I love all of Rimmel's moisture renew lipsticks and this color is flattering on me. It is very lightweight and moisturizing. It smells like sunscreen to me (which I actually like). The color is medium to sheer and has some non-gritty shimmer. I would recommend these lipsticks highly, although at my CVS the colors I like are often sold out!

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

A beautiful package (if a little impractical) and a great high quality product. Your shadow will stay all day! However, if you have thin skin that shows veins easily like mine, this might not work well with lighter shadows. I have a tendency to use this with medium to dark shadows or under a cream shadow. If I am using lighter colors, I prefer my MAC paint pot in painterly which will cover up any discoloration as a bonus. If you don't need to cover up anything, I would use UDPP in a heartbeat, it is lightweight and works perfectly.

Concealers -Eve Pearl - Dual Salmon Concealer & Treatment

This is the best undereye concealer! The salmon tone cancels out blues from undereye shadows/dark circles or (like me) blue veins showing through thin skin. It is important to put a dab of foundation over it in order to blend it in so it fades into the rest of the skin and doesn't stand out. The consistency is great, it offers enough coverage without caking up because it is a moist formula, almost gel-like? I love this concealer for undereye. It is not a great concealer for blemishes, though, because the salmon tone is not going to help cancel out the redness, it will make it worse. I would recommend either a bit of green concealer or one that exactly matches your skin. I still gave it five stars, because it is a great product, but I think all companies should give a little bit more information about their products so people know how to use them to their best effect.

Moisturizers -Olay - Hydrating Beauty Fluid

This is the moisturizer I use on my neck, cheeks and other dry spots. I have used it since I was a little girl because my mom used to use it. It reminds me of my mom putting lotion on my face. Perhaps just because of that I do enjoy the scent, but if you are sensitive to perfumes, it might not work well for you. It is not suitable for the oilier parts of my face more prone to breakouts but I do love it and how soft my skin feels. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy. Personally, I love that it is cheap, fast absorbing, non-pore clogging, simple moisturizer that doesn't feel greasy or sting.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Be Delicious

This scent just did not work on me. It is very strong and has a dusty floral smell to it that overpowered the apple. My husband asked me if I could wash it off because it was giving him a headache. Scents are really personal and I think everyone should sample on their own skin twice before making a judgment call. On me, it smells like a musty old purse with a sour apple candy stuck to the bottom, on other people it might smell fresh and crisp.

I was "retailed" this product while getting a pedicure in Florida. I figured it would be another impulse buy I gave into and then came down with buyer's remorse. Imagine me, now 2 months later, seeking desperately to replenish my supply with a larger size container. I love this stuff. I want to use it every night. I used to use an Avon product which worked well but I hated the smell. This works just as well, smells divine and has a "luxurious" feel to it the cheaper one didn't. Probably because it costs four times as much. Anyway, I can't stay away. It feels great on my feet.

Lotions/ Creams -OPI - Avojuice Skin Quenchers Candy Cane Juicie

I love Avojuice lotions because they are light and nongreasy but still help moisturize my hands. As a teacher, chalk absorbs a lot of the natural oils on my hands and this is a lotion I can use during the day without leaving greasy marks on my papers and desk. For very dry skin or for a nighttime intensive treatment, you might want something stronger, but of all my lotions, avojuice is the most enjoyable to put on. All the smells are great, but I am a repeat purchaser of the "Candy Cane" because it is unique and my husband ADORES all things peppermint. He even loves using this lotion. The smell is also refreshing in the morning. It is energizing and reminds me of the holidays as well.

Eyeliner -mark - Eyemarker in Java

I love this eyeliner. I often have a hard time with eyeliner not showing up because of dryness or irritating my eyes (contact lens wearer). However, this eyeliner glides on and stays all day unless I rub my eyes. It is one of only two brands that has been able to do this and it is MUCH cheaper! If you know an Avon lady, wait for a sale and stock up, buy ten at a time, they keep in the fridge. Java is my favorite color. I've tried the blue and it looked too harsh on my complexion. The brown is deep but natural.

Brows -Anastasia Of Beverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil-Ash Blonde

I am a natural dark blonde with light to medium blonde highlights and this is the best pencil for me. It matches my natural color and doesn't look too dark or fake like most pencils. I love that the pencil is so fine that I can make many little strokes and the result looks like real brow hairs. Love it.

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil

I like Mineral Veil, but it is 90% cornstarch, and way overpriced. Take your favorite loose powder and mix a tiny bit into some cornstarch and dust on the same way you swirl tap and buff Mineral Veil. You've saved a lot!

Lip Gloss -DuWop - Lip Venom

I love this gloss. It doesn't have a huge plumping effect, which is why I only gave it a 4, but it does give my lips a natural "flushed" color and a beautiful shine that makes people ask what color lipstick I am wearing when I only have this on! My fiance also LOVES the slight tingle it leaves on the lips and he repurchases it for me often! I wear it every weekend, at least!
