nicely throughout the day. Great for oily/combo skin. Blends easily. I prep my face with a little Jojoba oil. I then swipe the foundation stick across my face a couple of times and blend with my Essence of Beauty, foundation brush (yellow bristles). Gives a natural matte finish. I too was worried that the lightest shade looked pink but not so at all. I need to update my other reviews but I think this is HG for me!
Alright Ladies we have a Winner! I have tried them all…Uhh Hem, all the Drugstore Foundations that is and this one outshines them all! It doesn’t matter that this doesn’t have SPF because it goes on nicely over a fairly thick moisturizer and it’s well worth the added step. This doesn’t say it’s one of the long lasting makeup’s but it seems to last without the drawbacks of the Long Lasting formulas. I.e. I can blend this nicely on my face with out it drying too quickly or caking. It doesn’t cake at all on me. Doesn't settle into pores. I have an airbrush and this looks airbrushed. I use skindinavia eye/face primer (this made a big difference for me.. primer with dimethicone) over Cetaphil Lotion then apply with my Essence of Beauty foundation brush (with yellowish bristles purchased at CVS) and let set for a couple of minutes. I then dust with MUFE HD Loose Silica Powder. I’m really paranoid about people seeing my makeup. I won’t wear it if you can look close up in a mirror and see it. This foundation is buildable so you can wear it on days you'd like light coverage or medium/full. I'm trying to find the perfect primer for this foundation so I will update!! I finally can stop wasting all my money on every other foundation! Love it! **Update**Hmph! I'm having troubles with this lasting. I think I've moved on to L'oreals Quick Stick! I still would recommend the Carmindy. I will keep trying different prep for my skin with it.
Tinted Moisturizer -Sonia Kashuk - Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
M3 1/10/2009 11:59:00 AM
This is really a great Tinted Moisturizer. It has a luminosity to it so it really makes your skin glow. There are only two colors to choose from. It smooths out my pores nicely and they're hardly noticeable when I wear this. Don't get it in your eyes at it burns just a bit. The coverage is light which is to be expected!
I tried this for a couple of weeks and it was ok. It didn't do anything for my large pores. I didn't think it would but if I use a primer I like it to smooth my face. I didn't find any smoothing of my skin with this product. It made my skin a tad softer. I wont purchase this again.
Previous to trying this product I was using a Mud Soap for oily skin to cleanse my face. My face became very dry after months very clear but very dry and the wrinkles started to become more apparent. So I decided to try Cetaphil and I'm happy I did. This is a very light cleanser with no fragrance. If I don't use a makeup remover I have to cleanse a couple of times to fully clean my face. I don't mind and my skin is looking better.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation Original Glo Formula

Wow! My skin has never looked this good! I love the "Original Glow" formula! This really is as good as every says it is :)
I've been obsessed with this website for quite some time now so it's funny how I was washing my face last night thinking to myself "What the Fu*& does HG stand for?" when it dawned on me"Holy Grail"! Anyway, I digress. This is it!!!!! This is my HG! It is undetectable (if you choose the right match) it seems to blur my new wrinkles :) Hello Thirties :) it lasts and lasts, it's waterproof, spf 30, natural, oil free, the list goes on! I returned my MUFE waterproof concealer today because you don't need it with this. Perfection! Update...What was I thinking? I thought this looked beautiful until I stepped into another light and it wasn't the perfection I had thought :( If you're thinking about getting this I'd also look into "Transfix" by Kett Cosmetics. It accomplishes the same goal and yet is light and sinks into the skin nicely. They have a large color selection at www.kettcosmetics.com_fixx_creme_makeup.php
I had a bottle of Maybeline Pure Makeup laying around and I decided to play around with a foundation brush and I've never seen my skin look so freakin amazing! I think the key is this... After cleansing my face I applied a tiny amount of Jojoba oil to my face as a moisterizer/primer and then applied the foundation with a foundation brush. OMG Try it!!
This is the best concealer I've found for under eye circles. It's waterproof, does not crack, blends into skin perfectly, full coverage, looks exactly like skin. I love it, always have it!
Amazing! Great for large pores! I've tried almost everything to hide pores and this with a fine milled powder over looks flawless and undetectable! You can't tell you're wearing foundation! Update...You can order "Extra Light" from www.cvs.com If you have fair skin this color if for you!
I really love this mascara. It lasts like waterproof, doesn't clump, doesn't flake, gives volume and lasts all day.
I purchased this in 05 Divine. It's a light natural pink. I like it a lot. Haven't purchased lipstick in years but this was worth it!
I love this to cover old acne scars. It has great staying power! Makes my scars invisible! I find this concealer to be cakey if you apply too much. You only need a tiny dot. I've been using amazing concealer ($40) for under my eyes but I just applied this really really sparingly on my dark circle and I think it hides them but close up I feel like you can see the concealer. (You have to apply just a little for under the eye area or it could look cakey). I would definately buy this product again. You can find something you'll use this for!
Primer/ Corrector -Lumene - Crystal Radiance Skin Tone Perfector
M3 11/20/2008 1:54:00 PM
I just purchase the Sun Radiance (the lighter of the two shades). I had been looking for something to give me that fresh dewy skin you see all the celebrities have on t.v. It's a liquid that is pearlized so it gives your skin this radiance I really like. I wear this under powder, or mix with primer or foundation. I had purchased Lorac's Perfectly Lit and didn't get the results I hoped for. This gave me the look I was searching for and it's really cheap too! I bought mine for 50% off at CVS for $4.99!
