Hair -Wen by Chaz Dean - Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner

Not what it's hyped up to be. I have thick coarse hair and I blowed dried my hair and it still looked frizzy that I had to put in product and flatiron my hair. The only thing I like is how minty it made my scalp feel and so I gave it a 2. Not worth the money and so hyped up.
I love this new collection. The colors are fabulous for spring/summer. This is my favorite color from the collection. It applys nice in two coats you get that pea soupy color that actually looks lovely on tanned skins. It gives my hands/feet a nice healthy glowy tanned look. I know I am going to be wearing this all summer. Its subtle as well so it would look great for work attire wearing with navys or white/creams and into the weekend. I bought the Shrek Mini collection and I am excited to try how Firecely Fiona is going to look. For sure I am going to get a back up of Who the Shrek Are you.
I am in love with the color of this polish. Its not the bright vivid or dark midnight type of blue that can sometimes only be meant for specific occasions. Its a grey/muted blue, absolutely gorgeous and surprisngly wearable shade for either play or work. I see this also wearable for all seasons. It has the air of springy-ness to it but also the fall feeling with the grey tones. I am tanned now and I love it with and without having a tan. The only downfall is that I need about 2 to 3 coats to make it work for me without it looking streaky. I also think it maybe LE, if so thats really too bad because its so darn pretty.
Blush -MAC - Blush Ombre - Ripe Peach [DISCONTINUED]

I am really glad I exchanged the Azalea Blossom for this. The pigmentation on this is much better for my NC37 skin tone. It gives a nice flushed, healthy look that I like as opposed to being roughed up and bruised. I only gave it 4 points due to the fact that I have noticed the blush does not last long. I will not be buying this again since it is LE and that it is mega huge that I don't need a backup.*****EDIT*****3/26 I ended up returning this since although very pretty in the pan to look at it just isn't the same in return of how the hue turns out on my face. If you are a collector then by all means buy it but as far as price and how long the hue last on my cheeks it just was not worth it for me to keep so I returned it. I also could not get use to the orangey color. I am more of a pinkie peach blush girl, not orange/red. This product IMO is "Over-Hyped"
I really like how the color of this blush is. It has a gradient effect from light to dark. There is also alot of product that will last forever, so no need for a backup really. Other than that I'm not a fan of the coloring. I tried wearing this for a week now and I like pink blushes but this turns out more of a violet. Looks like my cheeks are bruised look. Not attractive so I am returning this for the Ripe Peach. Not sure of how that will go, so I'll keep you posted.
I wanted to try this mascara out since some of the Gurus on Utube where raving about it and so I really wanted to love it but found it to be just "meh". I thought I was going to like the brush since I really hate mascaras with big brushes and usually go for the skinny plasticy kinds and found mascara with these types of brushes to work for me. Its really dark and it separates well but for me that is about it. It doesnt really keep a curl nor volumize or lengthen. Its not going to give you the falsies look. I would need to layer this mascara with another mascara that is going to lengthen or volumize so its an okay mascara but not so impressed and I would not repurchase.
This is one of the new shadesticks from The Warm & Cozy Collection. As with some of the reviewers below who used MAC Vanilla Pigment, I have never used it so I can't compare it to that, but makes me want to try that out. The packaging is really sleek and pretty. It applies smooth, I used it as a base under Modelette on lid and Mulled Cider in the outer v. The formulation is great compared to the old shadesticks. I also worn it the whole day and it didn't crease. I applied it all over my lid as well as in the inner V. This stuff is the bomb It brightens the eye with a pretty sheen and to me it was not chunky at all. It gives me an awake look with a really pretty subdued golden color coming through the shadow. I love this stick and can't wait to try it out with other colors. Too bad this is LE.
Blush -NARS - Deep Throat Blush and Striptease Lip Gloss Set
Lulu7 12/11/2009 4:01:00 PM
I found this set at TJ Maxx. I had to buy it since I have been lemming to try both and such a great deal. I agree with some of the reviews below that the blush is very similar to MAC Springsheen or even a lighter version of Orgasm which I like too but not a die hard fan of. I like and prefer the sheen from DeepThroat since on my skin its not so obtrusive or shiny. Its light with a pretty pink, peach sheen. Aside from the bad reviews of the lipgloss, I am a lover of the gloss. I have pigmented lips and I like the look when I layer it sparingly over MAC creme d'nude for me its the best nude gloss ever aside from the smell but it goes away. I haven't had any goopy, sticky problems only perfect nude lips that give that j.lo esque lip. I would re-purchase both products.
Mascara -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Definition mascara

I received this as a sample. Good thing I did not buy this. I thought I was going to love it since the MA at the Counter hyped it so much and I thought I was going to love how the wand worked. This mascara however did not work for me. It clumps a little. It did not lengthen, nor add volume, or even hold a curl. It was just "meh". I will not buy after trying out sample.
I was looking forward to seeing this but to my disapointment the color turned out to be just "Meh" for me. It is lovely in the tube, I am a fan of purple shades but this just did not work on me. It did not compliment me at all. It made my lips look grey weird looking kind of an ashy finish, so I ended up returning it. It was so "NOT" this season for me that is.
This is surprisingly very pretty. You can wear this over Hipster or Diva and get a dark lip paired with a wash of a toned downed neutral eye shade and it would look put together. Or you can wear more liner with the lip and get a pinup or vampy look. I personally like to wear Myth or Creme d'nude and wear this on top and you get the prettiest light blue pink/mauvey lip. I am loving the versatility of this gloss and the many looks I can produce with it. I am getting a back up of it.
This product is a No Fail for me. I used it ever since I was a teenager. Its cheap. It works to keep acne at bay. It is relaxing and it makes my skin feel smooth after I used it. Why use anything else. Yet again, I love masks and would love to experiment with others, however I would always have this because its like a tried and true old friend - it does not fail me.
l love this polish. It applies on creamy and easily for me. I only need 2 coats. I wore it in the spring and rediscovered it now. It is great to wear with all my fall clothes it adds a pop of color when I wear it with gray, brown, and black clothes. The color is not so loud and works in a conservative office setting yet it is still unique and pretty enough to wear into evening. So when I want a break from the darker polishes I do this nailpolish up and it is just lovely.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Cult of Cherry Spiced Chocolate Quad [DISCONTINUED]
Lulu7 11/21/2009 1:17:00 PM
Recently rediscovered this quad I received in a swap from a lovely MUAer some 9 months ago. I forgot how beautiful this quad is to wear and it is perfect for Fall/Winter with the jewel rust and earth toned brown colors so gorgeous with my brown eyes. I would think it would love as lovely on even hazel/green eyes. This is one of MACs truly best palettes. So sad its LE. I try not to use to much of it because the colors are that good together. This quad is so HOT, so if you can get your hands on this don't think about just get it and you'll see what I mean. It's that good. I hope they re-release this exact quad because the prices on Evil bay are hideous.
The Aloe Plant...what can I say but this is a miracle, MUST have plant. Not only is it cute but its also healing. This medicinal plant is great and inexpensive. I have 2 small ones around the house. One in the kitchen and one on the porch. I recently accidentally burned myself while heating wax in the microwave and the plastic holding the wax just burst all over.....yikes.....I know. It was an excuriating pain but the aloe help soothed the pain. Its also great for sunburns, cuts, after facial waxing which I now heat in a wax warmer (lesson learned).
