Deodorants -Dove - Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth
LostHearts 4/8/2012 12:49:00 AM
This has been the best deodorant I have ever used. Silky smooth, glides on beautifully and actually does what it claims. Within 2 weeks, the skin of my underarms was softer, smoother and looked so much nicer. What puzzles me is that I think that this product has already been discontinued. I tried to go to its website and received a "page no longer exists" message. If so, a BIG mistake by Dove. I will continue to search for it in my local stores and online. If you want your underarms to feel soft and look smoother, this is the product for you.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Root Rescue
LostHearts 12/10/2011 12:44:00 PM
Purchased this product because it was new and on sale. What a disappointment! Even though I left it on my gray roots for a bit longer than recommended, it barely covered the hair. Apparently, this is a translucent type of dye, which in my experience does not work well on gray hair. It was a total waste of money. I'm sticking with Nice & East Root Touchup, which has yet to let me down. Oh well, live and learn.

Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter
LostHearts 12/10/2011 12:40:00 PM
After reading so many positive reviews of this product, I just had to try it for myself. I just couldn't believe that something from the Suave line could outdo the more expensive salon brands. Was I pleasantly surprised! This has to be the best conditioner I have ever used. My former favorite was Graham Webb's Halo Hydrating Formula, which has been discontinued. This product beat it by a mile! My hair is not only soft but super shiny as well. I've tested it against other drugstore brands and it still wins every time. Hard to believe that this is so inexpensive and yet works so well, better than ones that cost $36. Highest recommendations for those who want softness and a mirror like shine.

Hair Color -Clairol - Nice 'n Easy - Root Touch Up
LostHearts 2/6/2009 9:02:00 AM
This product is a real life saver! Since I color my hair with Preference's 4A my gray roots really stand out quickly after a short time. This is a quick, easy and effective solution. It has always matched my hair color and covers my gray hair completely (I leave it on 15-20 minutes because of the gray.) I've tried L'Oreal's root coloring kit and it didn't fully cover the gray. It probably would be less expensive just to buy another box of regular color (or if you have the credentials, larger containers of the color and the peroxide) and just use a portion to refresh your roots until the next coloring is due. Still, Clairol did come up with a very easy and innovative idea for those on the run. The only drawback-I've found that there is sufficient product to cover my major part plus the hairs that frame my face. More than that and I would have to purchase another box.

Conditioner -Graham Webb - Color Enhancing Conditioner in Ruby Red
LostHearts 7/30/2004 9:32:00 PM
My underlying color is dark brown. I use Ruby Red Shampoo and Conditioner. I leave it on for the maximum time and afterward my hair is such a nice auburn shade it looks like I just had a color service done. And it lasts! I use it about every 3-4 shampoos until it nears the time for my next coloring so it won't interfere with the level 3 permanent color that I use. You cannot go wrong with this product. It's worth every penny!

Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

To be honest, I didn't even get to really try this product. I applied it i a small spot as a test and the ammonia smell was so bad my eyes burned and teared. I had to rinse it out right away. To L'Oreal's credit (they are the parent company) they refunded my money after I called and reported it. What is with all that ammonia? I see there are other complaints about it as well.
