I have a whole shed load (ok not literally but I own a lot!) of these. I love all the finishes they come in and I've just picked up some of the matt opaque shades. I'm currently wearing lacey lilac.but there was plenty to choose from and the brights were great. Some of my favorites would still be in the pearlescent finishes, gunmetal and crushed coming to mind. The price is one you certainly can't complain about and it never takes more than a couple of coats. What I love most (apart from the color range) would be how truly chip resistant they are. For a budget brand the lasting power on me is amazing.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Bella Bamba

Picked this up the other week and I do like it. It is a bit on the spangly side so one for a night out for me but it doesn't put me off. I like the tone on my skin and although I apply with a light hand it is easily buildable if thats what you're going for. Not as enamoured with the new packaging but its not bad either. I'd pick it up again, if only as it would make a cute older teen gift.

Lipstick -Urban Decay - Lipstick

I do like the payoff on UD lipsticks. They go on great for me and have pretty good staying power. As for the scent... ok some of them seem to be worse than others (or is that just me!?). Weighing it up against how much I like the colors and that packaging, which I'm a total sucker for, I can live with it. As you can pick these up without paying the full retail price pretty easily I'm working my way through them and I'll certainly be back for a good few shades when they run out.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
rated 3 of 5

I found this mascara to be ok but not much more than that. The formula is fine to apply but I did find it a bit flaky after a while. It does hold the curl of the lashes but I didn't find the effect to be as dramatic as the name might suggest. Not too keen on the curved wand. It may suit some eye shapes and lashes but it doesn't benefit mine. I used different disposibles and got a much better outcome with the product. Unfortunately it seemed to dry out pretty fast too. Overall its just fine as a day to day mascara but I think Maybelline do better ones.

Liquid -Avon - MagiX Cashmere Finish Liquid Foundation - Natural Beige
rated 3 of 5

I gave this a tentative try and I'm pretty glad I did. The color matched me well and it feels very nice going on. I apply it pretty thinly (as with all foundations) and it gives me just the right amount of coverage while still having my skin looking like skin. The price is about in line with most drugstore brands. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the smell which is slightly clay-like but its not offensive and disappears when its applied. Possibly a plus point as its clearly not overly perfumed and I've not had any reactions to using it. Not the most amazing product ever but certainly decent.

Eyeliner -Avon - SuperShock Gel Eyeliner Pencil
rated 4 of 5

I can't believe how much Avon has stepped up its game with this pencil. I have it in black and it really has done the job for me. It glides on beautifully, is a true black so the pigmentation is great and doesn't smear throughout the day like I've found with others. I found it very workable for different looks and it stays on my waterline which is the biggest bonus. My eyes have not thanked me for getting up close and personal with some pencils in the past but I've had no trouble with this one, although ofcourse thats a personal thing. For the price I don't think you can go far wrong and its certainly worth a shot.

Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Lipstick- Rose Tea
rated 5 of 5
LollieDollie 2/22/2011 7:52:00 PM

I adore this lipstick. If you're like me and the nude shades you can often find to be too draining this is a great alternative. Still neutral but with the rose depth of color to it. The scent of some EL lipsticks can be an acquired taste (this is one of those) but it doesn't really offend me at all. The staying power is good and because of the shade fitting with so many other products for overall looks its one I reach for again and again. Really one I wouldn't want to do without.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Woodwinked - veluxe pearl
rated 4 of 5
LollieDollie 2/22/2011 7:37:00 PM

I love this color. Its a staple for me as I tend to go for the more coppery/bronzy gold tones, alone or shot through neutrals. If thats not one to suit then you're probably going to have a problem with it even if you like it in the pan. Blends beautifully and compliments a vast array of other shadows. I don't find the shimmer too overdone so its flattering for many looks.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - thrrrob
rated 4 of 5
LollieDollie 2/22/2011 6:55:00 PM

Thrrrob for me is one if you just want a gentle flush of color. Its no more, no less. It gives me a nice glow so I've always been happy with it. I had also heard about it becoming discontinued so had a panic and repurchased! Are there more pigmented products out there? Absolutely, so this may not be what you're looking for if you like a more enhanced cheek look. For me it does what it says on the tin so I'm glad I could get my hands on it again.

Lipstick -Clinique - Different Lipstick - A Different Grape
rated 4 of 5
LollieDollie 2/22/2011 6:48:00 PM

I really liked this color from Clinique. With lipsticks its all down to your coloring obviously but as I'm medium/tan and dark its right up my street. The shade isn't particularly dark or vibrant on me, more of a muted berry. Plus no weird smell and it goes on really smoothly. Would definitely purchase again.

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - That Gal
rated 3 of 5
LollieDollie 2/22/2011 6:40:00 PM

This was just ok for me. Its a pleasant product to use and smells good. In terms of being a primer I would say certainly not under cream or liquid. Not bad as a highlight if you want something very subtle. I wouldn't personally use this on its own as I like a bit of coverage but it does add a certain amount of radiance to the skin. Not an awful lot of product for the money though which is my main gripe. I do like a lot of Benefit products but this isn't the best of them for me personally. There are better products out there for the job I wanted it to do.
