Cleansers -Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild

I have extremely dry and sensitive skin (Type 1). I thought I would try this out because all of the drugstore cleansers seem to be too harsh for my skin. This was perfect, very smooth and non-drying, felt pretty good on my skin actually. For the most part it doesn't have a really strong fragrance which I love. I would say after using this my skin looked better then it has in years. It made my skin feel moisturized and look more even. If you have mild sensitive skin to extremely sensitive skin like mine, this cleanser would be okay to use. I use it with the cleansing lotion toner and the dramatically different moisturizing lotion. Little bit pricey but if you already know what works for you it saves you money in the long run. The ONLY thing I don't like is that I ran through the bottle in just a couple of weeks.

I had previously picked up the "Extra Mild" version of this when my skin was feeling it's most sensitive. I decided to try this one because I figured it couldn't be that much different... I was WRONG. From the first use I noticed this product dried my skin out tremendously and left my face extremely red. I also developed quite a few dry patches and it doesn't look like any kind of moisturizer is helping. My advice to ANYONE with even slightly sensitive skin to steer clear of this because I think it's too harsh. You go from "Extra Mild" to "Mild" thinking it won't be that big of a change, but it is. I suppose it's because this is clear cleanser and the "Extra Mild" is a creamy cleanser.
