Polishes -OPI - Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue
LookingGood85 10/27/2012 4:18:00 AM
Love OPI. And this one does not disappoint! From the Germany collection 2012. The first coat is fine, and comes out more of a shimmery teal colour, but the second coat renders it totally opaque, a gorgeous shiny shimmery blue colour :-) so unusual yet totally wearable!!!! I'm wearing it on my toes too and pairing it with a red dress and red shoes for a wedding today :-)

Treatments -Gatineau - Activ éclat radiance enhancing gommage
LookingGood85 10/26/2012 2:16:00 AM
I bought a mini set with the 3D lipgloss, this gommage "scrub" and some creams and eye masks. Used is gommage this morning. You rub the gel all over a dry clean face until it turns liquid, then leave for 1-2 minutes as a sort of mask. After rinsing my skin felt so soft and looked luminous! I think I'll be buying the full size one of this when my little bottle runs out!!!!! Totally recommend for an indulgent yet quick facial!!!

Eye Makeup Remover -Avon - Perfect Wear Makeup Remover (US) / Exra Lasting Makeup Remover (UK)
LookingGood85 10/9/2012 1:39:00 AM
I bought this on offer for £1.50 I stead of its £5 rrp. Anyways, with it being a very wet autumn/winter here and me struggling to remove my waterproof mascara, I thought I'd need a strong eye makeup remover. While this removes the majority of mascara, I also am left with a burning sensation :-/ so won't be using it all the time! As I bought two bottles, doubt ill need to buy again. So it got a lippie for cheap price, and lippie for quite decent removing skills on waterproof mascara. Luckily didn't get the plasticky feel others got!!!

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Hand and Nail Harmony Gelish Gel Polish
LookingGood85 10/5/2012 2:20:00 AM
I paid £10 for this manicure as I have a few "doos" coming up and couldn't be bothered with polish. I got this in Hot Rod Red and my word it's true to its name! A proper slutty red lol, perfect as that's the exact colour I asked for!!!( yes really!!! Lol) Anyways, the girl lightly filed over my nails to make them coarse so the Gelish base coat would stick better, popped my hands under uv lamp, then did two coats of the colour, after each coat my nails were again put under uv lamp, then a top coat was applied and again put under uv. I've had them done for two days now, and touch wood, no chipping and the gloss is still as glossy and shiny as the day they were done!!!! I'd recommend this over shellac, I just didn't find shellac to last as long or look as nice and glossy!!!!!

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Cherish
LookingGood85 9/30/2012 7:37:00 AM
Bought this for £7.99 in Boots. Love this colour!!!! Completely changes my face! I would say this goes on a bit more waxy than a balm, but the colour payoff is amazing and my lips feel nice and moisturised!!! The stain it leaves behind is subtle but nice :-)

Treatments -Alberto Vo5 - Miracle Concentrate Elixir with Argan Oil
LookingGood85 9/24/2012 12:59:00 AM
It's Is an average product I'd say. I use the Loreal excellence oil with superb results. Anyhow, I'm not a fan of the packaging, don't like the dropper and the Mount up you get isn't much. I found that while my hair did feel lovely and smooth the first day, it got greasy and heavy feeling on day two. I can usually go up to 4-5 days without washing my hair, but this had me washing my hair after two days!

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Denman - Classic Styling Brushes
LookingGood85 9/24/2012 12:55:00 AM
I have a mini version of this and the large one. It's the ONLY brush I can use on my hair with confidence. My hair is low maintenance. Shoulder length, I don't straighten it unless for a day/ night out, so it just goes up into a ponytail with a quiff! This brush doesn't snag, pull or rip my hair, it just brushes through with ease and is soft on the scalp. If I ever lose it ill buy another, as I just love these brushes. There is Jo need for cheapy hair brushes, they just snag and rip your hair. Invest £8 in one of these and your hair will love you for it!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Toasted
LookingGood85 9/24/2012 12:49:00 AM
It's is my new fave UD eyeshadow! Thanks to a SA at the UD stand in debenhams, I started to use this and Creep from my Naked Pallet for a new look smokey eye. It's a gorgeous colour, very shimmery, which I love. It's a cross between a bronzey pink colour and is gorgeous against my blue eyes, really makes them pop! My new fave colour, and I'll be buying the single shadow soon :-)! Yes there is fallout, but I can cope with that as I have shimmery blush etc lol! I'm a disco ball ;-)

Self Tanners -St.Tropez - Aero Bronze Air Spray
LookingGood85 9/24/2012 12:33:00 AM
I paid £21 for this in Boots. I have used, successfully might I add, the bronzing mousse, years ago, and as I have 4 doo's to go to in October, where I will be wearing a dress, I thought I'd buy this. I thought it'd be similar to the mousse in that it'd go on dark so you could see where you have applied? Wrong. I had patches I'd missed, although not major as the colour wasn't as deep as the mousse?! Anyhow, the application is easy, the spray makes it easy to spray at any angle and it smells quite nice! I'm glad I did a trial run as I now know I'm gonna need to do two coats of this stuff over two nights! I took a lippie off as I am pretty sure that regardless of the size of the can, with it being an aerosol, it will run out a million times faster than the mousse. I took another lippie off for it being pretty impossible to tell where you have sprayed making it a recipe for streaking disaster! A colour guide like the bronzing mousse would be so useful and helpful! Great product but not for st tropez virgins! If new to it, get the mousse!

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer
LookingGood85 9/24/2012 12:21:00 AM
I used to use the light version and adored it, it still is one of my faves! But I now use Urban Decays tightening primer as its more within my price range. Anyhow, rebought my beloved Halo powder from smashbox online and was given a delux sample of this primer and also a sachet of it in the Halo box. Gave it a shot, have worn it each day for about 5 days. It's very velvety to touch, all the silicones I guess. My makeup applied like a dream (as I knew it would) and lasted, it seemed, forever! So I gets to yesterday, and I start feeling painful lumps under my skin near my nose and on my chin. My two danger zones for acne. I havnt had a breakout from a product in ages, but this seems to have caused a lovely breakout :-( painful spots have appeared, and I'm now having to slather my Duac cream on to get rid of them :-( the primer is the only change in my usual routine this past month or so, so it can't be anything else. To be truthful, my skin DOES feel a little suffocated with this primer on, feels too heavy for me, guess it clogged my pores instantly! Great product if you don't have acne prone or sensitive skin! If you do, give the lit version a try or the UD brightening and tightening primer :-)

Scrubs -Soap and Glory - Flake Away Spa Body Polish
LookingGood85 9/16/2012 2:43:00 PM
I paid £7 for this. I like it. It's nice and thick but spreads over the skin nicely and doesn't slip off the skin like some! Only issue is the tub, water tends to collect on top of the scrub from dipping my hand in! But that goes for any tub of scrub lol! Definitely like this, skin feels nice and smooth on my arms!

Scrubs -L'Oreal - Exfotonic
LookingGood85 9/16/2012 2:41:00 PM
Got this in morrisons for about £5, and love it. Skin feels nicely scrubbed and fresh, no residue left behind either. The particles in it are big for my liking but it did its job we'll. My all time fave is still the Clinique Sparkle Skin in the tub.

Brows -Unlisted Brand - castor oil
LookingGood85 9/12/2012 9:46:00 AM
I got a medium ish sized bottle from a pharmacy in Bedford for £3.27 :-) I let a trickle of this gloop onto my cleaned mascara wand (max factor one) the brush it through my lashes, en do the same on the other eye. Sometimes I'll whizz the wand over my brows as well. I've noticed since doing this nightly with the odd hour in a morning, my lashes are much much longer than usual! I've had no issues with dry or falling out lashes! Well another great use is to remove waterproof mascara! I had to buy some waterproof max factor for the first time ever due to constant rainy damp weather her in Manchester uk! I soaked a cotton wool pad with castor oil, rubbed another cotton wool pad ton this to distribute it between two pads, and gently rubbed at my lashes, which took the lot off no problem! Awesome product!

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Tangle Teezer
LookingGood85 9/12/2012 9:37:00 AM
I bought the flower pot tangle teezer for my 4 year old. Her hair is very fine, and after being asleep it is curly and wavy and wispy! Doing her hair for school is a nightmare usually as brushing through the sleep induced tattyness hurt her. Anyhow, this has added a fun element to it! The brush on this is super gentle and gently smooths the hair of any tats, apart from the odd mega tat which is rare now! Double whammy is that the flower pot doubles up as a bobble storage container :-) win win!
