This is the perfect moisturizer for the day time, especially under makeup. It doesn't leave your face shiny or slick, but satiny and smooth. I have dry-ish skin and my face feels moisturized for the entire day and because it doesn't leave your face shiny or slick, foundation looks and stays on beautifully. It also feels cooling/refreshing to apply. I loooooove this so much! This is undoubtedly my HG daytime moisturizer :)

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I love love love this foundation. It leaves my face looking flawless. That being said, this foundation is a medium coverage foundation and can look mask like sometimes if you put too much on. But that's like with any foundation. This isn't a matte foundation, which I prefer because it helps it look more natural. It's pretty long wearing on me, lasting through almost 12 hours of school (with only applying powder in the morning) and can even last through my workouts. It can also accentuate dry patches a little bit, but it's honestly nothing that exfoliation and moisturizing can't fix. The packaging is wonderful, it's sanitary and the pump is easy to control. It is a bit of a splurge because of the price, but I feel that it is worth the investment.

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - Full Cover Concealer

I use this concealer on both my blemishes and under my eye and it works beautifully! It doesn't cake at all and a little goes a long, long way. The finish is natural and not drying in the least. I usually apply with my fingers it's great!

Let me start off by describing my skin. I generally have clear skin. I rarely have pimples, except right before I have my period but even then it's only one or two and those pimples are easily popped. My skin is a little dry and has a tendency to flake if I don't exfoliate. I use my clarisonic mia every night with the sensitive brush head. I picked up Purity on a whim around three weeks ago. At first, I really loved it (except for the scent, which I could deal with) because it didn't make my skin dry, tight or flaky after use. About two weeks ago I noticed that my skin started to break out all over. There wasn't a specific spot that was targeted, my entire face was! These pimples are painful and under the surface, which make them impossible to pop and deal with. I've stopped using the cleanser and I haven't noticed any more pimples coming up, but I'm still stuck with the pimples that had already formed. Ouch!

Perfect, easy-to-wear, everyday, pick-me-up type of colour. On my lips, it looks like a pinky rose colour and seems to make me look more awake. It's also very moisturizing, like all burt's bees lip balms are!

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers - French Vanilla

I love using this as an all over lid colour, it brightens up my eyes beautifully without being really white and opaque or shimmery. It just gives my eyes a beautiful sheen. I also love using this as a highlight on my cheeks or under the browbone. I dropped mine and it broke! But the shadow is still beautiful.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil

Beautiful for contouring, and smells wonderful to boot! This doesn't come up orange on me at all, and I love that it's a matte formula. When I use this in photos, my normally fairly flat face looks full of dimension.

Mascara -Clinique - Lash Power

First off, my lashes are the stereotypical straight asian lashes. They have a hard time holding curl, and are short and sparse. Mascaras also typically smudge like crazy on me, unless they are tubing mascaras. I've tried all sorts of tubing mascaras (including fairydrops scandal queen, clinique high impact curling, prestige lash matrix, fiberwig, and kiss me) and I must say I enjoy this mascara the most. The small brush can coat all my lashes (top and bottom), separating and defining them as well. I get good length from this mascara too. Although I don't get tons and tons of volume, two coats leaves me VERY satisfied. It doesn't seem to hold curl very well in the beginning because the formula is wet, but it does so beautifully later on. It doesn't budge at all throughout the day (even when I'm exercising and sweating) and is easily removed with warm water. Tip: If you want extra dramatic lashes, try using a volumnizing mascara first. Then use this mascara on just the tips to add even more length and definition!

I LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS LIP BUTTER! Pros: - Smooth, moisturizing - Decently pigmented (my lips are naturally really pigmented) - Soft Sheen - Beautiful pinky neutral colour - no noticeable fragrance - great packaging Cons: - It's a little soft, so it's easily smushed (but that's not too much of a problem, just don't take it out of the tube very far ) This is the perfect MLBB for me! The colour goes with everything, and is subtle. Whenever I want to look a bit more polished (especially in professional environments) I go for this!

I love water-based foundations! They just sit on my face better than any other type of foundation. This is no exception! I love the cool feeling you get from putting this on. Because of the formula, this is really easy to apply with your fingers. For me it's not fussy , my go-to everyday foundation. Pros: - Light weight feeling - Easy to apply - Beautiful slightly dewy finish - Light - medium coverage ( you can layer) Cons: - Price - Fragrance ( it's pleasant smelling and doesn't bother me, though)

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LIPSTICK. For me, the colour is a subtle deeper red. The colour is perfect for ladies who are starting to wear red lipsticks. The formula is not drying at all, and although it wears off after eating a meal, the colour "stains" my lips so they're still quite red and pretty.

I love my MIA ! I have fairly dry, flaky skin. For a long time, my skin would peel off all the time, especially around my nose, yuck. I used to use the st. Ive's exfoliating scrub but my skin would still act the same way. I had also noticed a few blackheads on my nose. I had been eyeing the mia for a while, and decided to just do it. I am so glad that I did ! Most people who use this have oilier skin types, but this thing is a miracle worker for dry skinned ladies too! My skin no longer peels off, and my pores are very unnoticeable ! YAY MIA ! (:

My friend recommended this to me when I asked what mascara she used because her lashes always look really long and defined. When I first got this, I really wasn't impressed. I had expected my lashes to look somewhat similar to my friend's but my lashes stuck together and my curl didn't stay. It has dried out a bit and is now much nicer to apply. I wipe off a little product that collects on the tip of the brush and apply a light coat to my lashes. I then wait for it to dry (which doesn't take long) and apply another light coat. If you use that method, then you'll get really long, fluttery but natural looking lashes with a nice curl. I don't use this mascara everyday because I generally just swipe-and-go, but on days where I want to pretty up my lashes a little, this is perfect!

Pressed Powders -Almay - Almay Line Smoothing Powder

I bought this about a year and a half ago, and when I first tried it out I really didn't like it too much. I used the puff that it came with, which applies unevenly and make my face look cakey! I stuck this into my makeup drawer and let it sit there for a really long time until I took it out again three weeks ago when I couldn't find my Almay TLC Pressed Powder. Honestly, when I applied it with my Ecotools Retractable Kabuki, it makes my face completely flawless! I have dry skin and usually powders cling and cake and look really mask-like, but none of that with this powder. I don't have a lot to cover, I need just a bit of coverage to even out my skin tone and set concealer. This powder is perfect for the job! The TLC powder has a tendency to look a bit .. well, powdery but the Line Smoothing powder just likes like skin, but a soft focus matte effect. I absolutely ADORE, though I wish it came with a better puff.

This is my HG everyday foundation! This is just enough to even out my skin tone and looks natural on me. The finish is just a bit dewy, just enough to look completely natural.
